This story came out as a result of my frustrations from teleserye portraying superheroes that is very much a copy of western superheroes. Like, seriously, Victor Magtanggol (Thor) and Alyas Robin Hood (Arrow)?

Just to make things clear, I'm not any better than those creative artists, but still I wanted to write a superhero that is reminiscent of other superheroes BUT still had the touch of Filipino folklore and a mixture of other influences (Ahem, hollywood and anime). Hello Danag and other creatures of the night.

And as you know how teleserye's are, or fantaserye for that matter, whatever they're called, it should not be too violent, have a touch of drama (familial or romance), religious references, cliches that never fails to work (hopefully), must be in present day facing current issues and a whole lot of romance (God help me on this part). 

And so I hereby present to you, the result of my frustrations on the Filipino series, my very own, "The Insect Whisperer." If you know, Ghost Whisperer, I think you already had an idea of what this is.
