Kaycan awoke with a jolt from yet another a dreamless night. The trip from Mandalore to Tatooine took about 2 weeks, and they were on their 10th day of travel. Kaycan usually had vivid dreams, even when traveling, so the lack of dreams worried her. "Maybe it's the force using," she mumbled under her breath before walking up to get some breakfast.

Her father had woken up early, so the ship was on auto pilot the smallest amount of time possible. Kaycan had even woken up early to try and catch a glimpse of the auto pilot, but her father seemed to know about this, and woke up early himself. So, should I tell him about my dreamless nights and my force using? Kaycan thought to herself. After a short mental debate, she decides to tell him about the dreams, but not the force using.
"Hey, Dad?"
"Yes?"
"I need to tell you something."
