Hoseok's POV
"Welcome home, Haneul!" I smiled at her, placing an arm around her waist as we walked in together, I followed her in - just a step behind.
I let Haneul walk into the room first, closing the front door behind us. My fianceé silently took in the room around her, a smile spread across her lips.
We walked past the cream and white couches arranged around a glass table. Yoongi hyung, Jungkook and I often spent our weekends watching K-dramas or foreign movies here.
Entering the hallway, I gave Haneul a small tour of the area and explained the layout of the house.
"Wow! The three of you really live here?! It's so neat and tidy!" Haneul exclaimed, her surprise was a little confusing. We were guys, but liked things tidy.
I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Uh... Yeah, Jungkook likes to keep the place spotless. And Yoongi hyung likes things a certain way too. I'm not untidy either you know." I say to her, trailing off self-consciously, rubbing a hand over the back of my neck. I'm sure my ears were red now as well.
Did she remember the time she entered my dorm room in her first year? I hope not. I was young back then. And I used to share with her idiot cousin!
Sigh...
Oh well, sooner or later Haneul will gain her memories. I'm sure she'll see that I don't leave my clothes lying around anymore.
~~~♡♡♡~~~
I walked my fianceé over to her room, which was situated on the right, opposite my own, but was next to Jungkook's room. Yoongi hyung's room was next to my own on the far left side of the house.
"Here's your room sweety. Otherwise known by Jungkook as Jimin's old room... He's really close with Jimin, so he wasn't too excited about Jimin moving out. But... His parents wanted their only son to live with them." I shrugged.
Haneul cocked her head to the side as she studied me.
"What's wrong, Angel?" I grinned sheepishly at her.
"Something's different about you. That's all." She said, sounding more like the old Haneul- OUR Haneul, from our school days.
'That's new. Dr. Min said we should look out for these.'
While Haneul was with Jin hyung, I spoke to my aunt, also known as Dr. Min, about Haneul's condition. I didn't want to do anything too drastic for our date, not wanting to worsen her condition. It was scary, we could lose her forever.
I also had to see Dr. Min about the stitches I had on my left side.
I was asked to make regular visits to have the dressing changed. But I didn't want to tell Haneul about that just yet. I didn't want her to worry about me.
"Well, I hope it's a good kind of different." I smiled at her, leaving the room to get lunch started in the kitchen that was down the hallway from her room.
Twenty minutes later...
Haneul's POV
"Hoseok oppa? Hobi? Hobi?"
I called out to him as I walked around the house trying to find my way to the kitchen.
I passed Jungkook's and Yoongi's rooms twice, so I made a mental note to remember not to turn right when walking out of the room assigned to me. Retracing my steps, I decided to go back to my new room.
'Hmm... That's where we entered from.' I silently recalled looking at the left side as I stood the threshold of the room, facing Hobi's room.
I had just finished unpacking all of my clothes and other belongings away into the cupboards around the room. I also changed the sheets as Hobi advised. He'd insisted on doing it for me, but I assured him that I'd prefer doing it myself.
I knew he had stitches. So there was no way I'd let him do anything vigorous until he's completely healed.
'Now, which way did he say the bathroom was?' I silently pondered to myself. The kitchen, according to Hobi, will be on the opposite side of the bathroom.
Of course, my fiances all had their own bathrooms in their rooms and so did I, according to Hobi. However, they also had a spare bathroom next to Jungkook's room.
I had finally located the kitchen, it was down the hallway, just past the storage room and to the left, from my new room. Clattering sounds could be heard from the heart of the kitchen.
'Hmmm... Not bad if I want a midnight snack, I suppose.' I mused. Not that I'd do such a thing given that this isn't my house.
I was snapped out of my reverie when I slammed into a wall of muscle and gorgeous man.
Oof...
Huh?!
"So- sorry." I muttered, staring up at him. Our eyes met and I found myself unable to say anything after that.
His eyes are a beautiful chocolate brown, they remind me of hot chocolate.
"Haneul! I'm sorry, I got busy in the kitchen. I'm making some garlic bread to go with the pasta we have." Hobi gestured over his shoulder with his thumb.
His eyes met mine once more, but now, I couldn't help watch as he licked his lips as he spoke. "Do you want some cooldrink, tea, coffee or perhaps some wine?" He added a mischievous wink my way, noticing how I've been staring at his lips.
"Oh, uh... cooldrink please. I should tell you that I don't drink alcohol much. I usually fall asleep after drinking most types of alcohol; wines, soju, you name it, I'll be asleep." I admitted shyly.
I gave him a small smile, looking up at him, waiting for him to respond. Hosoek grinned at me, but he hadn't said anything. Instead, he took my hand in his, and guided me into the kitchen. I stood at the counter top, taking everything in.
"Bon appetit, my Angel!" He exclaimed spreading his arms out to indicate the food on the kitchen counter, smiling brightly at me.
"I'm glad you know I love food that much." I joked, leaning forwards on the counter and resting my head in the palm of my hand as I watched him.
"I didn't mean it like that, Haneul." Hobi chuckled. "You've been spending far too much time with Yoongi hyung!" He added shaking his head with amusement at how similar my sense of humour was to Yoongi's.
"Well then, thank you. I'll take that as a compliment." I grinned back at him, feeling my confidence growing.
I watched him pull out a bar stool for me at the kitchen counter. Accepting in, I climbed onto the high bar stool and waited for him to begin eating.
Hosoek had already laid out the table with freshly baked garlic rolls, salad, a bottle of wine and a carton of juice. Two places were set with cutlery on the side.
He walked over to the panel where the stove and oven was and bent in front of a cupboard to take a serving dish out of the drawer. I noticed that he had a nicely shaped backside and tried not to notice the fit of his blue jeans or anything else in that general direction until he turned around.
But Hoseok noticed me turn my head away - I wasn't fast enough; and he had called me out in it!
"Bad girl, Haneul!" He laughed as his eyes darkened. His deep voice was slowly doing something to me.
And that sparkle in his eyes made me want to let him carry me to his room and do unspeakable things. Besides, he does have a nice round butt.
What the hell is wrong with me?!
"I don't know what you're talking about!" I say, feigning ignorance as I inspect my nails.
I need to paint them again. It's nice and long now. I wonder if I could ask one of my fiances for tips on nail polish colours?
Nah... Let's not bore them. I barely have the patience to paint my own nails, imagine my fiances!
Ceasing a chance to change the subject, I exclaimed: "Ooh, that smells divine!" I exclaimed, then I reached out to take a bread roll.
I bit into the roll and licked my lips, only realizing what I'd done after I looked up at Hoseok again. He watched me with his eyes roving over my lips and then looking back at me.
"Thank you, Haneul." Hoseok replied, his voice a notch deeper, his cheeks tinting in a blush as we realised that we both didn't have that date yet, nor did we get to share our first kiss.
This was our first anything together.
I feel so nervous just having a normal lunch with him! He's so handsome. I can feel myself turning into a tomato.
Will they mind marrying a tomato?
Argh... the shit I can worry over amazes me.
He's looking at me. Why is it that I feel so attracted to him?!
Argh! I can't even concentrate on this delicious food. All I can think of is kissing his gorgeous lips!
Wtf is wrong with you Haneul?!
"I didn't know you could cook. This is so good!" I muttered through bites of the meal. I desperately needed to change the topic, before I devoured him instead.
Damn... I'm turning into a little slut! I don't know why this started happening to me since Yoongi kissed me this morning!
Ssi-bal...
I kept chewing with purpose, focusing on my food instead of the growing throb between my legs.
Maybe I was just hungry. Yes that's it. I'll be okay if I eat and maybe take a nice nap.
The food really was good. Hobi wasn't as terrible as I initially imagined him to be. Perhaps he learned over the years.
Ouch. My head is hurting again, as is the norm now whenever I remember something from my past.
"Thank you, Angel." He smiled at me fondly, looking up from his own meal, then, a heartbeat later:
"Uh....Haneul?" Hobi looked at me suddenly.
"Yes Hosoek?" I blinked at him consciously, dabbing at my chin with a serviette I found in front of me.
'Maybe I had something on my face?' I dabbed more earnestly at my chin and now at my cheeks. I hope he didn't notice my head aching.
When I sat down earlier, I had noticed that he'd placed a small stack of serviettes on the table between us. It was a cute gesture.
But Hoseok silently shook his head at me.
"There's nothing on your face, my Angel. You'll only bruise your skin like that." He smiled a small smile as he reached over to gently take the serviette out of my hand.
"I wanted to actually tell you something else. But forgive me, I've never really been on dates before. So this is still new to me. When we were younger I never really took you out to spend time with you - we barely spent any time alone back then. She wouldn't let me near you because..." He trailed off.
"I'm sorry Hobi. I- I don't know why we weren't close- wait who's she? Did Halmoni not like you talking to me?" I asked him, my eyebrows knitting together with concern.
"No- it wasn't Halmoni, Haneul. Halmoni tried to help. She used to give me messages to bring to you and have my duty points as a prefect in your favourite hang out spots. And we used to talk a lot - you and I. But this girl was always getting in the way." He hung his head, then looked up at me hurriedly to assure me that he meant well. Hobi's eyes widened and then softened with emotion.
"It was a long time ago, there was a girl at school that didn't like me coming near you. She wasn't my girlfriend - she wasn't even a friend. But she did like me. She used to hang around me a lot back then - not letting my cousins talk to me during classes or at lunch break." He sighed, pausing to look at me.
"Eventually, Halmoni had to step in on the matter. M- the girl was really obsessed and her parents had to be called to school. My parents weren't particularly pleased either, but they were glad that I wasn't at fault. About a week later she was expelled. Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you and I hope that you understand that I cherish every moment with you, Haneul." Hoseok finished, looking at me fondly, taking my hand in his.
I felt a tear roll down my cheek as he confessed his deepest feelings with me.
"Thank you for telling me Hoseok. I don't have much of a past, but I did have a terrible accident. I think that's when I lost my parents. All I know is that I can't remember anything. And I get terrible headaches when something or someone from my reappears in my life. But-" Hoseok placed a thin, long sinful finger over my lips.
"It's alright my love, we know. You don't have to talk about it if it brings you pain. That's why we're here, to remove all of your pain. Even if you don't remember us, we will - I will help you make better memories." He was standing beside me now, cupping my face in his palms.
"I've booked a table for us at this restaurant I thought you'd like. I want to take you out for dinner tonight. I hope you don't mind." He said sheepishly, then pressed his lips to mine.
After lunch
Hoseok's room
After what I could only describe as an amazing lunch with my fiance, I felt too full to do anything else.
Hoseok and I shared our first kiss, though I get the feeling he was holding back a little - perhaps for later?
Hoseok, the kind hearted soul that he is, suggested that we play a boardgame in his room while we digested our lunch. He kept contact with me, which I found adorable.
Taking my hand as we walked to his room, playing with my fingers while I took my turn or stopped to talk about random things.
For at least an hour, the two of us were engrossed in a gripping game of 'Goh', an Asian form of Chess. After losing to him the second time, I decided that it's better for my pride if I didn't brave a third loss. I wasn't familiar with the rules and I wasn't the best at Chess either.
I stretched my arms upward in an attempt to ease the tension in my back, caused by sitting on the edge of Hobi's bed for an hour.
Catching me stifling a yawn, Hobi smiled.
"You can rest here Angel." Hobi said, as he gathered up the playing pieces of the game.
He gestured for me to lie on his bed and kissed my nose when I did, then walked over to a cupboard in the corner to return the board game.
Hoseok's room was a little dark now, as the sun moved westward, closer to the back of the house, also, given that he had navy blue curtains hanging over his windows, which were still drawn closed, it was not surprising. His queen sized bed looked comfortable with the many layers of blankets he had. I felt myself falling back on to one of his pillows, my eyes becoming heavier with sleep.
"Sleep well my Princess." Hoseok whispered, bending over me to tuck me in and make sure that I was comfortable.
"Uh hmmm... I feel like I haven't slept at all." I muttered in my sleep.
Hobi chuckled to himself, placing a soft kiss on my cheek and strode out of his room, closing the door behind him.
20h00 - The dinner date
Hobi had made us dinner reservations at a very expensive restaurant.
I felt really nervous. It was my date - a proper date - with Hosoek. I felt butterflies at the thought of kissing him, because I have been trying to think about everything other than his sinful lips.
I even dreamed about kissing him while I slept in his bed! If only he could cuddle up with me! What would it be like to have him hold me as we slept?
Sharing a blanket, with his arms around my waist. Now that would be heaven.
My legs shivered at the thought.
Hobi re-appeared in his room around six o'clock to rouse me from my siesta.
"D'you think you can get ready in an hour or so? Our reservation is for 8 p.m." He sheepishly asked me, a deep blush forming on his cheeks as I rose from his bed.
"Yeah, half an hour is enough for me to dress up. Uh... You said it was formal attire, right?" I scratched my head, wondering if I had anything worth wearing.
Hobi noticed this, and grinning broadly, he holds out a golden gift bag with red ribbons hanging from it, to me.
"By the way Jagiya, Happy belated Birthday." He whispered into my ear then placed a kiss on my cheek, but the corner of his lips touched mine.
'Goodness me...' I thought to myself feeling a shiver run down my spine.
That was so close to the perfect kiss Hoseok, you tease!
I thanked him with a quick hug then hopped off the bed running out his room and into the bathroom in my new room, across his room. Getting ready gave me a new bout of butterflies.
After a hot shower, I opened the gift bag to reveal a beautiful shimmery gold dress. Quickly trying it on, I was excited to see that it fit me like a glove.
These men are dangerous if they can buy me coats and dresses without asking me for my size!
After twirling left and right, trying out the dress and looking at my reflection in the mirror. I move the bag aside to grab a hot brush in an attempt at styling my hair to go with the dress. As I did so, I saw a pair of beautiful matching gold sandals at the bottom of the bag and tried them on.
And just as expected, Hobi had gotten the size right!
It was probably at this exact point that I fell in love with him all over again!
I checked my reflection in the bathroom mirror once more. The dress wasn't too short - to my relief - it fell below my knees and the sandals matched it perfectly, they even matched my nail polish.
Hobi wasn't as silent as Yoongi, but was also very observant and I appreciated that about him.
Just how he managed to do all this and keep it a secret, while having to recover from a deep wound, was a mystery to me.
He is my hero.
I felt safe with him.
I stepped out of the bathroom to find Hoseok sitting on the bed, looking gorgeous beyond description.
I wanted to climb onto him as he sat there, and I didn't care what happened after that. All I know is that he's teasing the wildest thoughts out of me just looking like that.
My fiance wore the most amazing suit I've ever seen on a man before. The coat was black with intricate gold foil prints and a white shirt with a golden cravat and black suit pants. His formal shoes were shiny, the leather had a smooth finish and the shoe itself was of fine quality and suited him well. His hair was re-styled.
I couldn't help but swoon... And if I'm honest, I felt my body heat up with a need to be close to him.
He looked every bit a prince. His beautiful features were enhanced by the room's soft lighting.
"Let me help you with your hair?" He offered.
I curled my hair but wasn't sure how to further style it. Hoseok grabbed one of my little jaw clips in one hand and gently combed my hair away from my face with his fingers.
He then secured my hair with the clip and placed a kiss on my temple.
"Thank you Hoseok." I said, I was stunned by how good my hair actually looked.
"You're welcome." He grinned, taking a seat next to the dresser and holding his head in his palms as he watched me apply a bit of make up to my face.
"So where did you learn to style women's hair?" I asked him, glancing away from the mirror at his expression.
"I used to help my mother, when I was younger." Hobi gazed at me sweetly, his lips so close, I could reach out to kiss him.
And I did.
I reached forward and pressed my lips to his perfectly shaped ones. He responded almost instantly, taking control of the kiss.
I parted my lips at the pleasurable feeling of his tongue running over my bottom lip, licking the raspberry flavoured lipgloss I had just applied. That's when he slid his tongue against mine, teasing me further.
Hosoek's fingers slid to the nape of my neck, holding me delicately as we kissed. I rested my hands on his chest, not sure where to hold - his suit jacket was too beautiful to grab fist fulls off at this point in our date.
A phone rang in the room, jolting us back to reality. It was mine.
Seojin had sent a good luck message to us after hearing what a disaster our previous date had been.
Hoseok, being the tease I knew he was, made it his mission to trail kisses down my neck as I tried to reapply my lipgloss and tidy up my hair.
"Hosoek..." I laughed, because he was tickling me with his tongue tracing my collar bone. "We'll be late if you do this Yeobo."
"We could always just have our date right here Haneul. All I need is you, babe." He whispered into my ear, then ran his tongue over the sensitive part of my ear, sending shivers down my spine again.
"You're such a tease! Come on, you're already dressed up and so am I. Besides....Yoongi and Jungkook will be home soon enough, right?"
"Right... But then again, if we head into my room, they wouldn't dare peak." He winked at me.
Oh my goodness... This man wanted to turn me into a hot mess right?
I already soaked through everything just by his touch. Now he turned me on and then had the cheek to wink at me!
I'll get him back. I just need to find the right opportunity to tease him.
Finally done with my hair and make up, and feeling far more confident than when I'd walked into his house, Hoseok hooked his hand around my waist and walked me to the door.
~~~♡♡♡~~~
Thirty minutes later
Hoseok parked the car outside an expensive restaurant with an unpronounceable French name.
He looked at me, breaking into a broad grin when he saw me squinting incredulously at the strange name, my lips silently pouting in an effort to pronounce it correctly.
Suddenly, I felt something warm brush against my lips, my view of the restaurant drastically changing to that of an up close view of my fiance's face.
Hoseok had taken me by surprise, sending shivers down my spine at the thrill of his catching me off-guard. I pressed forwards into him, possessively wrapping my arms around his neck.
This time our kiss felt more urgent, Hoseok's lips felt natural against mine as he kissed me. At first he brushed his sweet lips against mine gently, it was like a whisper - and then it became a question, more incessant, more urgent.
Do you love me Haneul?
Will you be mine?
Will you let me be yours?
I answered him, matching his pace. Deciding to tease him a little, I ran my tongue over his bottom lip, then I sucked on it playfully, making sure to tease him as much as possible. Hoseok responded in kind, picking up the pace of the kiss as he now cupped my face in his palms.
"I love you, Haneul." He breathed as he let go of me and sat back in his seat.
"I love you too Hoseok and I will do my best to fulfil our relationship." I assured him as I pressed my forehead against his, the two of us breathing in the same air.
I meant it.
I have this inexplicable love for each of them.
I pecked his lips and he turned it into a full on kiss again.
Hoseok soon realizes he's still holding onto the ring and laughs at himself, and we let hi of each other. His smile is as beautiful as his laugh.
He holds up the ring to face me and asks:
"Haneul will you accept me as your third husband?"
It sounded weird when he put it that way, but I loved his proposal nonetheless.
"Yes Hoseok. I will marry you." I reply, feeling my heart swell up with emotion for the man.
Hobi slides the ring onto my left ring finger.
I had removed Jin's and Yoongi's rings for safe keeping a few hours ago, keeping it in an old vanity bag along with some of the other expensive jewellery I owned. (This included the earrings Hoseok had given me previously before the theme park disaster and the chain that my parents had left me).
They're expensive and it wasn't safe for a baker to wear such expensive items to work.
(It would also be violating some health codes in terms of food safety.)
He kissed my hand, placing his lips directly over the ring he'd just placed on my finger and then brought his heart shaped lips to kiss mine once more.
"I know that everything has been upside down for us Haneul. But I'd like for us to make a fresh start now." He smiled beautifully at me.
Hoseok opened the car door, guiding me out of the seat and we both made our way into the restaurant.
~~~♡♡♡~~~
As we passed through the reception area, Hoseok stopped all of a sudden and bowed to a couple.
I recognised Mr. Kim, then realised that the lady next to him is one of your future mothers-in-law. I bowed my head in greeting out of respect, waiting for my current company to introduce me.
"Eun-Sookah, meet
Haneul, our future daughter-in-law." Mr. Kim smiled at me as he officially introduced me to his wife and the mother to Jin, Namjoon and Taehyung. I bowed my head again as I formally greeted the lady.
She looked beautiful, dressed in a classic short, black dress that suited her tiny frame well, while her hair was tied into a beautiful knot.
"Anyeonhaseyo omma." I greeted her, unsure how to word it. It's not everyday one meets one of her five mothers in law.
'Not that I could possibly meet one of them, considering... Oh well.' I think to myself privately.
"Anyeong Haneul." Eun-Sook smiled back at me then stepped forwards to hug me.
I wasn't sure what to expect but I definitely didn't expect her to like me this soon.
On the bright side, this was one less problem to worry about.
Hoseok exchanged a few words with Mr. Kim before excusing the two of us. We bowed once more politely taking our leave.
Once out of earshot, I sighed deeply in relief.
'Phew'
"Are you okay, Haneul?" Hoseok squeezed my hand, stopping at the entrance of the dining area to assess me.
"Yes, I'm fine, Hobi. It's just a little weird meeting Jin oppa's parents while I'm with you." I shrugged lightly, shaking off the silliness I felt as we entered the restaurant's dining area.
Please don't forget to tap the little star and comment on your favourite scenes :)
I thought it would be fun to add a rough idea if hoe I imagine Yoongi and the guys' house.
Take note that each room would have their own bathroom (basically an ensuite). I didn't include that here. And the spare bathroom is basically the guest bathroom.
