"Hmmmm... Cat got your tongue sweetie?" He chuckled, pulling me close to kiss my cheek.
"Nice to meet you too, Taehyung. I'm Haneul." I said to him in Korean, after gathering my wits about me.

Taehyung was still smiling at me and I stared back amazed by his handsome features.

'He's the world's most handsome man!' I thought privately.

Not that Jimin and Jungkook weren't handsome. Taehyung's beauty is just out of this world.

Jimin noticed me smiling dazedly at Taehyung as he held me in his arms.

"Tae, we'll have plenty time to catch up after the meeting. Stop flirting now." He said annoyed at him, looking from Taehyung to me, then he pulled me away from Taehyung's clutches.

Taehyung chuckled to himself as he let go of me, mildly amused by Jimin's behaviour. He walked with the two of us towards the lifts and the meeting room beyond.

I couldn't help but think Jimin was a teensy bit jealous. Taehyung was just being friendly with me, after all... I was good friends with him at school too.

But I cannot remember much. For now, thankfully my headache has subsided.

A meeting room on the 7th floor.

A sign outside the door read:

Meeting in session

The meeting was currently being held by an attorney unknown to me, in a room that was brightly lit and smelled faintly of vanilla.

The man seemed a little older than my Appa and he wore the same boring grey pinstriped suit that Appa tended to wear for the office. He stood at a small podium next to a small desk and a round table.
Five other men sat around the round table all dressed in varying forms of smart casual. I spotted Jungkook, who was sat closest to the door, wearing a black turtleneck, long-sleeved sweater, with matching jeans and boots.
Jungkook was seated between two other men I vaguely recognised. One looked like a sleepy cat with his black hair curling around his ears and on his forehead; and the other looked like he was charming the speaker with his full attention.

Another man, he seemed to be the tallest in the room, turned around to face the three of us and gave me a soft, welcoming smile, his adorable dimples were on full display as he beckoned the three of us to take seats next to him.
My appa sat next to the speaker, carefully listening to what he had to say.
The room was silent except for the attorney's voice.

According to Taehyung, the actual meeting hadn't yet begun.
Softly, I asked him:
"Does that mean we skipped the boring bits then?" I asked innocently.
"Yes Haneul." Taehyung chuckled, then whispers audibly to Jimin: "I love her already."

I felt myself blushing crimson as soon as I heard his words and tried to hide my face, having overheard him. My appa cleared his throat and made his way to the podium.

"Thank you for joining us today Mr. Kim."
Mr. Kim turned to face Mr. Park smiling in acknowledgement.

"Well it was difficult to turn down the opportunity to read out the will we've all waited ten years to read. My sons were quite eager to meet the lady as well."
I blushed even more when I heard what Mr. Kim had to say.
Taehyung rose to introduce me to the attorney.

"Mr. Kim, please meet Kim Ha-Eun's granddaughter, Kim Haneul." Taehyung introduced me.

"Annyeong Hashimnikka (A very formal greeting)", I say as I bowed to greet Mr. Kim and the rest of the room, then continued speaking: "I had actually taken on Mr. Park's family name when he adopted me a few years ago. So, I go by the name Park Haneul for now."

I looked at their faces and quickly sit down again between Taehyung and Jimin.

Jungkook got my attention and discreetly gave me a thumbs up. I returned the gesture and turn back to face Mr. Park and Mr. Kim.

"Mr. Kim shall now begin reading the contents of the will for us to hear." Appa said, addressing us formally.

"The last will and testament of Kim Ha-Eun.
I hereby declare that upon my death, my only grandchild Kim Haneul, born 11 October 1999 will receive full ownership of the Kim estates, fortune and ancestral home.
However, Haneul, in order to be deemed legible for this inheritance, needs to satisfy the following conditions:
1. She studies at least a bachelor's degree in the Commerce field (or should currently be completing a degree in the commerce field).

2. She marries the seven men I have selected for her, in keeping with her predestined fate. These men are already familiar to her and their relationship needs to be of an adelphic, or fraternal, polyandry nature.

2.1.1 The seven men I have selected have been pre-groomed by myself as their school principal and mentor. Their names are in order of birth:
Kim Seokjin 4 December 1992
Min Yoongi 9 March 1993
Jung Hoseok 18 February 1994
Kim Namjoon 12 September 1994
Park Jimin 13 October 1995
Kim Taehyung 30 December 1995
Jeon Jungkook 1 September 1997

2.1.2 These men need to have already completed their mandatory 18 months' of service in the South Korean Military.

3. Each party involved is required to attend the reading of this will. Confirmation of acceptance of the above mentioned conditions are to be submitted at the reading, both verbally and in writing. The parties may take an additional seven days to decide. This inheritance is null and void should the parties not reach a consensus ad idem and will be passed on to the Korean government as a donation to humanity and contribution to the history and arts of South Korea.

4. The above mentioned conditions are effective on the morning of Haneul's 21st birthday. Thereafter, she has seven days to make a final decision and within 30 days after her 21st birthday proof of the marriages needs to be submitted to the attorney. Transfer of ownership should already be completed and ready for handover.

5. Should any individual party, including Haneul, not agree to these terms of contract, the individual is legally bound to leave the country for a minimum of twenty-five years.

6. Lastly, Haneul is to be treated as the Queen of this empire as she has Royal blood running through her veins. Each and every one of her husbands will respect her and can only touch her with her consent.

7. Upon consensus ad idem please refer to the attached document detailing the preparations made for the marriages.

No alterations of this will shall be accepted in the court of law.

The room remained silent when Mr. Kim had stopped talking.
Each one of the men raised their heads and seven pairs of eyes were looking expectantly at me.

I tried my best to calm my nerves and made eye contact with each of these handsome men. I then shifted my gaze to Mr. Kim pronounced my final decision as my appa had asked me to in his text this morning.

"I agree to the terms and conditions, wholly and fully aware of the consequences of a breach in contract. I understand that this agreement is legally binding, furthermore I am fully aware that this contract is jointly and severely liable."

This was the first part of my engagement...

Mr. Park had sent me the acceptance statement last night via email, in preparation for today. All I had to do was memorize it, which was a difficult feat with a very distracting Jimin beside me early this morning.

"Argh... Jimin! Stop laughing! I can't remember anything and I barely looked at this document last night. Now, with you standing there and distracting me, I might just blank out at this meeting!" I'd huffed at him after breakfast, on the verge of tears.

Eventually, after seeing me near tears, Jimin helped me, summarizing my line for me to recite.

"It's admirable how seriously you're taking this, Haneul." He placed a kiss on my cheek, taking me by surprise.

He then read through the document with me a few times before coming up with a better plan.

"This way, it's concise and you won't have to worry about all of those unnecessary legal terms my uncle added." He reassured me, placing a soft peck on my temple as he brushed my hair before pinning it up for me.

...

"I Kim Seokjin, the eldest of the Kim clan, wholly and fully agree to this marriage." The handsome man on the far end if the room said. He wore a beige tartan, three piece tailored suit, had a deep husky voice that was also kind of sexy.

He looked over at me, smiled and when he caught my eye, he winked and looked away as if he hadn't just flirted with me during the tail end of the Will proceedings.

I felt my heart flutter at his playful behaviour. I must have blushed, because he had a very satisfied smile set on his face as the others took their turn to agree to the marriage, signing the document that I had signed after I had given my consent earlier.

It is cute how each of these men looked for excuses to glance my way. Some of them smiled and gave me a small wave. While the others, like Seokjin, Jimin and Jungkook, winked at me, giving me butterflies.

The tall guy with the dimples turned to smile at me when Mr. Kim had concluded the reading of the Will.
And the sleepy cat-like man gave me a small knowing smile when he caught my eye a minute ago. Something about him exuded power. Though I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

I love them all so much already!

As soon as Jungkook stopped speaking, Mr. Park spoke at last.

"Well..." Mr. Park had smiled at everyone to defuse the invisible tension in the room. "It seems we have a consensus ad idem as Kim Ha-eun-ssi has wished. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding Lady and gentlemen. Haneul-ssi, you are now officially engaged to these seven very responsible men." Appa exclaimed happily to the room at large.

Mr. Kim walked over to shake my hand.

"Welcome to the family Haneul." He smiled warmly at me and gestured to the three men who now walked towards us. "Please meet my three sons, Kim Seokjin, Kim Namjoon and I see, you have already met our Taehyung."

I felt my face turn a deep shade of crimson. Taehyung is his son!

'Oh... The Brothers Kim!'
Jimin had greeted them in the lift yesterday!

I blushed even more, if possible. 'Well it's no wonder Taehyung was so amused earlier.'

A/n: So Haneul finally gets the Inheritance!

Also before, anyone gets confused or misundertands the story, I thought it would be more interesting to make the Kim line brothers, for a more wholesome story. I feel it ties up quite nicely.

In reality the three of them (Kim Seokjin, Kim Namjoon and Kim Taehyung) are not directly related to each other.

***Kim is probably the most common surname in Korea. I mean the World Cup team had about four Kims playing!

Fun fact: It is said some people with the surname or family name Kim are descendants of Korean royalty. (I read this somewhere online). Not sure how true that is... 🤷‍♀️

I liked the idea so Haneul is a descendant of ancient royalty.

Fun fact#2: I read somewhere online that Jin and V (Kim Seokjin and Kim Taehyung) are descendants of royalty! Again not too sure how true that is as I read it online. But I can believe it... I mean have you seen how beautiful they are! 😍💎💜
