Delia had fell asleep after a while of just watching television. Watching television made her get something done while she was resting, so she just decided to fall asleep. When Ash checked up on her again, Delia was sleeping peacefully and that made Ash smile softly to himself. "Pika pika?" Pikachu asked about Delia's condition. Ash silently closed the door in order to not disturb his resting mother. 

"She's fine, Pikachu. She's sleeping now," he answered. Pikachu was glad that Delia was feeling okay. I hope her fever breaks soon, though. Ash thought, thinking back to how Delia was when she had fainted. She didn't look so good and Ash was wondering why the woman was pushing herself for his sake. He then realized that Delia was missing him a lot when he was gone and guilt filled him. He didn't mean to make his mother miss him that much, but as he pressed a cool hand to his mother's slightly warm forehead, he knew what he had to do. He had to make her happy again. Ash fell asleep with Pikachu by his side.

The next morning, Ash was up cooking breakfast for Delia. He knew what Delia liked. I hope her fever had finally broke. He thought as he fixed the plates. Delia woke up to feel a very great smell. "Who's cooking?" She had wondered to herself as she started to walk down the stairs. When she had reached the first floor of the house, she seen Ash over the stove and the sight shocked her. I didn't know Ash knew how to cook. She was happy at her baby boy growing up. She had also noticed that Ash was shirtless as he was cooking. "Is it safe for you to not have on a shirt?" She asked. Her voice didn't shock Ash as Ash had glanced over in her direction as he heard footsteps, but he was shocked that she was out of bed.

"You're up? I hope this means that your fever is gone," Ash tells Delia, who smiled at his worry for her.

"Don't worry, Ash. I feel good as new," she answered. Her answer made Ash smile. 

"That's good. Grab a chair, I made breakfast," he told her with a wide grin on his face.
