Chapter 29
Alton looked at Cody after he said that and gave a small smile. That's when Alton decided to just let Cody know something else. "I will not be training with you mind, I am in the morning and you will be in the Night time. Around 9:30 pm is the time for night time training and then it will last around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Right captain?" Alton said while getting ready to go back to practice.
"Yes sir!" The Captain replied.
That's when Cody looked really sad at that sort of news. "B-but why can't I train with you sir?" Cody asked him.
Alton looked at him and gave a small laugh at his words. "Because if we train together it is more of a chance that my father will notice us and I don't need that right now. I don't want him to know this." Alton said while swinging his swords to attack his opponent.
After a few minutes later thats when the training session ended. Alton was walking towards the entrance of the estate, Clayton walking behind him when they had to stop as there was a certain lady standing there.
"Lady Isabella?" Clayton asked rather quietly.
"And just where have you two been?" Isabella asked them.
Alton looked at her rolled her eyes while walking away and around her. "It's none of your business what I do in my spare time." Alton said back and continued to walk.
That's when he got stopped and was smacked, he was smacked so hard that you could hear the impact loud and clear. Alton didn't move his face he just stood there and Clayton looked horrified as he witnessed that. "Your getting a head of yourself you bastard! I will make sure you regret everything you have done so far! That heir position is mine! And only mine!" Isabella shouted at him.
Alton slowly moved his attention to Isabella, and then sighed. He had just about enough of this whole family but can't get his plan in action because he haven't got that many people for allies yet. As he knows fully well, when he kicks out the count and his family they will do something back. "Lady Isabella I'd watch what you do. And if you think I wanted to be his son your sadly mistaken. Now go away I'm busy." Alton said, voice laced with annoyance.
Isabella's eyes widened as she heard that from Alton and that's when she was annoyed with him. "How dare you!! Your just some illegitimate child who is younger than me as well! I hate you!" Isabella said back.
"Feels mutual." Alton responded with.
This back fired on Isabella as she thought Alton would be hurt or devastated with her words but he didn't even seem to care. She stormed away and Alton walked into the estate and went to his office. He sighed and that's when Clayton spoke up. "Young master. . . Are you okay?" He asked the young boy.
Alton nodded his head while his back was turned to his butler. He walked to his desk and sat down. When he did he heard a knock on the door. Sighing thinking it was the viscount or one of them. When the door opened it was a maid. Alton raised an eyebrow while looking at her. "Uh yes?" He asked.
"Um sir I have a letter for you!" The maid replied.
Alton gestured for her to come in and took the letter from the maid. He looked at it and noticed that he was looking at a letter from Lloyd. He opened it up and started to read it in his head.
Dear Alton Von-Lowther,
Hiya! How are you doing? Hope everything is going okay for you. How am I? I'm glad you asked! I managed to finish my magic classes just a few days ago, I am now a full fledged wizard. However because of the fact I am the fourth child my parents don't really care so even if I do everything right they wouldn't care.
Anyway the reason why I am writing to you and it's not just because I wanted to share that great news with you, so why parents are little bit. . . Angry with me because well I am exciting, wondering if you wanted to come hang out with me at the Golden Dawn tea place? If you do you don't have to write me back i will be there anyway. So just turn up and meet me. By the time you get this letter I will be there the following day. Like I said just turn up!
-Lloyd.
Alton smiled at the note and one some of the parts he gave a small laugh. He placed the letter down and looked at the other staff that was in front of him. Told them all about it and smiled with the staff members, Clayton and the maid was so happy that their young lord/master was able to make a friend.
"He actually thought I'd turn him down."
To be continued!
