I am in a dilemma and total confusion.. some of my readers feel that the story is progressing very slowly/dragged unnecessarily and needs to be fast-forwarded. I don't blame them. However, now brain is simply not braining. I have a set plot and the story is still at Chapter 30.. I've seen stories from other authors going up to 100+ chapters but until now none of my stories have gone over 55 chapters. Honestly, I am losing a track due to above requests and need your opinion on the story to continue this..

My POV:
I agree that I write the romance genre but mostly all my stories have a hidden message or address the social issue.

I know a lot of readers on this forum prefer reading smut who are teenagers and adolescents. I have a child who is approaching this stage and I believe it is still not the right age to lose the innocence. I strongly agree that the sex education is important among adolescents because that is the age they hit puberty and are curious about their body and it's functions. While they are fascinated by the pleasures of the sexual act, they also need to be educated on the consequences it could give rise to if done at an inappropriate age and with inadequate knowledge. I want to bring balance to this concept highlighting the other side of the coin.

My son has sessions about this at school and he doesn't shy away to share what he learnt about his body with me than his father. I discuss with him and ask him questions to encourage him to understand better. As I care for my son, I care for every reader who are more or less his age. I am not an expert but just a friend who would give you the message in a subtle way through this story. I can fast forward the story but would life really give you that chance if you were in Sana or Sidharth's place in the story.

I would be disappointed with myself if I don't do justice to the concept and the story. I can't bring myself to simply skip the painful part and arrive at the lovey dovey part. Once again I don't intend to drag the story over 50 chapters as well.

Your opinion on this would help me decide the fate of the story now.
