Nandini's P.O.V

We all were moving to Manik's room. I glanced at him. He looked calm. Everyone had curiosity on their faces when they were going to see their room. But he doesn't have. His face is calm as if nothing is going to happen. Is he not excited to see his room. I don't why but I feel sad. I feel like whatever special efforts I had put in his room are going in vain. With a dejected face, I opened the door of the room.

I looked at him. He was still looking at the room. So were everyone. I think kisi ko achha nahi laga. I was about to say sorry to Manik for not designing the room according to his will, when Navya asked something to Manik.

"Manik, hum tumhe humesha chillate the na ki tum humesha dark dark kyu karte rehte ho but aaj hum tumse puch rahe hai, please kya hum rooms exchange kar sakte hai?" She said with dreaming guys.

"No I want this room." Alya said.

"Ehh makeup kit tujhe kabse dark colors pasand aane lag gaye?" Cabir asked Alya.

"No cabir this room... it's the best room." Alya said.

"I second you Alya. Hum sab ke rooms bohot achhe hai but this is literally the best one." Mukti said.

"Hum tumse jealous hai Manik." Navu said to Manik.

Then the man himself spoke and left me numb at my place.

"Sorry guys and sorry Navya. Me tumhe yeh room nahi de sakta because I love this room." He said.

My head shot in his direction. He gave a very very very beautiful smile. I remembered his words which he said before entering the house.

I will love it.

I smiled back at him.

"Guys let's move to the guest rooms." I said.

They all nodded and we went to the guest rooms.

"Guys you all can roam around the house and can explore as much as you want. I'll be somewhere around only." I said and left all of them.

I went to the terrace to enjoy the fresh air. I was happy that everyone liked the house. And especially him. He said he loved it. I felt like I was floating in the air when he said that.

"Enjoying alone?" I heard a voice from my back.

I didn't turn back. How can I not recognize that voice. It always makes my heart flutter. He came and stood beside me.

"Nandini you did a great job. Thankyou." He said.

I smiled at him and said, "Manik, I should be thankful to you for giving me this opportunity. Thankyou so much. This project has given me so much. Work experience, a level up to my career and some amazing amazing friends for life time. All because of you."

He smiled at me. I again looked at the view in front of me.

After sometime he again called me.

"Nandini" I looked at him. He was having a smirk which kinda looked like an evil one. Now what's going on in this devil's head. Ufff!! I raised my eyebrows asking him what.

"Why did you put special efforts in designing my room?" He asked. That bloody smirk never left his face. But how did he got to know that I have put special efforts in designing his room? Maine to kisi ko nahi bola. Phir isko kaise pata chala?

"Wh-what a-are yo-you sa-say-saying?" I stammered really badly. Ohh God! Mera confidence kaha chala jata hai is ladke ke samne?

"I'm saying that you have put some special efforts to design my room. Am I right or I am right?" He teased me again.

"Esa-esa kuch nahi hai. Why would I put special efforts for designing your room?" I gained some confidence. I didn't dare to look into his eyes.

"Maybe because........" He trailed.

"Because....." I repeated.

He started coming close to me.

"Because I....." He again left the sentence in between.

He came dangerously close to me.

"Because y-you....." I somehow managed to speak. His closeness was affecting me way too much.

"Because I'm The Manik Malhotra and my room has to be the best." He whispered in my ear and the stepped back.

"Huh?" I could only manage to utter this.

"What huh? Did you expect anything else?" He said with an innocent face. Pata hai kitna innocent hai. Monster kahika.

"No. I expected nothing." I said angrily and started to move away from him.

"If you want I can say something else too." He shouted from back.

"Shut up." I shouted back but a smile crept on my face.

Did I really expected him to say something else? If yes then what and why? Uhhh! Manik Malhotra you're driving me crazy.

I reached downstairs and started looking after the arrangement for the lunch. We all were gonna have lunch in Fab5 house only. Soon everyone came downstairs and settled on the dining table. Manik sat beside me. He again gave me a smirk. I glared him.

"Monster!" I murmured under my breath.

"I heard that." He whispered in my ear.

"Good for you." I said being annoyed.

Soon the servants brought the food. We all started eating with some fun chit-chats. After lunch we all bid bye to each other. I left to my office. Now I had to look forward to other projects also. I've been too much occupied by this project. I entered the office and started working. I had some projects of house designing, cabin designing, garden designing, etc. I instructed my team everything.

I went home in the evening and slept. It was a really tiring day.
