Nandini's P.O.V

We all were in Manik's private jet returning back to India.

I was seated with everyone except Manik. He was sitting separately, in different cabin and working on his laptop. I too didn't object. We were there in London for a week and there must be lots of pending work for him, also being a CEO and founder of such a big empire is not easy. And I am so much proud of my man. We all were chatting on random topics. Suddenly I felt my head spinning. Ughhh! Again! This is happening from morning and this is probably 4th time my head is spinning like someone is continuously rotating me in circular motion. I held my head with my hand and shut my eyes tight.

"Nandu you alright?" Mukku asked me.

I opened my eyes and shaked my head. It was good now. I was fine.

"Hmm I'm good." I said.

"Sure?" She asked and I nodded.

"Sweetheart yaar itna drama kyu kar rahi hai? Tujhe Manik ke pass jana hai to jaa na. Aise drama mat kare." Darling teased him and everyone laughed.

I glared him and he became quite. But after sometime he again burst out laughing at me. Everyone else also laughed at me. I huffed.

"Keep laughing. I'm going." I said after getting up from my place.

"That's exactly what you wanted. Haina Princess?" Darling again teased me.

"Fuck off Darling!" I said and went to my man.

I entered the cabin and saw him sitting on the chair with his laptop kept in front of him on the table.

His fingers continuously moving on the keyboard and his eyes fixed on the screen. He didn't felt the need to even look down on the keyboard. Automatically his fingers danced perfectly on it. My perfectionist!

I went behind him and circled my arms around his neck and rested my head on his shoulder. He was startled and jerked back his head. His tensed body instantly relaxed as he saw me. He sighed.

"God! You scared me." He said and I giggled.

"Aww The Manik Malhotra got scared." I teased him.

He looked at me with boring eyes.

"Hogaya? Shut up now!" He said and again started typing on his laptop.

I made a haww face as he ignored me. I removed my hands from his neck and came in front of him making an akimbo. After about 5 seconds of ignoring me he looked at me. He raised his eyebrows and I glared him. He smiled and gave me a flying kiss which instantly melted my so-called fake anger. I pouted and extended my arms to him like a baby. He chuckled and shifted his chair a little back to make space for me. I grinned like a fool and sat on his lap. I slid my arms around his neck and as a reflex his hand went to my bare waist.

I kissed his cheek and rested my head on his shoulder. He stroked my hairs.

"You okay love?" He asked softly.

"Hmm!" I replied.

"I just want to sleep like this. Can I?" I asked him in my babyish tone.

"You know my answer. So what's the need to ask in first place?" He said lovingly.

I smiled brightly.

"I love you soo much!" I mumbled against his neck and closed my eyes.

"Sleep princess!" He said as he pecked my head and continued working on his laptop with one hand as his one hand was continuously stroking my back.

Everyone was sitting in the living room of Malhotra Mansion. They landed in India an hour ago and all were tired because of the journey. So as Malhotra Mansion was the nearest to the airport and also it was late evening, Manik suggested everyone to stay there for the night. Nandini and Navya went to the kitchen to grab some snacks for everyone. Suddenly Nandini's head started spinning and then she completely blacked out. She fell on the floor with a thud sound. Navya hearing the sound turned back only to get scared. She became numb. After few moments her mind started working. She screamed Manik's name.

"Manikkkkk!" She screamed and sat beside Nandini and started patting her cheeks.

Here in the living room everyone heard her scream. Cabir and Manik were the first one to run to the kitchen. As soon as Manik entered the kitchen, he saw Navya seated beside an unconscious Nandini continuously patting her cheeks.

"Princess!" He shouted.

He ran to her. As Navya heard his shout, she got up and Manik sat on her place with Nandini's head in his lap. He patted her cheeks.

"Princess open your eyes. Jaan please! Please open your eyes." He was continuously pleading her.

"What happened to her dammit?" He shouted looking at Navya.

Navya flinched getting scared from him.

"I-I don't know. I was back facing her when I heard the sound of her falling. When I turned back she was laying unconscious here." Navya said slowly.

Manik again looked at Nandini's face.

"I will let nothing happen to you. Kuch nahi hoga tumhe." He whispered against her face and swiftly picked her up in his arms in bridal style.

He started walking to his room. In between he stopped and shouted without turning back.

"Cabir call the doctor fast!" He shouted.

He again resumed walking to his room followed by everyone except Cabir who went to call the doctor. Manik placed Nandini on the bed. He sat beside her and held her hand.

"Jaan please open your eyes na. Please love! Don't trouble your Manik like this na. I promise I will never tease you. But please tum aise darao mat na mujhe. Please jaan!" Manik almost pleaded Nandini.

Tears made their way out of his eyes. All were tensed because of Nandini and now they too were becoming emotional seeing Manik's condition. Navya came forward and kept her hand on Manik's hand which was holding Nandini's hand.

"Bhai she will be okay. Kuch nahi hoga humari Nan-" She started speaking but stopped abruptly when her hand accidentally touched Nandini's.

She gasped.

"Hey Matarani...!" She shouted.

"Navya kya hua?" Abhimanyu asked.

"Abhi her body is burning with temperature." Navya said worriedly.

Manik immediately kept his hand on Nandini's forehead and then checked it, indeed Navya was right.

"Humne pehle notice nahi kara par Manik tum to kabse uska haath pakad kar baithe the, tumhe uski body garam feel nahi hui kya?" Navya scolded him.

Manik opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out of his mouth. How could he not feel her body temperature becoming so hot.

"It's okay Manik. Tu ghabraya hua tha isliye you didn't noticed." Mukti said.

Cabir came inside the room.

"Doctor will be here in 20 minutes." He said to everyone but his eyes were fixed on Manik.

Manik just nodded. Navya went out of the room without saying anything. She came after sometime with a bowl of cold water and clean napkin.

"Ye thande pani ki patti Nandu ke sir pe rakhdo. Bukhaar kam hoyega." She said to Manik.

He immediately took it from her and soaked the cloth in the water and placed it carefully on Nandini's head. The room fell silent. All were just waiting for the doctor to come.

Tadaaaaa! A very early update. I got many messages and comments in last update telling me to update early. So here I am! So what do you think happened to Nandini suddenly? How did she faint? What will the doctor say? Keep guessing until we meet next time. Bye bye!
