Manik and Nandini were in their room's balcony. Nandini was sitting in his lap and hugging him tightly.

She started narrating him the incident happened in the morning.

"A lady came in morning with a teenage girl. Both were crying. Max wasn't allowing them in because of your orders. But then I saw the little girl's face and seeing her crying like that my heart melted and I let them in. And then...."

As soon as they entered inside, the lady fell on Nandini's legs.

"Madam mujhe maaf kardo madam." The lady cried.

Nandini was shocked. She held the woman from her shoulders and made her sit on the sofa.

"Aap chup hojaiye. Mujhe bataiye aap ro kyu rahi hai?" She asked the lady but the lady kept crying.

She looked at the girl. The girl was also continuously crying. Nandini immediately hugged her.

"Bass bass. Chup! Itna nahi rona. Beta aap batao mujhe kya hua hai? Aap kyu ro rahe ho?" Nandini asked the child.

The child finally stopped crying.

"Didi wo-wo mere pa-papa hos-hospital me hai." The girl said.

"Madam me batati hu aapko." The lady said after composing herself and Nandini nodded.

"Mera naam Shalini Kumar hai. Ye meri beti Teena hai. Mere pati ka naam Alok Kumar hai. Madam mere pati 11 saal pehle truck driver the. Tab ek bade sahab ne unhe ek kaam karne ko diya tha. Hum bohot gareeb the. Rehne ke liye ghar nahi tha, khane ke liye ek dana nahi tha aur humari bachhi bhi chhoti thi. To mere pati vo bade sahab ka kaam karne ko taiyaar hogaye. Uss time unhone humein 2 lakh rupay diye the. Aur har mahine ₹10000 bhej dete hai." Shalini said.

"Kya kaam tha?" Nandini asked.

"Truck se ek pati- patni ka accident karna tha taki vo mar jaye." Shalini said and Nandini gasped.

"Mur-murder?" Nandini stammered.

"Jii madam. Uss time par humein paiso ki bohot zarurat thi. To mere pati ne vo kaam kiya. Aur vo pati- patni mar gaye." Shalini said.

"Ky-kya na-naam th-tha un-unka?" Nandini was scared to listen further but still she asked.

Shalini looked into her eyes and then looked down.

"Raghav Singhania aur Nidhi Singhania!" As soon as Shalini uttered those 5 words, Nandini's world crashed.

She couldn't think straight. Her eyes widen and lips trembling. She couldn't digest the fact that her parents were murdered. When she got to know that Manik's parents were murdered, she used to thank God that her parents were not someone's target and they weren't murdered but today when she know the truth, she don't know how to react on it. She somehow gained some courage to talk further.

"Ki-kisne bola tha aapke pati ko unko maar-maar-maarne ke liye?" Only she knows how she pronounced that sentence.

"Sameer Khurana!" Shalini said.

"Aap ab mujhe yeh sab kyu bata rahi hai?" Nandini asked.

"Madam mere pati hospital me hai. Kal raat unko heart attack aaya tha. Doctors ne ilaaj ke liye 5 lakh mange hai. Mere pass itte paise nahi hai madam. Jab me vo bade sahab ke bete ke pass paise mangne gayi to unhone mujhe dhakke maar kar nikal diya madam. Unhone bola ki vo meri koi madad nahi karenge. Maine suna hai ki aapka dil bohot bada hai. Shalini said and again started crying.

Nandini was speechless. She didn't knew what to do. Her parent's murderer was fighting for his life, she should be happy but she couldn't. After seeing the crying faces of Shalini and Teena, she couldn't help herself from helping them. She saw Teena crying silently for her father. Seeing her she remembered the time when she used to miss her parents. She couldn't let any other innocent girl loose any loved ones. No matter if her parents murderer is in need of help, she will help them because that's what her parents had taught her.

"Mai karungi aapki madad." Nandini said and moved to her room.

After 5 minutes she returned back with some cash in her hands. She handed the cash to Shalini.

"Yeh paiso se aapke pati ka ilaaj bhi hojayega aur aapki beti ka future bhi ban jayega." Nandini said to Shalini.

"Thankyou madam. Aap sach me devi hai. Bhagwan aapko humesha khush rakhe." Shalini said and Nandini smiled sadly.

"Meri khushi ki wajah to aapke pati ne mujhse cheen li thi 11 saal pehle. Chodiye voh sab. Bass aage kabhi kisi bachhe ko anath mat banne dena. Aap jaa sakti hai." Nandini said and Shalini left with her daughter.

As soon as they left, she shouted like maniac.

"Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Noooooo! Whyyyyyy Gooooddddd? Whyyyyy?? Kyu kiya aapne aisa? Momma Dadaa were murdered! Nooooooo!" Nandini shouted and threw all the show pieces of living room which led her hand to bleed.

She wanted to cry and she knew who will give her the peace she wants. Without thinking anything, she took her car keys and drove off to Malhotra Empire.

As she finished telling him both of them had tears in their eyes. But Manik was having an another emotion. He was feeling as someone has snatched away his life from him. But then he looked at his girl crying her hearts out. His heart broke seeing his jaan crying like this. He hugged her tightly.

"Shhh shhh jaan! Bass! Koi baat nahi. Baby I understand it's not easy to digest this fact but ro kar kya fayda hoga? Haan? Stop crying chalo!" He stroked her hairs.

He kept on saying sweet things to her and after about 10 minutes she stopped crying. She brought her face out of his neck and looked at him. Manik at once captured her lips. It was a passionate kiss. He was trying to shoo away her pain in that kiss.

After feeling her breathless he broke the kiss.

"Princess Trust me if it was in my hands i would have changed this bitter truth of our lives and bring our parents back but even if I fight this whole world, I know this wish of us cannot come true. Baby I know how it feels to see your parents dying in front of your eyes. Mere parents ka to murder hi meri aankhon ke samne hua tha. But you came to know this truth now after so many years. But it's okay baby. The person behind your pain is already suffering. He is in jail." Manik said and Nandini snapped her head to him listening the last part.

"Jail? Sa-sameer Khurana is in jail?" Nandini asked surprised.

"Yes love! He is in jail." Manik said with immense pain in his eyes.

"Par Manik vo jail me kaise?" She asked again.

"I sent him in jail." Manik replied with more pain in his eyes.

Nandini frowned.

"Manik aapne use jail ky-" She started speaking but then stopped abruptly.

Something stuck her mind. She widened her eyes. She looked at him. Again tears filled her eyes.

"Manikk. Sameer Khurana was your fa-father's best friend?" Nandini asked shockingly while Manik just closed his eyes.

The tears made their way out of his eyes. Simultaneously, Nandini's cheeks too got wet seeing her lifeline in this much pain. She kept his head on her chest and hugged him tightly. He too hugged her as if his life dependent on her and it was true too.

"Our-our parents we-were mu-murdered by the same person. Humari life inti complicated kyu hai princess? Kyun?" Manik mumbled against her chest while she too was in the same dilemma.

She rubbed his back and caressed his hairs. She kissed his hairs.

"Bas baby! Chup! Stop crying please. Manik so what we don't have our parents with us now, we have each other. Manik baby, listen to me. Hum dono ek dusre ke liye bohot hai. Hum dono ek dusre ki taqat hai. Manik hai to Nandini hai. Nandini hai to Manik hai. We both are incomplete without each other. It's our parent's wish only that we both our together and in so much love. And you only said na that the culprit of our parents is in jail. So we shouldn't cry na. Manik you're my strength. Agar aap aise ro-oge to mera kya hoga? Mujhe kon sambhalega? Haan? Please chup hojao na. Please Mr.Boyfriend." She cooed in his ears.

He slowly stopped crying and looked at her. She gave him a smile while he always wants. He smiled a little. She frowned and made an irritated pout. She by her fingers stretched his smile and made it big. He then himself smiled wholeheartedly seeing her cute antics. She too smiled seeing him smiling. He kissed her forehead.

"I love you jaan." He said joining their foreheads.

"I love you too Nandini ki jaan." She replied in his style making him chuckle.

She then placed her head on his shoulder. He put his hand under her top and started caressing her bare waist.

"Neend nahi aari?" Manik asked.

"Nahi." Nandini replied instantly.

"To fir kya karna hai?" He asked.

"Umm. I don't know. Aap batao?" She asked making a cute pout.

He quickly pecked her pout.

"Let's play video game?" Manik asked.

"Video game? Okay." She agreed.

Manik got up and arranged the set up for video game. Nandini sat in between his legs. He gave her a remote but she didn't took.

"What?" He asked raising his eyebrows.

"Aap khelo. Mai bass dekhungi." She said softly snuggling to him.

"Sure?" He asked again.

"Yes!" She replied.

"Okay!" He said and started playing.

Manik was playing like a pro.

"Wow Mr.Boyfriend! I'm impressed." Nandini said praising him.

"Itna jaldi impress hogayi? Abhi to tumne mera talent dekha hi kaha hai?" He said.

"Achha ji? To dikhaiye firr aapka talent." She too played along him.

He again focused on the game. He was playing continuously for 15 minutes. Finally he won the game.

"I wonn-" He shouted but stopped abruptly as soon as his eyes fell on her.

She was already asleep. He smiled seeing his bundle of joy sleeping peacefully.

"So gayi." He said to himself. He kissed her forehead and switched off the video game.

He picked her up in his arms and made her sleep properly. He too slept beside her taking her in a back hug.
