I'm still falling.

They all were seated in Cabir's living room while the priest was busy doing his work of finding perfect dates of Cabir and Navya's marriage. All were looking at him curiously and impatiently.

"Pandit ji aur kitna time lagega?" Cabir asked impatiently.

"Bire shanti rakh. 5 saal ruk gaya ab aur thoda time ruk jayega to kya ho jayega?" Manik said and all laughed.

And then all of a sudden the priest cleared his throat as if telling all of them to be quiet as he was ready with the dates. Everyone became absolutely quiet.

"Jii in dono ki kundliya Maine achhe se dekh li hai. Aur uske hisab se in dono ki sagai ke liye 1 hafte baad ka mohrat sabse achha hai aur shaadi ke liye 2 shubh mohrat hai. Ek 3 mahine baad ka aur ek 1 saal baad ka. Ab aap dekh lijiye aapko konsa mohrat pasand hai." The priest said.

And before anybody could discuss anything, Cabir shouted, "Usme dekhna kya bacha hai? 3 mahine baad wala mohrat is the best!" He said.

Again everyone laughed.

"Jii pandit ji 3 mahine baad wala mohrat hi sahi rahega. Vo kya haina humara beta kuch zyada hi impatient ho raha hai. Navya beta tumhe isse kuch problem to nahi hai na?" Raj said and asked Navya.

"No!" Navya said slowly.

"To it's final, 1 hafte baad engagement and then 3 mahine baad shaadi!" Swara announced.

And everyone hooted and the pandit ji left.

"Achha bachho ab sab meri baat suno!" Swara said loudly to get everyone's attention towards her.

All looked at her.

"Dekho engagement me sirf 1 hafta hai aur bohot sari taiyaari karni hai to tum logo ko meri puri madad karni hogi." She said.

Then Nandini got up and sat beside Swara and side hugged her.

"Maa ye bhi koi bolne ki baat hai. Off course hum aapki help karenge. Cavya ki shaadi hum bohot dhoom dhaam se manayenge! Aapko chinta karne ki zarurat nahi hai." Nandini said to Swara.

"Yes aunty aap bilkul tension mat lo. Hum sab sambhal lenge." Dhruv said.

"Guys let's divide the work. What say?" Manik asked.

"Yes I guess Manik is right. We should just divide the work." Mukti said and all nodded.

"I'll look after the venue and decorations!" Nandini said.

"Yes Nanz you'll handle them the best." Alya said and everyone nodded.

"Catering will be handled by me." Dhruv said.

"Party Playlist, cake, and the helping staff will be my work!" Manik said.

"Guys I have brilliant idea!" Alya squealed.

"What?" Everyone asked.

"Me and Mukku will design the engagement outfits for all of us!" She said excitedly.

"That's a brilliant idea Alya. I'm in." Mukti said.

"Great!" Manik said.

"Guys wait!" Nandini said.

"What happened Nandu?" Navya asked.

"One thing is left!" She said.

"What princess?" Manik asked.

"Guest list and invitations!" She said with worried face.

"Shit! We totally forgot about that!" Mukti exclaimed.

"Bachoo why fear when we are here?"  Raj said and all looked at him.

"Me and Swara will look after the guest list and invitations. Don't worry!" He said and everyone smiled.

"Chalo to fir sab kaam par lag jate hai!" Navya said.

"What kaam? Navu tumhari engagement hai! No way we are letting you and Darling do any work. Chup chap baithe raho bass!" Nandini scolded Navya.

And Navya just put a finger on her lips making everyone smile on her cuteness.

Then everyone started working.

It was the engagement day. The hall was decorated beautifully. There were many guests. All were present except for the main couple and Nandini.

Manik's P.O.V

"Yaar ye Cabir aur Navya kaha hai?" I heard Dhruv.

"Even Nanz is missing." Alya said.

Exactly! Where is she? Itna achha venue aur decorations karke khud gayab hogayi.

"Manik tujhe pata hai kya ki Nandu kaha hai?" Mukti asked me.

"Mukti mujhe kaise pata hoga ki vo kaha hai?" I asked back.

"No we thought that you must be knowing where your 'princess' is!" Alya said particularly stressing on 'princess'.

Before I could reply something, the lights went off. Everything became dark. The murmuring started in the hall. After a minute maybe, a particular area in the hall lighted up.

And there they were. Cabir and Navya with my princess. Both Cabir and Navya were looking made for each other.

But my eyes never left my princess. She was looking so..... I don't have words. I was seeing her in traditional for the very first time. Her perfectly shaped body looked more perfect in that outfit.

Our dress color was matching. Maybe a coincidence or alya and Mukti's oversmart minds did that. But I didn't care. My princess is looking the best.

My trance was broken when I heard her voice. She was holding the mike in her hand.

"Good Evening ladies and gentlemen!" She exclaimed.

"Today we all are gathered here for a very special occasion. My Darling, I mean Cabir and Navya's engagement. So let's raise a toast for Cavya!" She said and all raised a toast.

"I request all our friends, maa and Papa to come on stage for the ring ceremony." Princess called all of us.

We all went to the stage.

"Bring the rings." Princess said and the rings were brought.

"Woahh! So beautiful!" Cabir said after seeing the rings.

"You're right Cabir. They are actually very beautiful." Navya said.

"Who selected them by the way?" Cabir asked.

"One and only our beloved Manan❤" Mukti said.

"Manan?" Navya asked.

"Are Manik ka Ma aur Nandini ka Nan. Manan!" Dhruv explained.

"So beautiful yaar! Manan! Manik and Nandini you both will make the most beautiful couple!" Alya said dreaming.

And I felt heat rushing through my cheeks. I looked at my princess and the sight just got me drool over her. She too was blushing. Blushing really red. She was more red than tomato.

"Aww look our Nandu is blushing!" Mukti said.

"Guys stop this! Engagement cabir aur Navya ki hai humari nahi." I said in a trance and then realized that maine to jalti aag me aur ghee daal diya.

"Ooohhhhh! Matlab you want to get engaged to Nandini haa?" Alya said.

"Are sirf engaged kyu? They will even get married baby!" Dhruv said.

"Bachoo bas bhi karo. Kitna chidaoge dono ko." Papa said.

Finally the morons stopped. Cabir picked the ring and was about to hold Navya's hand when we heard a unfamiliar voice.

"Ye engagement nahi ho sakti!" Came a manly voice from the entrance of the hall.
