Slicing pain was I left with to deal,
Forced to leave your side after the ordeal.
Waking up alone and empty,
Time past us by in a jiffy.
Until the day I found you all once more,
The day I became yours forevermore.
Twisting out of the hands of the wicked we whisk away,
Into the setting sun,
Leaving the past to colour itself grey.
An inheritance of a lifetime I've received,
Defeating the family that deceived.
Off to conquer the next greatest challenge for you and for me,
Living our happily forever after,
Finally away and we're free.
