13 - Soop Kisses

⚠️Trigger warning!

Smut/fluff 😉

~~~♡♡♡~~~
A soop in Seoul:
Jin had driven us to a soop (forest side) on the outskirts of Seoul and had set up a special surprise for me! Now I understood why he wasn't specific about the movie. It also explained why he drove past the mall's turn off!
As soon as he parked his car near the edge of the forest, in a safe parking spot, oppa handed me a blind fold, and asked me to wear it when he told me to.
"Don't worry, I won't kidnap you nor will there be any funny business Jagiya." Jin oppa reassured me seriously. He looked into my eyes as he spoke.
I felt a deep blush form on my face at the affectionate term used and at the thought of the blindfold.
There was something very kinky, and for some reason the thought of being alone with Jin in the middle of a forest with a blind fold, was a huge turn on for me.
'I think I just unlocked a new kink.' I chuckled to myself.
"The blindfold is part of the surprise." He explained cryptically.
"I trust you Kim Seokjin." I said evenly, looking him in the eyes.
Jin smiled at me as he took my hand, guiding me through a rough path to the spot he picked.
.
.
.
.
As we drew closer to the spot, Jin oppa asked me to tie the blindfold on. He helped me tie it comfortably around my eyes but didn't let me walk with it in. Instead, Jin oppa had carried me to the place.
He insisted as there were tree roots and narrow paths he did not want to me trip on. This made my more shy than ever as he held me close to him and whispered how much longer we had left to reach the spot he picked.
As he carried me, he kept assuring me that I am safe with him and that I am not heavy (as he noticed that I am conscious of my weight).
It didn't take long for him to reach the spot and I knew we had arrived because Jin had gently let me down as he stopped at the clearing. I also could tell we were there as I could now get a cool breeze, which told me we were now at the clearing.
"We're here!" Jin oppa announced as he helped me swiftly untie the blindfold.
My eyes quickly adjusted to the light and as soon as I realized what I was looking at, all I could do was stare wide eyed with my jaw dropping to the ground.
"OMMO! Jin oppa! This is beautiful! Daebak! (Awesome/amazing!) Wa (wow)!" I exclaimed with my hands covering my mouth in surprise. I was so excited, I actually did a little jump on the spot and turned to hug him in excitement.
I couldn't help sounding like a broken record.
"D'you like it?" Jin oppa asked in English.
"Yes I do!" I also responded in English.
Realising it sounded more like a wedding vow, we both blushed deeply. I think at this point it was more obvious that we were thinking about the fact that we'd be married in a month's time.
I silently took in the scenery around me as I glanced away from Jin oppa. This place is beautiful! Everything from the trees, to the wide open sky and the wild flowers around us forming the clearing from where we stood until the base of a tree opposite us. Jin oppa smiled broadly as I complimented his ideas and got excited about each new thing that I discovered.
I spied a guitar on the corner of the checkered blanket Jin had laid out, propped against the large tree trunk. Next to the tree, I spotted a table with an assortment of lighting arrangements. And behind that, as if for safe measure, a tent of sorts.
Even though it was still quite bright out, I noticed that Jin had a spot for a campfire, in addition to the few rechargeable lights, small paper lanterns and glass jars with candles on the table, for when it got darker.
I had to admit that I was impressed by his thorough planning.
"Well it certainly looks like you've been to South Africa before!" I jested, having been there myself on various occasions.
I grinned at him, taking a dig at him about the assortment of rechargeable lights and candles that he had spread out.
"Ja, ek het na Suid Afrika 'n paar jare verlede gekuier." Jin oppa replied in perfect Afrikaans!
He was extremely attractive when he spoke Afrikaans, even if my joke had gone over his head.
~~~♡♡♡~~~

A/n: I'll save you a trip to Google translate since it doesn't always translate Afrikaans accurately.
(Translation: Yes, I visited South Africa a few years ago.)

~~~♡♡♡~~~
There I stood, rooted to the spot, unsure whether I was amazed by his versatility or embarrassed by my lack of knowledge about this amazing man.
Quickly recovering from my reverie, I bounced back into it saying:
"O, jy ook Afrikaans kan praat?" (Oh, you also speak Afrikaans?)
"Ja, ek het a bietjie geleer." (Yes, I learned a little). He said, laughter brimming from his eyes, he looked happy with me and I felt the same with him.
Then he switched back to Korean:
"In my final year, I was an exchange student in Cape Town, South Africa. And as a result, I spent a lot of time with the locals. I also spent some time in another city, just north east off Cape Town; in the North West province called Mahikeng. Then I spent some time in Gauteng, Johannesburg as well. But Jagiya, how did you learn to speak Afrikaans?" He looked at me with new found respect.
At this my smile broadened... the memories filled me up like a hot cup of tea on a cold, rainy day.
"My parents took me there on holidays quite a few times. We would often go to Johannesburg or Cape Town as well. I've even been to Port Elizabeth and Durban." I explained to him.
"It's beautiful there..." Jin oppa agreed.
"Yes, it is. I miss it." I said to him sadly. He noticed and thought to himself quietly for a few seconds before replying.
"Tell you what... let's go to South Africa for our honeymoon?" He smiled at me as I looked up at him, genuinely surprised by his kind gesture.
"I'd like that." I thanked him.
Just then he realized that we both were still standing and offered me a seat on the blanket. I did a quick search on the blanket to pick the most comfortable spot.
On the blanket, in addition to the guitar, lay a beautiful picnic basket filled with yummy foods and a bottle of red wine as well as lots of other non-alcoholic beverages.
A wooden tray lay in the centre with two wine glasses and some serviettes. Next to that I noticed a medium-sized Bluetooth speaker device.
"You really did come prepared hey..." I observed, grinning up at him from my comfortable spot on the blanket.
"Ne (Yes) Haneul. And it's all for you."
He took my hand, though I noticed the bright red blush spread across his cheeks as it deepened to scarlet in the sunlight that filtered through the leaves of the copse of trees surrounding us overhead.
I smiled to myself. And it was at this precise moment that I realized I truly love Kim Seokjin.
Jin helped me get more comfortable on the blanket before he kicked off his shoes to join me on the blanket. He poured me a glass of wine and I returned the favour as per custom. I then inspected the picnic basket, to which he sat back to watch me with interest.
"Are you happy with my choice of meals Jagiya?" Jin oppa asked me in a low, deep voice making my insides melt.
"Yes! I love everything you have here! Dumplings! Fried chicken! Ramen! All these yummy vegetable dishes and sweet treats! I love you!" I exclaimed, looking into his big, beautiful, brown eyes.
I paused looking down from his eyes, my hand flying to cover my mouth as I realized what I had just confessed to him, my cheeks now matching my glass of wine.
"I love you too Haneul. Ek's rêrig mal oor jou." (I'm really mad (crazy) about you - one of the ways to confess your feelings for someone in Afrikaans). Jin oppa took my hand in his as he confessed his feelings.
With that, he leaned over, closing the short distance between the two of us and pressed his lips to mine in a sweet kiss. I felt his lips move against mine as if he were talking to me without really saying anything. I closed my eyes, mimicking his movements and hoped for the best.
It was my first kiss, but I had a rough idea on what to expect and I found it easy to follow his lead.
Jin oppa stopped the kiss suddenly to look at me.
He was smiling blissfully.
"That was your first kiss?" He asked gently, reading my every expression with interest.
"Y- yes..." I answered feebly.
"Well, be that as it may Jagiya, you're a natural." He assured me, as his pushed back a strand of hair behind my ear, and pressed his lips to mine again, this time, running his tongue a along my bottom lip making me gasp for in surprise.
He chuckled and whispered to me: "I love you Haneul." Then kissed me as if it were the last this he was going to do.
~~~♡♡♡~~~

Jin oppa spent some time kissing me, saying that it would be better for me if I got more used to the mechanics of it. I didn't want to ask where he'd learned, not wanting to open up a dark can of worms on our first date.

Instead, after a little while of him running his lips over my jawline, and tickling me on my waist, we decided to eat.

I picked up a plate and began selecting foods to eat, offering Jin oppa a few bites of food, feeding him.
He smiled at me happily between bites of the meal and moved closer to me, picking me up and sliding me onto his lap. Oppa then picked up his glass and raised a toast to our health, happiness and his life with me.

After I shyly drank some of my wine, he pulled me up closer to him, his hands wrapped around my waist as he cuddled me from behind.
We sat like this for a long time, talking, while Jin occasionally popped a piece of fried chicken into his mouth and fed me some as well. We talk about our feelings, what we both want to do after we get the inheritance; we also spoke about how I see my life with the others and what I expect since this is so new to all of us.

Jin oppa also explained what he does at the law firm, his career aspirations and talked to me more about his childhood.

I could easily see that he's going to be a good husband to me.
And just this thought alone has given my butterflies.

~~~♡♡♡~~~
After about three hours of talking and casual snacking, Jin oppa had suddenly become more and more serious with his affection for me. I now sat opposite Jin on the blanket, facing him as we spoke.
He reached for his guitar, picking it up and began playing a song for me.
The melody was soft, sweet and light-hearted. Just listening to Jin oppa playing was both soothing and easy to listen to and the lyrics both matched the melody and reflected Jin's emotions perfectly.
He sang about searching for his love, for me. He sang about the pain, the long wait and the happiness he felt in his heart when he found me.
With every verse, I felt my anxiety about our wedding melt away. I became more confident that Seokjin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook will definitely be there for me.
When the song ended, I opened my eyes and realised that I was crying and so was Jin oppa.
I crawled over to his spot on the blanket, knelt in front of oppa and threw my arms around him.
"I love you Jin oppa."
I smiled at him through the tears and he kissed me once more.
Later... still in the forest:
Jin held me in his arms as he read me a poem about lovers and their relationship trials. I had never heard this one before, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Jin oppa was talented at reading out poetry. He got the rhythm and tempo just right which, in my opinion, had breathed life into the poem, making it seem as if it were a movie we were watching instead.
It was now getting darker; and we watched the sunset together from our spot on the blanket under the tree. The lanterns Jin oppa had kept aside earlier were now lit and hanging from the branches on the tree above us.
I enjoyed oppa's company and I was pleased to find that he was easy to talk to despite our big age gap.
As the evening grew into the night, the glass jars with candles glittered around us both, as we cuddled and talked some more.
The weather for today was perfect for an afternoon outdoors.
The stars were beginning to scatter themselves across the inky night sky. And Jin oppa hummed along to a song we were listening, his cheek pressed to mine as he held me close.
"I never want to let go of you Haneul. I always want to be able to hold you like this." Oppa whispered into my ear, then pressed his lips to my neck, sending shivers down my spine.
He chuckled playfully as I gave him a look that said: "What was that for?"
"Thank you for the song and the poem Jin oppa." I whispered to him, feeling myself begin to doze off. My eyes were getting heavier with sleep.
"You're very welcome, Jagiya." Oppa said with a smile and tightened his arms around me, squeezing me closer to his chest to emphasize his feelings.
I giggled and felt more awake with all the affection he showered me with. Looking up at him, I realized we both didn't take any photographs and I began to feel a little sad that we didn't capture any special moments from our picnic.
"What's wrong Jagiya?" Jim oppa asked you.
"Well, I just realized that we didn't take any photographs together!" I exclaimed, feeling absolutely distraught.
"Awwwww... Is that all, Jagiya? Come, let's take a photograph together now." Jin oppa chuckled, then he reached into his jeans pocket and pulled out his cellphone.
"Smile!" He exclaimed.
We both smiled at the camera, with Jin oppa hugging me from behind, his chin resting on my shoulder. The picture was perfect and we decided that it was better to take a few more photos of us together.
"By the way Jagiya..." He suddenly said to me.
"Hmmmmm?" I hummed in response, playing with the hem of his t-shirt as I thought about everything that the two of us had discussed today.
If I was really honest with myself, I really wanted to run my fingers up his shirt - it didn't make much sense to me, but it was a spontaneous intrusive thought.
"Check your cellphone Jagiya." He said, lowering his voice sexily, driving me insane. I wanted to do things I never thought I'd imagine myself doing.
"Huh? Why?" I asked, distracted by my thoughts of straddling him and running my fingers through his perfect hair as we kissed.
"Just look at it." He said, grinning mysteriously, all the while oblivious to the unholy thoughts going through my mind.
"Okay, if you insist on it darling." I exclaimed, ripping myself away from my thoughts of him kissing me, as he laughed.
I picked up my phone from the table next to us and checked my text messages.
Jin oppa had sent me photographs of today. He had pictures of the place set up before we both sat down, pictures of me pouring him wine, as well as pictures of me lighting a candle earlier.
There were also a few pictures of us together now cuddling on the blanket.
The ones we'd taken out now.
"Jagiya?" He said casually.
"Yes Oppa?" I responded to him, looking away from my cell phone, admiring the photographs he'd taken earlier - even the candid ones!
Jin oppa discreetly shuffled around, rummaging through his pockets.
But I didn't pay that much attention as I figured he might just be looking for his lip balm or something.
After all, he liked kissing me.
'Not that I'm complaining.'
"Haneul, what do you think about spending the rest of our lives like this?" He asks softly, whispering in my ear.
I turned around to kneel in front of him, facing him properly, looking him in the eyes as I replied:
"I'd love to Jin oppa."
Just then, he took my left hand and slipped a ring onto my ring finger. It was a beautiful diamond ring with a gold band.
"I love you Kim Haneul, marry me and we will be like this forever."
He kissed me with even more emotion this time and I returned the kiss, showing him exactly how I felt.
~~~♡♡♡~~~

Still in the forest:

The stars now out in their full glory, decorating the night sky as complete darkness had set in.

Looking around us, I was a little concerned about how we would be exiting the forest. But Jin oppa assured me that the car was only a five minute walk away and the path was marked with glow-in-the-dark paint.

'Oh! How handsome and smart my future husband is! He's perfect!' I swooned.

I was a little skeptical, though once we both packed everything away, which wasn't much to clear up, as Jin assured me that the tent, table, wine glasses, basket and the lanterns were hired from the owner of that plot in the forest and they would fetch everything as long we tidied up and notified them that we were leaving.

They had also provided a map that clearly marked the path from our picnic spot to the carpark area that Jin oppa had used earlier.

Carrying the blanket in one hand, his guitar bag on his shoulder, Jin stretched out a hand to hold mine.
Now that the blanket was neatly folded and in my fiance's arms, I noticed the glow-in-the-dark markings directing us out of the forest.

I looked up at Jin oppa and all I said to him was: "You're amazing! You know that, right?"

"Of course babe, it's one of the many reasons why you love me." He smirked.

I couldn't help but laugh at his confidence. The truth is, he isn't entirely wrong either.
