I met you for a reason.

Manik's P.O.V

We all were sitting in Cabir's living room waiting for Raj papa and Swara maa to come.

Then we heard the car's honk. And they came. My Papa and Maa. Happiness engulfed me. I was seeing them after a year.

Raj Dhawan: 51 years old. Cabir's father. Owner of Dhawan Textiles. A very kind-hearted man. Fully down to earth. Rarely gets angry. Very joyful just like Cabir. Loves Manik just like Cabir and sometimes more than Cabir. Loves his wife Swara Dhawan a lot.

Swara Dhawan: 47 years old
Cabir's mother. A housewife. Spreads positivity wherever she goes. A very beautiful and kind-hearted woman. If Cabir is her heart, then Manik is her heartbeat. Can do anything for her both sons. Loves her husband Raj Dhawan a way too much.

"Mom Dad!" Cabir said and was about to hug them when Maa stopped him. We all frowned.

"Mom?" He said slowly.

"Tu ruk, pehle hum humari bahu se milenge." Maa said smiling and called Navya to them.

We all smiled and Cabir huffed like a child. Navya went to them and was about to touch their feet when they stopped her and engulfed her in a hug.

"Humare ghar par bahuen per nahi chooti. Seedha gale lagti hai." Maa said happily caressing Navya's hairs. I felt so happy for my sister.

Then they broke the hug and Cabir again spread his arms in order to hug them, but they again stopped him.

"Ab kya hua?" He whined like a child.

"Itna kya jaldi hai tujhe. Abhi hume humare bete se to milne de!" Maa said.

I grinned like a fool. She spread her arms and I ran to her and hugged her as tight as possible.

"I missed you Maa!" I said and she kissed my forehead.

"I missed you too mera bachha!" She smiled and said.

Then I moved to Papa and hugged him like a kid.

"I missed you Papa!" I said to him too.

He patted my shoulder.

"I missed you too my son!" He said smiling.

"Mom Dad mai aapka beta nahi hu kya?" We heard Cabir.

We turned to him.

"Tu hai par ye humara ladla hai." Papa said while ruffling my hair. I smirked at Cabir.

"Hawww!" He said dramatically.

"Shooo Tommy shoooo!" I said to him like we say to a dog.

"Saale teri toh!" He said and there started our tom and Jerry fight.

After sometime we stopped. Till the time Alya, Mukti and Dhruv met them. Only my princess was left. I went to her and took her to Maa and Papa.

"Maa Papa she is Nandini. Nandini Singhania. She is a fabulous interior designer."

"Wait! Singhania as in Raghav Singhania's daughter?" Papa asked shocking.

"Yes Papa you're right! She is the daughter of Raghav and Nidhi Singhania." I said.

"You know beta I was the biggest fan of your parents!" Maa said.

Princess smiled at them.

"Thankyou aunty!" She said and was about to touch Maa's feet when Maa stopped her.

"Jab humne humari bahu ko mana kardiya per choone se to firr beti ko to hargiz nahi choone denge." Maa said to princess. And I could see tears in my princess's eyes. She is missing Nidhi Ma'am and Raghav Sir.

"Beti?" She asked slowly with unshed tears. I know she was controlling herself.

"Haa beti! Humare 2 bete hai par koi beti nahi to aajse tum humari beti ho! Chalega na?" Papa asked her.

And she smiled brightly and nodded. Then the three shared a beautiful hug. I too was smiling. Finally they liked my princess. Then they broke the hug.

"Excuse me!" Princess said and left the hall. I knew this. I need to go to her.

I was about to go to her when Maa held my hand.

"Kahan jaa raha hai?" She asked me.

"Bas abhi aaya Maa." I said and freed my hand. I again started walking but her next words made me stop in my track.

"Is she the one Manik?" She asked. I turned back to face her.

"Maa aap kya bol rahe ho?"

"You love her!" She didn't questioned. She stated it.

"What? No Maa" I lied to her.

"Ab apni Maa se bhi jhoot bolega. Teri aankhon me uske liye pyaar saaf dikhta hai!" She said.

"Sachii Maa?" I asked like a baby.

"Muchii beta!" She said and laughed.

"She's a nice girl. I'm proud of your choice beta!" She said caressing my cheek. And my happiness knew no boundaries. I hugged her tightly.

"Thankyou so much Maa!" I said excitedly.

"Achha I'll just go. She needs me" I said and left to find my princess.

I kept searching for her. Finally I saw her sitting on a bench in the garden. I went and sat beside her quietly. She still didn't noticed my presence.

"Knock knock!" I knocked her shoulder.

She looked at me. Again her face was blank but when she saw me her eyes pooled up but she was smiling too. She hugged me.

"Manik!! I'm so happy. I got back parents love. Thankyou so much for giving me Swara Maa and Raj papa." She said excitedly.

"I'm happy for you princess." I said hugging her back.
