Manik and Nandini were casually sitting in the living room of Singhania Villa. Rishabh had went to his college.

"Manik aaj shopping par chale?" She asked.

"Shopping?" He replied with cringed eyebrows.

"Manik please na. It's been so long since I went to shopping and that too in London toh it seems like forever." She said with a cute pout.

He quickly pecked her pout.

"Don't make these cute faces. Let's go." He said and she grinned happily.

Both got ready and drove to one of the best mall of London. They reached there and firstly went to men's store. Nandini was looking shirts for Manik. After buying some they left for women's store. Manik was looking dresses for Nandini.

"Princess ye wala kaisa hai?" He showed her a casual knee length one piece.

"Umm.. no. The colour is too dark." She said and he nodded and started looking for more.

Nandini too was looking for some casual dress. She went in opposite direction. Manik was still there. He was looking at the dresses when a sales girl approached him.

"Hello sir. How can I help you?" She said in a flirting voice battling her eyelashes.

Manik looked back at her.

"Umm I was looking for some casual dresses for my-" He started speaking but she cut him in between.

"Sister. I can help you." She replied in the same seductive tone. She started touching his hands.

"No I wasn't looking for my sister. I was looking for my-" He started but she again cut him in between. He removed her hand from his.

"Your mother." She again replied seductively. She again held his hand.

"He is here for his girlfriend." Came a furious voice from behind them.

They turned back and there stood a fuming Nandini glaring at the girl. The girl surely was scared. Nandini saw her holding her man's hand. She furiously marched to them and jerked off the girl's hand away from Manik.

"He is here shopping for his girlfriend who is me. And I can help my man. He doesn't need your help. Right baby?" She firstly said to the girl and then looked towards Manik.

He instantly nodded.

"Yeah... yeah love." He replied being scared of his mini monster.

The girl after feeling too much embarrassed left from there. As soon as she left Nandini glared him really hard. He gulped seeing her so angry.

"Jaa.. jaan vo... vo.." He started speaking but was cut by her.

"Why were you talking to her?" She asked sternly.

"Baby mai nahi..vo mujhse baat kar rahi thi." He quickly defended himself.

"Achhaaaa!!! But aapne roka bhi to nahi use." She again glared him.

He made a puppy face. She huffed and turned her back to him and walked away. He instantly followed her and stopped her in her tracks. He back hugged her. She jerked his hands. He again hugged her but she again jerked his hands. He nevertheless again hugged her. This time more tightly. She too stopped struggling. He kissed her cheek.

"I'm sorry!" He whispered in her ear.

Silence.

"Love say something na. I'm really sorry yaar." He again whispered.

Again silence.

Now this was worrying him. She never behaves like this. It was just a small incident.

"Princess is something bothering you?" He asked seriously.

She shook her head in a no.

"Then why are you behaving like this?" He asked.

She again shook her head in no.

Now he was getting scared. She wasn't speaking.

"Jaan look at me." He ordered and turned her to him.

He looked into her eyes and saw slight tears in her eyes. He panicked seeing that.

"Princess kya hua? Why are you crying love?" He asked in a hell worried voice.

She hugged him tightly. Her tears started streaming down her cheeks. He cocooned her in his arms. He rubbed her back.

"Baby now you are scaring me. Please apne Manik ko batao kya hua?" He again asked.

"Ma-manikk i-its pai-paining too mu-much." She finally replied in a broken voice.

He was confused. What was paining too much?

"Princess what is paining?" He asked still rubbing her back.

"My-my stomach." She replied.

He frowned. Why was she having stomach ache all of a sudden? But then the realization dawned upon him. It was her that time of the month. But still he thought to ask her once just for his confirmation.

"Princess are you on your periods?" Manik asked directly.

He never felt shy or embarrassed to talk about this topic with her. Same was the case with her. They were always a open-minded couple. Menstruation is a pain which every girl has to go through. Manik knows this and he respects it. He always think that women are the real warriors. Bleeding continuously for 5-6 days is not something easy. He could not even imagine what pain all the women go through during these days. Still they stay strong and work for themselves and their families.

And he seeing his girl crying because of that pain was breaking him. He pulled her even closer and hid her face in his chest.

"Baby shh! It's okay love. Aapne pehle kyu nahi bataya about this. Chalo we are leaving right now." He said softly to her.

She brought her face out of his chest and looked at him with teary eyes. He wiped her tears and kissed her forehead.

"Hum ghar chalte hai and then your Manik will shoo away the pain. Okay?" He said like he was talking to a 5 year old kid.

She bobbled her head like a kid. Manik held her hand and led her out to the parking lot. They reached their car. Nandini sat on the passenger seat and he settled on the driving seat. He looked at her and found her already looking at him.

"Bohot dukh raha hai?" He asked softly.

She nodded her head in a yes.

"Come here!" He said and indicated her to come on his lap.

She like an obedient child got up from her seat and crawled to his lap. She hid her face in his neck. He kissed her hairs. He kept his one hand around her shoulder and with one hand he started driving. All through out the drive to Singhania Villa, Nandini was silently snuggling into Manik and he kept on whispering sweet nothings into her ear. Soon they reached Singhania Villa. Manik opened the door and picked her up.

He took her inside to their room. Reaching there he placed her on bed.

"You wait here. I'll be back in a while. Okay?" He said.

"Okay!" She replied slowly.

Kissing her forehead he left the room. He came back after 10 minutes with a warm water bag, Ice-cream and dark chocolate bars. Her eyes twinkled seeing chocolate. He smiled seeing her happy face. He came to her and sat beside her. He kept the warm water bag on her lower abdomen.

""Now you'll feel better." He said and again kissed her forehead.

"Thankyou." She said and leaned on his chest.

He smiled and started feeding her Ice-cream. She quietly ate it. After finishing the Ice-cream he made her look at him.

"Feeling better?" He asked lovingly.

"Very much. But if I have this chocolate na then I'll be completely fine." She said with her most innocent face but Manik is more smarter.

"Princess itna drama karne ki zarurat nahi hai. You can have it like this only." He said and gave her the chocolate bar.

She grinned and took a bite and then forwarded it to him. He happily ate and then forwarded to her. Like this both finished the bar.

"Do you want me to read your favourite novel for you?" He asked and she immediately nodded.

He got up and brought the book. He laid on the bed beside her and she kept her head on his chest.

He started reading the book and just listened to him like an obedient kid.
After about half an hour later she looked at him.

He looked back at her.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing i was just feeling sleepy now." She said.

"Ohh okay." He said and kept the book aside.

"But before sleeping i want something." She said.

He frowned.

"What?" He asked again.

"This." She said and pressed her lips on his.

He was little shocked but still kissed her back with equal passion. After feeling her breathless he broke the kiss. He kissed her forehead.

"Sleep now." He said and she nodded.

Soon both drifted to sleep.
