Mobtale

I landed in a dark alley with the girls and knelt down. I set them down, placing my hands on their shoulders. "Are you two alright?"

Nula simply hugged me, still crying and hiccupping. Vacía made grabbing motions to me, and I pulled them both close to me. Some instinct in me urged me to hold them close, but my common sense told me to stay impersonal. I will end up abandoning them eventually, so why get attached? Besides, the last time I got close to a child, I....

I killed them.

I pulled them away as if I had gotten burned, then stood up. I looked up to find no ceiling, but an endless expanse of greyish sky. We were on the surface? I checked the code of the universe, and I let out an anxious breath. This was the original Mobtale, and the voices still hadn't said a thing. What was wrong with them? Why were they being so quiet?!

I looked down in concern when a chilly wind blew by, prompting the girls to start shivering. Their clothes were far from appropriate for this weather, that's for sure. I put my hand to Vacía's cheek, frowning. She was freezing cold. I wrapped their black blanket around them, then opened a portal to a nearby store. There had to be something warmer for them to wear in here.

"Come on, girls," I pulled them into the portal, but froze in my tracks. A red beam ran across the floor, and I pulled the girls back. I turned to Nula, putting my finger in front of my mouth. "Stay here. Stay quiet."

She nodded and held Vacía as I crept up to the sensor. I had seen these before, when I destroyed other versions of Mobtale. They sounded alarms if I remembered correctly, and I followed the beam to its source. I carefully summoned a bone and broke the sensor, then shot one through the camera I had seen. Now we won't raise as much suspicion.

I went back over to Nula and Vacía. "Alright, you can look around now."

I followed them closely as they ran around the store, looking at all the clothes and jewelry. Nula pointed to a headband with a lavender flower on it, then a similar one with an orange flower. I brought them down for her and Vacía to look at, and she tried the lavender one on. She put the orange one on her sister's head, then beamed up at me.

"F- flo- flowers!"

I chuckled, then patted her head. "Good job, Nula! Let's go find some warmer clothes."

I led them over to some dresses and sweaters, and Nula pointed excitedly at the lavender one with jeweled flowers on the hem. I brought it down for her, then pulled an orange one with puffy sleeves down for Vacía. I helped them into the dresses, then put the sweaters on. I stuffed the blanket and the old clothes in the duffle bag. I opened a portal and picked up Vacía, holding my hand out for Nula. She took it, and we stepped into the street.

The sun began its lazy ascent into the sky, banishing the darkness of night. With it, the citizens seemed to pop out of thin air, hurrying down the increasingly busier streets. I held Vacía closer as the humans and monsters passed us by, glaring at anyone who looked too long. I scanned the area in search of threats, constantly darting my eyelights to any sudden movements or dark alleyways.

Nula looked around excitedly. There was so much to explore! All the pretty sights and sounds were the stuff dreams were made of! Never in her wildest imaginations did she think that this was what the surface looked like! She had heard the man who speaks in hands talking to the other mean monsters, telling them of what the surface had been like. She heard there would be no dark ceiling above them, and that the air would be light and refreshing. Nothing like the underground. It was all so new and bright!

She gasped when she saw a display full of flowers, all different colors and sizes and shapes. She ran over to them, marveling at the sight.

I felt Nula's hand slip from mine, and I looked to where she had gone. She ran to a display of flowers on a corner, far from me. I went to follow her, my soul beating faster nervously. My blood boiled when a gigantic dog monster stalked up to Nula, and I started running.

"Hello there."

Nula jumped and whirled around. A tall monster stood behind her, and she backed up into the flower display. She shook in fear when he smiled down at her.

"What's a cute lil thing like you doing out here all alone?~" He advanced toward her, and her eyelights darted every direction for a way to escape him. She tried to dodge around him, but he stomped his huge foot in front of her. Her eyesockets brimmed with tears, and she screamed.

"Daddy!"

Suddenly, a black blur materialized in the corner of her vision. The dog monster's head jerked from the fist that connected with his jaw, and he was sent flying into the street. He landed onto the pavement and looked up, his beady eyes widening as a car barreled toward him. The car's wheels screeched as it tried to stop, but it was too late. A sickening crunch rang out as the car ran him over, leaving a trail of blood and dust behind.

"D-Daddy," Nula sobbed out, burying her face in my coat. I glared at where the monster who threatened her had met his end, nodding in satisfaction. I knelt down to her level, giving her a stern look.

"Nula! Don't ever do that again!"

She looked up at me with tears streaming down her face, then lowered her head in shame. "I-I sowry, D-Daddy...."

My soul gave a painful lurch from the heartbreaking misery in her voice, and I sighed. Gathering her in my arms, I rubbed her back in a manner I hoped was soothing. "I-it's ok, Nula. Just please, stay by me, next time."

She sniffled, hugging me back. "O-ok, Daddy."

A shadow passed over us, and I looked up. I slowly stood up, holding the girls closer as the Toriel of the universe approached us. I subconsciously looked around her, knowing if she was here, the Judge of the universe wasn't too far behind. For all I knew, she was the Judge.

"Oh, thank goodness," Toriel exclaimed, putting a hand to her chest in relief. She had been out early to shop for some last-minute supplies, and had been idly looking through the flower displays when she caught sight of a very young skeleton. The little one looked no older than five, and was dressed in very impressive clothing. Toriel's soul had dropped when a tall dog monster she didn't recognize approach the little one, and the skeleton had been cornered. She was about to step in, maybe scare the dog away with a fireball, but another, much taller skeleton had thrown the dog into the street with a well-placed punch, and that was the end of him.

Toriel's motherly instincts had kicked in, and she was about to ask the little skeleton if they were alright, but she had to suppress a gasp of shock and concern when she saw the state the older skeleton was in. What she could see of his head was encrusted with old scars that looked they had been painful wounds. His coat was ratty and torn, his shirt and shorts were singed and shredded, and his sneakers had clear holes and tears in them. The only thing that seemed to be in good condition was the bright blue scarf he wore. She realized she had been staring, and stepped up to introduce herself.

"Hello," her friendly smile became strained when she met the wild and suspicious eyelights of the stranger, but she kept her voice level. "My name is Toriel. What are your names?"

I kept silent, studying the goat monster carefully. Usually, a Toriel Judge is dressed in a hoodie, but she wasn't wearing one. I mentally facepalmed when I remembered this was the original Mobtale, which meant she was just the Caretaker. Could she make a good parent for the girls, then? I felt an ache in my soul at the prospect, but I had known this wouldn't last forever. I could get them hurt, maybe killed, and the image that thought invoked made me feel sick. I shook myself out of my thoughts, then answered warily.

"I'm Error. This is Nula, and this is Vacía." I nodded to each of the babybones, studying Toriel carefully.

Toriel held in a wince at the sound of the stranger's voice. She likened it to a computer that had gone through a blender, though she didn't dare to entertain such unflattering thoughts. She noticed the youngest, Vacía, was eyeing her curiously, but her eyesockets were drooping. They all must be tired.

"So, Mister Error," she said conversationally, "are you new in town? I could direct you to where you want to go if you're lost." The three skeletons in front of her needed more than directions in her opinion, but she figured she would try to help, anyway. What Error said next, however, raised more concerns.

"Oh, uh... w-we were gonna... go...." I looked around for a suitable direction to go if only to lie and avoid a potential encounter with anyone who knew me, but no matter where I looked, it all looked the same. I didn't know where to go, nor could I just hand the girls over to Toriel. Not after I just saved Nula from what I guessed was some monster who planned on hurting her. I snapped my head back to Toriel when she sighed.

"I see," her face fell, but she brightened up when an idea hit her. "Why don't you join me for breakfast? It would be no trouble at all!"

I backed up half a step. "N-no, we're fine-"

"I insist. Please, the young ones look like they could use a rest and a hot meal."

I looked down at Vacía, who had started to fall asleep in my arms, then to Nula. She had hidden under as much of my short coat as she could, clinging to my leg and warily looking up at Toriel. She hid her face when the goat monster smiled down at her gently. I sighed, then looked up at Toriel. Maybe I could convince her to take in the girls. I couldn't take them back to their AU, not while they were too young to fend for themselves. The same instinct that had protested against leaving them cried out again, louder this time, to keep them. I tried to dismiss it like I had before, but it sent shockwaves of pain through my body, making my legs feel weak.

'I can't keep them!' I reminded myself. 'They will be safer without me! I can't just leave them in the Anti-Void and hope nobody looks for them while I do my job! I'd be leaving them there, all alone, with no escape! Besides, I'm not a good person. I've killed children! I should just leave them with Toriel. She'll take care of them. She'll be a better parent than I could ever be.'

With fragile resolve that I could feel slipping, I hesitantly nodded. "I guess it won't hurt if we stay a little while...."

"Excellent!" Toriel turned and began walking. "Follow me!"

We went through a maze of streets, down one after another that looked similar to the last one. How she managed to get where she wanted to go without getting lost was beyond me. This time, Nula gripped my hand firmly, and I made sure she wouldn't wander off. She seemed to know what I was thinking, and kept as close to me as she could. My thoughts wandered as I followed her. How could I convince her to take on the babybones? She'd probably think of me as a terrible person for dumping two kids on her without warning, but I could live with that. I knew I wasn't able to care for them, no matter how much I wanted to keep them, but it was hard convincing myself that. I knew when the voices came back, I would start lashing out and hurting them, and I tried to steady my breathing as the images of what I'd done flashed through my mind.

Soon, we arrived in the suburbs. Toriel stopped at a quaint, little cottage at the end of the drive. She opened the door and held it as we entered, then shut it behind us. There was a large couch to our right, and two rocking chairs to our left. A dining table was set up toward the back of the room, with a door right next to it that led to a bathroom. The kitchen opened from a doorway to the left, letting in the light of the rising sun through the curtained windows.

"Here, make yourselves comfortable. I'll go start on breakfast!" Toriel went into the kitchen with her groceries. As she put them away, she couldn't help but sneak a glance at her guests. Error was settling onto the couch with his kids, being careful not to wake up his youngest. At least, she assumed they were his kids. She hadn't wanted to believe the worst of Error after he had saved Nula from potentially being dragged away, especially after he had agreed to come to her house. If he had kidnapped these little girls, Toriel would most certainly take issue with that! They did seem like they came from a rich family. He might be looking to ransom them, seeing as how he looked desperate. But if he did, why would he willingly follow a stranger to their house if he was on the run with them? Maybe he thought he was going to be able to overpower her and hide in her house for awhile? The thought made Toriel uneasy, but she quickly dismissed the thought. She had other guests arriving for lunch, so unless he could take on all her friends, he chose the wrong house to use as his hideout.

Still, the way Error treated them, the way he handled almost losing Nula, hinted at a protectiveness that Toriel could identify with. She almost laughed out loud at the idea this glitchy skeleton could be similar to herself, but figured it was only natural if this skeleton was indeed the parent or guardian of the two babybones. Perhaps they were adopted, that would make sense. He clearly doted on the girls, though. She could imagine how much it must have cost him to purchase such expensive clothing-!

She paused as she opened the refrigerator, lowering her head for a moment. Oh. Considering how bad a shape his own clothes were in, it would be reasonable to assume he'd stolen all of it. She might be against stealing, but if it was for the greater good of a child, she could get carried away in trying to meet the child's needs. Even if it meant removing them from a potentially hostile situation. She had noticed the scuff marks on Nula's and Vacía's cheekbones, and decided that, if Error was the one hurting them, she wouldn't let him leave her house alive.

She shook her head firmly. Enough of that train of thought. She was reading too far into what might simply be an adoptive father taking care of his kids. She should leave those thoughts alone for now, and focus on breakfast.

I eased myself into a more comfortable position, making sure Vacía wouldn't fall. She was sleeping now, exhausted from the day's adventures. I winced as Nula curled up to me, her body bumping into a rib that hadn't healed yet. I gently wrapped my arm around her as she got comfortable, holding her closer as she drifted off to sleep. I wish I knew more about how to take care of them, at least until I could convince someone to take them. I needed to find a safe place for them to live before Tentacles caught up to me. He would try to kill me, and the girls might get caught in the crossfire! I couldn't let that happen, no matter how I felt about being their temporary guardian.

"Oh, they're alseep," came Toriel's soft whisper from the entrance to the kitchen. She had peeked in to find both of the girls snuggled into my arms, and smiled. She walked in, taking care not to wake the girls. "Perhaps we should wait on breakfast until they've slept awhile, hmm?"

I shrugged, and immediately regretted the action. A sharp pain rocketed up through my shoulder to my neck, and I winced as the dull throb subsided slightly. I groaned softly, then stiffened when Vacía stirred. Luckily for me, she only yawned and snuggled closer, and I breathed out in relief. I looked up to find Toriel giving me a strange look with an unreadable expression.

"There are some medical supplies in the bathroom," she said quietly, pointing to the door. "You are free to use them if you need to. I can watch the kids."

I looked down to the girls, realizing Nula wasn't asleep. Her big, white eyelights met mine expectantly, a hint of fear making them sparkle. I didn't think I needed to use any medical supplies, but I could tighten the wraps I had on my ribs so they can repair themselves. I knew I could trust Toriel, so the girls should be safe for a few minutes. "Nula, I'll be right back, ok? Watch your sister for me."

"Ok, Daddy," she said softly. I carefully laid Vacía in her lap, and Nula held onto her tightly. Once I was sure they would be ok, I went into the bathroom and shut the door, beginning to look over my injuries.

Meanwhile....

Skull, Mobtale Sans, and his brother Sniper, were following Undyne, Alphys, and Asgore on their way to Toriel's house. Little Pup, a human child they'd adopted, trailed behind them, skipping along without a care in the world. Skull had been stressed out for hours, having heard from the Sun Kingdom that a new AU had popped up. To make things worse, this new AU was a Fell universe, which meant more aggressive inhabitants, and probably another addition to the Moon Kingdom if they could persuade the new universe to their side. It's been two years since peace had settled on the multiverse, but that didn't make it any less unnerving when a new AU was formed. They hadn't seen a new one since the Quantumtale Kids had been discovered, and since they were kids, their universes had claimed neutrality in the war. Neither side had bothered with their AUs anyway, since they were too busy trying to gain ground on the other. It had ended in a stalemate, which led to an armistice being signed.

Now, this new universe had been discussed at the meeting Skull had just returned from. He had been curious about meeting the inhabitants before either Kingdom could get to them, but Sumi and Comic, the Sanses from Inktale and Undertale respectively, had gotten there, first. And from their description, maybe it was better he hadn't gone to try and convince the new people to plead neutrality. Due to Sumi's capricious memory, Comic had filled them all in on the situation, and it was a dire one. A strange skeleton had left the AU entirely after brutally murdering the Gaster of the AU, taking the two young skeletons they assumed were the Sans and Papyrus with them. Problem is, they had no idea where the trio had gone, and no information to go off of as to where to look for them. If the oldest between the three was able to hop between universes, and if their powers were any indication on how dangerous they were, it's possible a threat had entered the multiverse. Every AU was now on high alert for the stranger, even the neutral ones, searching for someone they feared, but wanted to understand.

For now, though, Skull was content with chilling in his AU. Undyne had gotten impatient, so they all headed for Toriel's early. In reality, Undyne practically dragged them all the way there, but they were all eager for a visit for old times' sake. He just hoped that Toriel would be ok with that.

Speaking of whom, Toriel sat down in one of the rocking chairs opposite the couch the girls were sitting in, her eyes trained on them as Vacía slept in her sister's arms. Nula looked tired and scared, and Toriel's motherly instincts pleaded with her to gather them both up in her arms and rock them both to sleep peacefully. She held herself back, though. Her plan had worked, and Error had unwittingly allowed her to start asking questions. She was already starting to think that her wariness of the glitchy skeleton may have been unfounded, but she had to sure the girls weren't in any danger.

"Little one," she started, prompting Nula to look up at her, "where is your mother?"

Nula's brows furrowed, and she tilted her head in confusion. "What 'mother'?"

'Oh dear,' she thought. 'This doesn't sound good.' "Your mother is the one who helped make you. They should be helping take care of you."

Nula remained silent for a moment. This... 'mother', helped make Nula and Vacía? Was it someone from the Lab they were created in? If so, then she wanted nothing to do with them. She vehemently shook her head, a fierce look in her eyelights. "No, no mother. Only Daddy."

Toriel mouthed an "o" and looked down. So the mother abandoned them. And Error must've found them and taken them in. She felt a bit better about this now, since this meant Error wished no harm on these children. She wondered if Error was in fact their father, then, and the mother, or perhaps the other father, had left him to take care of these two lovely, little girls. Maybe it was for the best. At least Error cared.

Her head snapped to the door when she heard a knock. She carefully got up and crept up to it, her mind racing. Who could be calling at this hour? She looked through the peephole, summoning a ball of fire just in case, then scoffed and shook her head in amusement. She should've known her guests would be all too eager to see her after she stayed low for a few years. She'd been trying to stay out of the mob business after breaking ties with her former husband, Asgore, which meant she'd avoided contact with her other friends as well. She regretted that part, but not the other things she disapproved of in Asgore's line of work. She didn't mind seeing them now, as early as they were for their luncheon, but she hoped the presence of others wouldn't alarm her other, unexpected guests.

"Hello, all of you!" she said, opening the door with a smile. She put a finger to her lips to silence them, then stepped aside for them to enter. "Come in, but please, not too much noise. There are children trying to sleep."

She led them inside, and Undyne was the first to notice Nula and Vacía. Nula's eyesockets widened in fright as the tall stranger approached her and her sister. What if they try to hurt her?! Should she call for help?! She wanted Daddy to save her like he did with the dog monster, but screaming would wake up her sister. She flinched and held Vacía closer as the fish monster knelt down in front of her.

"Hey, where'd you two come from?" Undyne muttered. She looked back at Skull and Sniper. "Hey guys! Thoughtcha said you were the only skeletons 'round these parts."

Skull scratched his head in confusion when he spotted them. "I thought so, too. That's weird...."

Turning back to the babybones, Undyne grinned her toothy grin. Nula shook in fear, pressing her body further into the couch. Before she could decide to scream, her sister stirred in her arms, disturbed by Nula's shaking. Vacía opened her eyesockets and began to cry, the unfamiliar faces surrounding her scaring her. Undyne frowned and reached a hand out.

"Hey, it's ok! I won't hurtcha!"

This distressed Vacía more, and she cried louder as Nula tried to calm her.

Meanwhile, I stood before a mirror and took of my coat and shirt. I grimaced at the bandaged ribs that had fallen out of their bindings. I started retying them, hissing as they rubbed against each other. I would have thought that, through the centuries of fighting and sustaining injury after injury, I'd have become used to the pain by now. I guess my pain tolerance isn't as high as I thought.

I glanced back at the mirror, sighing at the tired eyelights that looked back at me. Despite everything, it's still me, right? Still the same crazy killer that I used to be. Or am I? I didn't know, anymore. It didn't change what I've done. If I have changed, nobody will believe me if I tell them. I tried once, but they didn't listen. And I took my anger out on them, which probably convinced them that I haven't changed. What difference did it make? I couldn't stop destroying until Inky stopped creating anyway, so who cares if I'm not the same person as I was before?

I closed my eyesockets, focusing on the static that permeated the air around me. It was calming, soothing, and I could feel myself relax. It was so nice not having the voices scream until my hearing ceased to exist. But I knew this was only temporary. They would go back to tormenting me sooner or later, just like they always did. For as long as I could, I would enjoy the silence.

But it was short lived.

My eyesockets snapped open when I recognized the frightened cries of Vacía, and I burst out of the bathroom. I saw the Undyne of this AU reaching a hand out like she was going to do something to the girls, and I sprinted over. I grabbed Undyne's hand in a grip like steel, and glared down at her. Gritting my teeth, I spoke.

"Don't. You. Dare."

A fear unlike anything I've ever seen in an Undyne made her freeze, and she gulped. I let her go, ignoring the horrified looks I was getting, and pulled the girls into my arms. I backed away, scanning the occupants of the room, until I saw Sans. I snarled at him, trying to seem more intimidating even as my soul sped up in fear. He'll tell Tentacles where I am! Nula and Vacía will be in danger!

Toriel held her hand over her mouth in shock as her eyes riveted over the state Error was in. His ribs were wrapped in glowing strings, but they were cracked and seemed extremely fragile despite their bindings. They looked like they could snap off at any moment, and she wondered what on earth could possibly have happened to him that he was practically falling apart. She glanced to the others and saw they were all equally distraught with the state this skeleton was in. Whatever trouble he'd gotten into, it was a miracle he had survived. Alphys went over to help Undyne up, which snapped them all out of their shocked daze. Toriel cleared her throat, then tried for a hesitant smile.

"W-well, I-I think it's time I start on brunch. Alphys, Undyne, would you help me, please?" The two nodded, eager to stay far away from the skeleton who looked like he wanted to fight them. They followed her into the kitchen, casting apologetic glances to the guys and Lil Pup. They looked from the ladies to the kids in the strange skeleton's arms, then waved at them. Vacía hiccupped made a grabbing motion, trying to wave back. Nula simply hid herself away, wrapping her arms around her Daddy.

I flicked a glance to the kitchen as the ladies left, then snapped my gaze back to the others who'd stayed. They all looked completely dumbfounded, which confused me, but my thoughts were broken when the Sans cleared his throat. I flinched as he slowly and clumsily made his way to the rocking chair, sitting down without a single sudden movement.

"U-uh, wh-why don't we sit down a-and get ta know each other, Mister...?"

I blinked in surprise. That's... odd. Does he not recognize me? That doesn't make any sense! I remember being ambushed by him and his brother when I was destroying another Mobtale, and they had shot me with tranquilizer after tranquilizer until I couldn't move anymore. They had thrown my limp body into an outlet from a dam, and I floated downriver until I could move again. So, why didn't he remember me? I held the girls closer as Asgore sat down carefully. He smiled, and I guessed he was trying to seem less threatening. With that tiny spark of friendliness, I complied with their request to sit down. I held the girls to me as they shifted around to get comfortable, tense and nervous about this whole situation.

"My name's Asgore," the goat monster offered. "What's yours?"

"Error." I watched them all visibly cringe from the sound of my voice, except the human child. They came up to me, their attention on my- no, the girls. Once again, they waved to Nula and Vacía.

"H-hi!"

Nula hid her face against her Daddy's chest, but turned back slightly to study the human before her. This creature didn't look like any monster she'd ever seen. They were about the same size as she was, with hazel eyes and a weird... hat on their head. It moved with them like it was made of liquid, and she stared at it curiously. Such a weird creature.

Vacía noticed Lil Pup, and cooed at them. She giggled at the shiny locket hanging around their neck, and made grabbing motions toward it. Lil Pup laughed and held it up for her, and she took it eagerly, turning it around in her hands as the light from the windows caught the tiny engravings on it. So pretty!

I continued watching the others warily. Sans could call for backup any minute, and I would have to open a portal to safety at a moments' notice. It was only a matter of time before I was caught, anyway. Tentacles will be furious, and he'll be here first. If Inky survived, he'd be here next. If he was dead though, Tentacles' rage would increase tenfold.

I looked to Alphys, who entered the living room with a jar full of monster candy. She came up to me, and nervously offered me a piece. "H-here, i-it'll h-h-help you h-heal up."

I eyed it suspiciously, glancing over at Sans every few seconds. His expression never changed from the anxious and awkward look he'd worn since he's seen me, and it made my own anxiety skyrocket. Maybe he's shocked I'm still alive, even after nearly the entire multiverse had tried to kill me. I don't remember seeing many Mobtale residents involved, so maybe he didn't know I was still alive. Either way, it seemed nothing can kill me. I took a piece of the candy, then handed it to Nula. I didn't need it anyway, but it was no use telling them that.

Nula looked it over, then popped it in her mouth. She smiled up at me gratefully, and I grinned back at her, the instinct within me satisfied with her content smile. My grin faded to a scowl at the others in the room, the atmosphere shifting to a calmer one. My brows furrowed as the others relaxed, and I tensed, never taking my eyelights off of Sans. They were acting off, which was new. Anything new was dangerous, I knew, and I kept myself ready for a fight.

Skull sweated under the stranger's harsh gaze, wondering what in hell he'd done to piss him off. Out of all the AUs in existence, why did it have to be his?! Welp, at least they knew where the new AU's missing codes, which technically were now outcodes, had gone to. However, due to the black-boned skeleton's ability to jump between AUs, they could easily lose him again. It would be next to impossible to find him again; it was a miracle he just so happened to be in Skull's home town in the first place! And what's worse, if the reports were to be believed, this was a dangerous monster strong enough to take out a platoon of monster soldiers, as well as a Royal Scientist. That made him a threat to Skull's friends and family, but he knew he had to think about this rationally. There was an entire kingdom that specialized in recruiting powerful, but crazy, monsters. They stood the best chance at reaching a peaceful resolution to a conflict with this skeleton, or so he hoped. The situation could also blow up in their faces, and his AU could get caught in the crossfire.

Skull decided that while everyone was eating, he'd sneak off to warn the two Kings and tell them that the Errortale Sans lookalike was in his AU. Surely they could keep things under control, and his AU wouldn't suffer any extensive damage. He just hoped things didn't all go to shit as soon as he slips away.
