AITRI'S POV

We all reached down and assembled together in the hall after hearing the noise. There my maternal uncle, I mean technically Aathika's maternal uncle was standing with his wife and Jagan with full of rage.

"Why are you beating them like this?", grandmother asked him.

"My queen, I was so blessed to get Raghu as my BIL and Gayathri as my sister but at the same time I am extremely ashamed to get a wife like this woman and a murderer as my son", he said and started to beat them again with his full force.

"What are you saying? I know Jagan is notorious but he can never murder someone", dad stopped him by saying this.

"No Sahasra, you are wrong he can. He can definitely do anything. You know he is the one who made that fire accident in your home and he is the one who stabbed Rakshan that day with his friend. This woman she knows everything and kept quiet all this day. Today this murderer himself said this to me in his drunken state.", he said with full of tears.

Aarvik rushed to Jagan and he started beating him mercilessly. Dhruv and Rakshan too joined him. If they beat him like this then they will surely murder him. I just went and held Aarvik's hands. Pradhi and Aathika too did the same. Somehow, with great difficulty we splitted them from Jagan.

"Leave me Aiyu. I am going to kill him", Aarvik shouted. Due to his sudden roar, the whole palace got stuned.

"Aarvik he will die if you beat him once more", I pleaded him so that he don't commit any sin for which he may regret later.

"Yes Aarvik don't kill him and dirt your hands. Let me kill him, I should have done that on the day he was born. My mistake that I didn't do that yet. I kept all this while thinking that he may change one day. But no I was extremely wrong. He doesn't deserve to live anymore", uncle shouted.

"Uncle, first calm down. Aarvik you too. We will handover him to police. I don't want to lose any of you more please", I pleaded them to control their anger.

Dad and Sarang uncle informed the police, they immediately came and arrested both aunty and Jagan.

"I am really sorry Aitri. I thought I was protecting you from unknown enemies but the actual enemies were inside my house only. Thank god Aarvik married you at the right time otherwise you would have got married to that bleedy son of mine", uncle apologized to me.

"But how did he get the poison? Do you all remember the doctor said that the knife with which Rakshan got stabbed has been poisoned will be available only in Europe right?", Pradhu questioned us.

"Pradhi dear, he got contact with one of his friends who is doing smuggling and made that poison to come here so that he can kill Aitri", uncle said.

"Don't worry uncle, I don't even know how to thank you. You were protecting me all this while and now sent your son and wife also to jail for me. I don't know how to thank you", I said and hugged him.

"You are my god given child sweet heart, but if you want to do something for me. Then, forgive your dad Natrajan and brother Aryan. Everyone does mistakes dear, but how we try to rectify it is what really matters. They love you a lot. Also your mother is in need of you more than anyone, she has lost her sanity after knowing that you are no more. For every girl, after her marriage her parents will ask her to be a best daughter-in-law and wife from now on like she was a best daughter. In your case, it is slightly different. You have proved yourself as a best daughter-in-law and wife, now you have to prove yourself as a daughter too. I am sure my Aitri will never let me down", he said and patted my head.

"I will forgive them uncle, but I won't give any assurance whether I can speak to them normally but I will surely try to cure my mom", I told him.

Uncle left to his home after the incident. Grandmother asked everyone to stay back in palace itself as she wants to discuss something important.

"I have something to announce", grandmother said loudly seeking everyone's attention.

"As you know I am getting aged, I want to share the property equally among you all", she said.

"What is the necessary for that now Amma?", Sarang uncle asked.

"Well, don't you think it has to be like that. You and your brother stayed together all this while but I can't expect the same from these three too right?", grandmother questioned him.

I can't believe grandmother is thinking that Aarvik, Rakshan and Dhruv will not stay together. They are more close than Sahasra dad and Sarang uncle.

"Grandmother, you think we three will split in future. Never like that will happen. I am giving you my word as elder brother", Aarvik said.

"Grandmom, stop thinking like this please and we don't want any of your property too as we are capable of earning ourselves", Rakshan kept his point.

"You are seeing really a lot of daily operas Grandma, that is why you are getting all these kind of thoughts. Don't worry I will subscribe Netflix for you then you can watch good series and movies", Dhruv as usual made a joke.

"Are you three really sure about it? You all can consult your wife and fiancés too about it.", grandmother said.

"Grandmom, I never want the property to split like this. And I have confidence on all the three, whatever comes in future they will face it together", I said.

Pradhi and Aathika too supported me.

"So, then I think I can give the share of Mrudhu alone to her as she is living in her in-laws house", grandmother said.

"No mom, I will never accept anything from my daughter-in-law's house. You know very well I am totally against these kinds of things. My son is capable of taking care his wife", Dad said. Yea I am calling Natrajan as my dad well that is what he is. I should start to accept the reality.

"Oh really? You won't accept these kinds of things but you are thinking we alone will accept these kinds of things. I have heard everything what you spoke to your lawyer. You are planning to give away 50% of your property to Aitri right? Because she is our daughter-in-law. I am sorry Nattu, but even we won't accept any kind of dowry from any of our daughter-in-laws house. Vishwa it is applicable to you too. Don't you dare give anything to Pradhi in the name of dowry. Even my grand sons are capable of taking care of their wives themselves.", Grandmother said strictly. To which everyone nodded.

"So just for this you made this drama, how grandma you should act in Netflix series.", Dhruv went and hugged grandma.

"Dhruv I am a Disney hotstar fan you can keep your Netflix to yourself", She said and gave him a loving slap on his cheek.

"I have something to say too to everyone", Rakshan announced.

"Yes son, tell us what you want to say", Sarang uncle looked at him waiting for his announcement.

"I want marriage...", before Rakshan completes Dhruv started "Woww congrats bro, I thought you will take two more year to get married. Can't wait to have Aathika all of yourself I think", he said and winked at Rakshan. Rakshan threw a cusion at him which exactly hit his face.

"Let me complete you drunken monkey, Pradhi you should be given Award for giving him this name. Because he really behaves like one nowadays", Rakshan said and we all laughed.

"Awww Rakshan thank you so much. I am happy atleast one person in this world supports me" Pradhi chirped.

"Well I want marriage to happen between Dad and Mom again with their full consent and even we all can participate happily. Next week is their anniversary too. So we can plan for it on the same day", he suggested.

"Not bad Rakshan, it is an excellent idea. I support you and will help you in all the arrangements", Aarvik said.

"I will help you too", Aryan Anna joined them.

"We all will", Charu mom said too.

"But why is it necessary now?", Parvathi aunty questioned.

"Mom for once live for you. Just now you confessed you love dad. It is my wish to see you both married too", Rakshan said looking at Parvathi aunty.

"Let the marriage preparation begin", grandmother announced.

"Excuse me sorry to disturb you all in your celebration, but I have something to say to Aarvik, Rakshan and Dhruv first", inspector said.

"What is it inspector?", Rakshan asked curiously.

"Well you all gave a complaint to the inspector in Kodaikanal regarding the attack happened in Aitri and Aarvik right? That culprit has become an approval now. He has confessed who asked him to do everything", he said.
