Missing You

Last night I closed my eyes

To our meeting place I went,

Searching for your smiling face

Amid some strange events.

I wondered through the darkness

Lost and so alone,

Looking for your inner light,

The one that guides me home.

I waited untill the morning sun

Did intrude upon my rest,

And I waken with a dreaded feel

Pressing hard within my chest.

The day seems never ending,

And the ache that's in my heart,

Beats a persistent reminder

Of every second we are apart.

Impatiently I wait

For night to fall again

So I may visit our other realm

In the hope that you'll return.
