Wait, no. Wrong story.

Once upon a time, there were two royal twins inside the castle.

One was beloved by all who gazed upon him.

One was thrown out at the first sight of him.

WAIT, HOLD ON! Still the wrong story.

Ah, here we go!

Octopuses... octopi... whatever...
Those cephalopods are known for being very, very smart.
But rather...tangled. Unpleasant.
Demented.

Remus was known throughout the storybook kingdom as King of Many Treacherous Tentacles. His sudden appearance caused many to bow down to their new leader, the kid fallen from the stars. However, this much power on an already unstable kid made him a terrible ruler. But the people had realized it too late. His kingdom inhabitants trembled in fear at his constant destructive whimsey. 

Remus sighed, looking out the window in contentment.
All was going well in his kingdom, the trees were burning all over, oil was polluting the water, deodorant production was going up despite the national depression, childrens screams could be heard through every corner of the kingdom, life was good!

He, along with his trusted sidekick, Rat, ruled over the Eastern sideboard. But Remus was lonely. Nobody understood or shared a violent streak with him. He was just too twisted. Everyone was just...too normal.

When one day, a mysterious yellow streak crossed the daylight sky like God taking a piss in the trees. Remus watched in a sudden burst of excitement, before slapping his trusted yet slimey octopus on his shoulder and taking off, despite the advisors cries against it.

There, he watched as a man, nay, someone his age slowly rose. Dressed in piss yellow and looking like Jeffrey Dahmer.

He kept his distance. It's been a long time since he's seen someone from outside the story.

Unfortunately, Rat had other ideas. He hissed at the snake man, causing the outsider's eyes to be drawn to Remus.

"Who'sss there?" SD asked, his forked tongue causing the s to be drawn out.

"Your worst nightmare! AHAHAHA!" Remus cackled, bursting through the bushes.

SD wasn't impressed. Nay, he (and his pet snake) were staring at the abomination sitting atop Remus's shoulder.

"Don't mind Rat, he's all bite, no bark!" Remus said, hauntingly chipper.

"I sssee. I don't sssupose you know where we are?" SD asked.

"Of course I do! We're in my glorious gut filled Carnage Kingdom! Welcome, o strange one." Remus said, cackling once more.

"Are you from the ssstory, then?" SD asked, looking around at the world.

"Nope! I've been trapped in this book forever. Forevers a long time. A long long time.
And you'll be trapped too. Forever! With MEEEEE!" Remus shouted, maniacally yet gleefully.

"I sssee. Well, consssidering I'm new, would you like to team up? My enemy and his wonderful friends are coming in soon."

"They are?!?! But then, the story will stop!!! No! I won't let them! I'll gut them open and beat them with their own spines first!" Remus shouted, raging.

SD smirked. He could use this.

"...would you like to assist me, then? In ssstoping them?" SD asked, coyfully.

"...do I get to kill you after?" He asked, a sudden morning star was in his hands and pointed at SD's throat.

"Yes." SD said, his silver tongue slipping. He didn't know why he lies right then and there, but what's happened has happened. Nagisa flicked her tongue in surprise.

But that was just the answer Remus needed to hear.

"You will?!??! Oh, wonderful news! No one ever said that to me before! They are all like 'Noo, spare me' or 'stop that hurts' or 'I don't want to die!' or 'you madman, you slaughtered my 4 children'. Stuff like that. It's so boring!" Remus said, dropping the morning star and letting it slam into the ground.

SD held out his gloved hand for Remus to shake, a sign of an agreement.

Remus quickly shook it and had his hand "accidentally" fall off.

"Whoops!" He said, cackling at the look on SD's face.

"Ah, well, I guess it's time to head back. Follow me, mystery man!" Remus said, picking up his morningstar and booping his squishy octopus monster on the head.

"You may call me SD." He said, gently petting Nagisa as they walked.

"I go by many names, but I'm Remus. It's my unpleasure to meet you, SD."

"Likewise." SD said.

After a few moments in silence, Remus pipes up again.

"Do they still have crime TV?"

"Yessss"

"Do they show all the blood and gory bits?"

"Not usually."

"That's a shame. Do they have car crash videos still?"

"Yessss."

"Fantastic!"

The two bad guys walked back to the burning kingdom, talking about what the world is like and bonding of the suffering of others. The usual.
