Third Person POV

It must be boring if we keep focussing on what is the next wish our Sasha has to accomplish. So, your beloved author has fast-forwarded the story to 2 years later.

Here, the scene shows the room where Dominic Williams is wearing his tie. Let's not talk about where the boy will be going soon, but description on his outfit is purely important. Dominic has worn a black flannel shirt with the sleeves folded to show his muscular forearm. His grey trousers are then decorated with a Levis' belt, showing more of his maturity and masculinity. Not only that, there is a golden coloured watch wrapping around his wrist. The clock hands are ticking, showing the time is running out.

Yet, this boy doesn't seem to worry about being late. Because such hour of time is considered early before the... oops, no, not now. But I shall tell you the boy has 3 more hours to prepare himself before arriving the destination.

With his smart and formal clothes, he looks at his own reflection in the mirror with a satisfied smile. After smoothening his styled, black hair, he blinks at himself before exiting his own room. "Oh my gosh, I look so handsome under this outfit..." He mutters in a rather nervous way.

"Ready, Doc?" A mere voice penetrates through his shut room door, which in turn leads out his toothy grin.

"Ready!" He calls while resting his palm on the door knob. "Clery!"

And as he makes his appearance outside his bedroom, another hot boy enters his sight. Clerence, as Dominic himself has called, comments after examining Dominic shortly, "You look great."

"You too, bro," Dominic admits with a thumbs-up. "You look fabulous too, I bet she will like that." Clerence has worn pure suit and tie. The colours are simple - black and white. With his hat resting on his head, he looks almost like the modern Michael Jackson. Upon hearing his friend's assumption, Clerence shakes his head with mere disagreement.

"No," he breathes with a sexy frown, showing how confident he is to say Dominic has judged wrong. "She will love this."

_____

15 minutes later, the cab car driver, uncle Daniel has arrived upon Clerence's call. It seems that the boy had collected the driver's number after the incident of when Sasha was described as a good girl. "We're so happy that you are willing to take us this far," says Dominic happily with pure gratitude when the two of them finally get into the car.

"Don't mention it, you have to thank his girl, not me," answers uncle Daniel with a cordial smile as he points his thumb at Clerence. The dedicated boy only stays silent with a sheepish smile as he scratches the back of his neck. "She gave me your address after calling me to fetch you two. And then, this boy calls me again, using the same address. What a coincidence, isn't it?"

"Yeah, I'd told you," Dominic says while slapping Clerence's forearm, earning the latter's soft 'ouch'. "Your minds click."

"Shut up," Clerence's eyes are rolling as he could only feel speechless at the moment.

"I can see how close you guys have become over the past two years." The driver comments when taking a sharp turn cautiously.

Partly, Clerence thinks it is because of her. The circumstance succumbs into silence when the boys prefer to sink into their own worlds - Dominic texting somebody with his mobile phone while Clerence looking out of the window.

The sky is grey and cloudy, which in turn matches his sober feeling at the moment. After what the taxi driver has mentioned about Sasha, the desperation to win her heart back has grown bigger in him.

Yes, both of them had broken up a few months ago. And none of them dares to cross the line ever since, feeling afraid of getting hurt, or hurting one another.

"To be honest," says Dominic, breaking the dominating silence. "I'm kind of surprised that my elementary school teacher is Sasha's uncle."

"It's a small world after all," Clerence sings with his eyebrows wiggling. However, he sighs, "I wish I can marry a girl who can love me back too."

I feel regret. For leaving Sasha, for giving up this relationship. Our relationship.

She loved me, but I wasn't there for her. She had been 'sleeping' for two months straight after the incident. But she was miraculously awakened two years ago. I know this sounds illogical and insane. Still, it happened.

I believe it started from the moment I had woken up in the hospital. Due to excessive blood loss, I was very weak and lethargic. I could feel my weakest heartbeat struggling to keep beating. Every beat was hurting me and I wasn't sure about the reason. The last thing I remembered was Sasha, caressing my vanishing soul before saying the three simple words.

I love you.

I woke up crying, though soundlessly. My tears were real when Doc caught me crying instead of waking up. He even told me I had said the most important four words which would mean a world to the girl who loves me more than anything. However, sadly, I'd forgotten about this piece of memory.

On that special day, the sleeping beauty woke up and she wanted to see me. Again, I couldn't be there for her. So she visited me with a wheelchair. Both of us had our tears streaking across faces. Doc gave us some spaces before we had a small talk.

During our conversation, we were so happy to be alive. But something was missing. Through Sasha's words, she had forgotten about some important things. First, she thought all these days she was stuck in endless, wild dreams, granting impossible wishes. But actually, she was experiencing the whole process with her drifting soul. Second, she had forgotten about the fact that I had kissed her in her so-called dreams. Yet, I did not mention these to her.

When she did the talking, I couldn't help but focused on her moving lips. The urge to taste her was strong. "Hey," there I interrupted her, my eyes averting back to her beautiful eyes. "I have an idea."

"What idea?" She asked with her curious expression.

"I think it is time for us to cross the barrier between friends." She went silent and forgot to shut her mouth. Swallowing hard, I knew my sudden suggestion had startled her, but I proceeded to explain. "Although y-you can't remember what h-had happened, I know there's still a part of you w-wanted to be with me. That part which you had caged for years." I paused to clear my throat before continuing again, she was still listening to my words and that was a good sign. "I-I'm now asking you to set it free. I love you, Sasha. Ever since I had met you in the bookstore, I'd attracted to you not only because of your beauty, but also your wisdom." I couldn't believe I actually did it. My heart was pounding violently against my chest so hard then and I even worried she would hear it. "Will you... be my girlfriend?"

Our fingers interlocked when she holds my hand. Her brown eyes were serious when they held mine. She accepted me with a huge smile and we had our loving relationship for the next two months.

Unfortunately, we did not make it through our run-in period. We fought a lot because of small but important things, and it never ended well since both of us cared about winning the tongue fight.

We were so focused on our own ego and that made us forget the meaning of being together. Soon, we talked less and revealed lesser true emotions towards each other. She began to keep her feelings to herself again, and I was the one caging the part of her back which I had once set free.

The worst thing was - I was so blinded that I didn't even realise it. Soon, she broke up with me. Both of us never contacted each other until today.

If it isn't because of Doc's Math teacher getting married today, we won't meet again.

The sudden halt of the cab car pulls me back from my train of thoughts until I heave in a slight gasp. The outside view is coloured by the grey, stone walls of the church which I can't tell the name. As we open the cab door after making the payment, the sweet sound of the mini fountain soothes our nervous minds as we make our next steps up the stone stairs.

There is a lot of people outside the church. Tables and chairs are prepared and a buffet is prepared. Everyone are wearing nice clothes.

Soon, the bridegroom comes to welcome us. We shake hands before being ushered into the crowd. As we are all waiting for the bride's arrival, we can have our food first.

I've chosen lasagna before settling down by an empty table alongside with Doc, who has preferred spaghetti showered with tomato sauce and meatballs. And then, the most cliche moment happens.

When I set my vision towards the crowd, I can see her. She appears like an angel as her dress is pure white. Her back is facing me, so I can only feel amazed by her hair which is tied to a rose-shaped bun. Although she never turns to our direction, I still have to admit one thing - she is the most dazzling woman among the crowd.

She is Sasha Shadows. The woman I still in love with. And I want her back.
