RAKSHAN'S POV

My hands trembled without my knowledge when I held the letter that was given by dad. I don't know how to react to everything that has been happening. I had hurt Parvathi mom badly. She has sacrificed so much for us. She didn't even have a child of her own just to give all the love she had. But we both had hurt her more than anyone today. Even god won't forgive me for this. I am sure even Gauri mom won't forgive me for hurting her best friend. I always trusted my mom more than God. I was even jealous of Dhruv sometimes because mom used to give a little more extra care. I feel that even my own mom would've not given the love and care what she has given us. I composed myself and started reading the letter which Gauri mom wrote for me.

Dear Rakshan or should I say Sarang's replica,

I am sure when you read this you will be in an age to understand the difference between right and wrong. You are my first born and my best too. I don't know why but I feel that you will be matured than your younger brother. Motherly instincts you can say. You can curse me, scold me or can say anything about me for not being with you. I deserve it because I am a mother who left their sons after giving birth. But please don't say a single word bad about my Paru. Even God won't forgive you if you do that. You know she promised me that she won't have any child of her own as she already had you both as her kids. I swear even if I was in her place I would've never done what she has did for me. Son, sometimes what we see and hear is not completely true. I don't know in what situation you may get to know about me, if you get to know never ever blame Paru for that. Don't be like your dad who takes decision in a hurry. Rakshan do you know why I and Paru named you in this because you will be a protector of this family. Fate played a cruel game in my life. And also I know till now Sarang and Paru are living like friends because they never married for real. I have a request as your mom. Get them married with all the rituals. I didn't say anything to Dhruv regarding this because he may not be that understanding like you but I am sure my Rakshan is an understanding man who can stand up for his mother Paru anytime. You can get help from Aarvik. He will be a grown up man like you I suppose. Convey my blessings to him. I will tell you a secret before Charu Akka (elder sister) he called amma looking at me only. He was just one year old when I left the house. I miss him a lot too. Remember, a SIL is equal to a mother. Elder brother is equal to a father. Younger brother is equal to a son. Wife is a better half. Younger brother's wife should be treated as a daughter. Friends are the family we choose. You should protect all these people, Rakshan. They all need you. You are the only one who can save them from all miseries. I am sure Parvathi will be proud to have you as her son. I am mentioning you as Parvathi's son because you are solely hers. The day I left you both on her hands my responsibility on you got over. Don't think that I never loved you, I love you so much but if anyone asks me whether I should choose Paru or you both, I will blindly say Paru because she will choose you both over anyone. I love you Rakshan. Take care. Be with Dhruv and Aarvik all the time. I am sure you will get a princess who has a golden heart like you and treat her like queen like your dad treated me.

I don't know when tears started flowing from my eyes without my knowledge. The only words that were ringing in my ears are "Remember, a SIL is equal to a mother. Elder brother is equal to a father. Younger brother is equal to a son. Wife is a better half. Younger brother's wife should be treated as a daughter. Friends are the family we choose. You should protect all these people, Rakshan. They all need you. You are the only one who can save them from all miseries. And what you did for your Anni(SIL) is something no son would have done for his mother too. I am sure Parvathi will be proud to have you as her son.", these are the exact that lady said whom I saw in my dream. So she is my mom who asked me to go back to earth. Omg! I saw my mom but I never got to know about it. That time she said I will get to know who she is when time comes. Now I got to know about her. But do I have to be happy that I got to know about her to be said that I have hurt my other mom who was more than my mom. God! Where have you kept me? I don't know how will I ever face Parvathi mom. She is not even going to forgive me for sure.

My trance got broken when I heard Dhruv's loud scream. I went near him and he gave me his letter to read. I started reading the letter mom wrote for Dhruv.

Dear Dhruv or should I say naughtiest among family,

I am sure you will be the naughtiest among you, Rakshan and Aarvik. Aarvik was always a sweet kid. Rakshan will be responsible and that will be left with you be the naughtiest. You know from where you got this naughtiness from, not from me or your dad, from your mother Paru. I think now Paru would have become more responsible and kind. But her antics are something which no one can ever compete with. I am sure even you will be of that kind though your looks go with me. Dhruv, after your birth only doctor said to me that internal bleeding didn't stop and I don't have much time to survive. Then only I started writing letters for Paru, Sarang, Rakshan and yours was the last. When I was about to start writing your letter, Paru came with you in her hands and she said that you are looking exactly like me and you are going to be her favourite just like me. So, I am sure till today she is treating you with bit a high care and saving you from everyone when you do anything mischievous. My son, never think you didn't see me. Everyday you are seeing me in yourself while you are looking at mirror. Dhruv, never take decisions in a hurry. Think twice before you say anything. Once said words cannot be taken back. If you are reading this, then it means you came to know about my existence. Don't speak single word bad about my Paru. If you ever do this then I will never forgive you. Rakshan will be there with you always and also Aarvik will be there to guide you if you do anything wrong. Son, we will not get everything in our life. So be happy with what you get, who knows that may be better too. Paru is also something like that, even if I was there I would've not given the love and affection she has given you. I am sure my son Dhruv will get a daring princess who can compete with his naughtiness and also can bring him on right path. Treat your wife like a queen. I have said one thing to Rakshan which I didn't say to you so kindly help him to fulfill that. I love you so much my prince Dhruv, you are a blessing which god has given me as a bonus. I never once regret for sacrificing my life for you. You also should not feel guilty for anything. Never think you are the reason for my death. It is fate. Live your life. Take care. Love you a lot.

Now, I get to know why he is crying. Gauri mom said right. Once said words cannot be taken back. Dhruv addressed Paru mom as a murderer that too in front of whole family which can never be taken back. He never once thought what will happen to her dignity, including me. But I will ask forgiveness from her at any cost also I will fulfill my mom's last wish that is the marriage of dad and Paru mom. Whatever others think I don't care. Surely I will make it happen.

"I am the actual murderer Rakshan. I killed Paru mom's heart. She always seen me as a replica of her friend, she gave me so much love and care. As Gauri mom said she even tried to protect me every time when I did something mischievous. Today, I broke her into pieces. She will never forgive me for this. Even if she did Gauri mom will never forgive me too", Dhruv started crying continuously.

Aarvik Anna entered the room after knocking. Dad smiled at him.

"Just now mom said that I used to call Gauri aunty as amma when I was one year old. And she is the one who used to make me eat and also how much each adored me", Aarvik Anna (elder brother) said.

"She loved you a lot Aarvik. You used to be her shadow. Always going behind her. She used to say even she ever gets kids you are going to be her first son. Since you called her as amma", Dad said with tears in his eyes.

"You both really have to ask apology to Parvathi aunty I suppose by seeing you both I conclude that it was not her fault at all. It was you both who have misunderstood everything", Aarvik Anna (elder brother) said looking at both of us. I am sure even he is angry with us. He didn't show it yet.

Pradhi came running inside the room. She was breathing heavily.

"You all have to come to Paru Amma's room now immediately.", saying this Pradhi had tears in her eyes.

Omg! What happened to Paru mom now? We all reached the room immediately and the scenario is something which I never dreamt in my entire life.
