Jimin's POV

I gently shook my fiancée awake. We needed to clear our minds. Sleeping in for the rest of the day wouldn't do us any good.

Haneul made me crazy for her. But while I wanted to have her again and again, we still had a reservation at The Odessy, a Greek and Italian themed restaurant in Gangnam that I wanted to take her to.

Her long lashes fluttered open, revealing her beautiful hazel coloured eyes. Haneul silently studied me for a few seconds, a small smile spread across her beautifully balanced lips.

"Hey handsome." She smirked, wrapping her arms a little more tighter around my waist, resting her chin on my bare chest as she looked up into my eyes.

"Hey gorgeous. Let's get ready for our next part of our date." I whispered to her, gently coaxing her out of bed.

But my little rebel cheekily clung to me, closing her eyes, she pretended to fall asleep once again.

"Haneul, I have reservations for us at The Odessy." I urged her. "Come on, love. Let's go out and celebrate our engagement, and our wedding is just a day away." I brushed a strand of hair off her face, admiring how beautiful she looked in my arms.

"Alright." She huffed out. "But I like it here, alone with you. I've waited so long for this Jimin." Haneul murmured into the silence, ducking her face on my chest, thinking that she was hiding the pained look in her eyes. She was so adorable at times like this.

But I knew my Haneul.

"It's okay, sweetheart. After the wedding, we'll have our forever after to be together." I coaxed her, stroking her hair, hoping she'd wake up.

"Fine, but please can I use your shower first?" She blinked up at me, the tears that still clung to her eyelashes looked like diamonds.

I reached out to wipe them away, which made her smile a little.

At least she was smiling now.

October 23rd 2020, a day I'll remember until my dying day. The day I got to finally be with my Haneul. The first day we got to finally live our lives together, in the start of our ever after.

About ten minutes later, Haneul emerged from my bathroom, the ends of her hair slightly damp from her shower. She was fully dressed once more, but we were going to stop at the store to get her a fresh change of clothes.

Once I showered, we headed off to the store to get her something more suitable to wear.

We weren't too behind schedule, all thanks to my parents sending us off two hours earlier than we should have left the hotel. Did they perhaps tell us to leave because they wanted a head start on grandchildren?

I guess we'll never really understand.

⋆⋆⋆

Haneul's soft gasp made me chuckle.

There was just something so you're and innocent with the way she reacted to new places like this. I revelled in deligting her with the best kinds of food, knowing just how much she loved baking and more especially eating good food! That's one thing she has in common with Jin hyung.

I pulled a chair out for her to sit then took a seat opposite her so I could see more of her adorable reactions. We folded our menus, perusing through the list of items to eat in a comfortable silence. I eyed her over the menu in my hands as she scrunched her nose in thought.

'She's so cute! I'm so glad she's mine.' I breathed out happily.

"Are you ready to order sir, madam?" The waiter asked us, bowing slightly.

"Ne, my lady first; darling what would you like to order?" I looked at my gorgeous fiancée, patiently waiting for her to place her order. When the waiter looked at me, I smiled, duplicating her order.

Haneul widened her eyes at me, clearly not expecting me to order pasta. "You never used to eat anything that wasn't Korean." She gasped softly, then broke into the cutest giggle.

"I only ate traditional Korean foods around you because you didn't like anything that wasn't our typical home food. Don't you remember that?" I took her hands in mine.

Haneul used to say that nothing was better than a home cooked meal. She always preferred Korean food like japchae or anything traditional and hearty. So I was surprised when I heard that she'd become a baker.

Eventually, our Haneul had completed her degree and then she studied a baking course, which is how she's become so good at what she does. The hyungs and I would watch her from afar, waiting for the right time to approach her.

Seojin hyung would often take a dig at me, but he was also very supportive, helping us keep a closer eye on her. I'm so glad that we're finally with her now. These last four years was torture without her.

"Hmmm... Okay, you got me." She grinned sheepishly. "I guess I miss travelling with my parents." She smiled, but I could see a hint of sadness in her eyes.

I knew why, but I didn't want to bring up the reason nor did I want to ponder over the events. Tomorrow is already going to be a very difficult day for the eight of us.

We cannot afford to ponder on anything else.

Just as I lifted my head up to glance around the restaurant, my eyes caught sight of Jungkook and Taehyung who were here to back me up should anything happen.

"Ne Sarang, everything will be okay." I assured her.

It was at this precise moment our meal arrived, which confirmed that Taehyung had already spoken to the chef to prioritize our meal - since we have shares at this hotel; which something we haven't told our future wife as yet.

"Buon appetito, amore mio." I smiled at her.

"Grazie." She smiled, her face brightening at the change of topic. "I didn't know you spoke Italian! That just makes you sexier!" She winked, and dove into her meal, making me chuckle at her priorities.

Food first, us later.

After Taehyung and Jungkook looked happy to see that everything was fine, the two maknae rose from their seats on either side of the restaurant and walked out of the doors on either side of the room. Yoongi hyung had probably given them updates.

And that was also our cue to leave the restaurant. We were done with our meal. And dessert was already planned at our next destination.

"Thank you so much for the prompt service." I muttered to the waiter when he bent over to hand me a note from the maknae.

"Always a pleasure Jimin."

And with that we rose to leave The Odessy.

⋆⋆⋆

Haneul and I walked side by side, our hands clasped together as we revelled in the fresh sea breeze that caressed our faces as we walked to the end of the pier.

"Are your days always so eventful?" Haneul mused, resting her head on my shoulder. We perched on a bench over looking the ocean at the very edge of the pier.

From this vantage point, it almost felt like we were aboard a ship, overlooking the ocean from the deck.

"What do you mean Haneul?" I looked at my bride-to-be in confusion.

"I mean, there's so much you have planned for today." She laughed, then sat upright once more, listing the things we did today. "We confirmed the flowers and the colour scheme and decided on the song we'll have for our dance. And then we- er... You know..." She turned crimson at the mention of our little detour to my house earlier.

"Yes, and we had lunch and now dessert. What's so busy about that, my love?" I mused, I know she spotted Tae and Jungkook earlier.

But everyone is fine. Everything is fine. And for once, we could sit here enjoying the sound of the waves crashing against the pier.

A/n: Hi guys!

Thank you for reading! This was a pretty short chapter, but it's necessary to tie up the events mentioned in the last few chapters.

By now you should know that I make up all of the restaurant names in the story, including the café Kang Seojin owns! I have kept the name significant to the character as he represents a vital character in the Epic that initially inspired this fanfiction.

Can you guess who the character in the Epic is?

Translation:

"Buon appetito, amore mio." - this is Italian for 'Enjoy your meal, my love.'
"Grazie." Means 'thank you.'
