Juli's PoV

         We had all separated, I knew that Carl was not the boy I thought I knew... but... I don't know, I just... I just feel like I can bring out the best in him...?

"Carl! Carl where are you? I know what you're here at the party!" I spoke without a stutter nor a shiver.

"You need to go home... your friends... they are fine. They will be returned home safely..." I heard from a distance, I knew whose voice it came from...

"Carl, why are you doing this?! Who are you?" I asked, I am confused about everything. Was it all a lie? Why was he deceiving me? Why?

"You don't need to know... Nor do you need to see me..." He spoke in a low tone. I felt a heat rising but it wasn't like before...

"Carl...you threatened to kill my friends! You don't get to dictate what I do and don't need to know or see! Get out here and face me now!" I screamed furiously at him.

"You need to leave and never come back... it's not safe here" he's acting like he's trying to warn me of something.

"No! Come out here and look at me!' After I said that... he appeared as a tall pale, long legs and arms... and with tentacles... he had no face and was currently wearing a suit...

"No... Wait... You can't possibly be..."

"Slenderman... yes I am... But I prefer Carlson or Carl."

"...Why did you come to my school?" I managed to ask him but my voice was shaking but it wasn't in fear.

"Because I wanted to see what it's like going to a normal human school... To fall in love more importantly..." his voice went quiet when he spoke those words.

"Hah, fall in love? You are a murderous killer! How can a killer, such as yourself, fall in love? Hell, who would even fall in love with a monster such as yourself?!" I spat with venom and anger that I had built up within me. Seeing as he had no face, I couldn't tell how exactly he was taking it. However, I hope it hurts after everything he'd done. Although I could't shake the feeling that it wasn't right to say... 

"I... I understand Juli" that was the last thing he said before he disappeared... He left me a trail out of the woods. But by the time I got home... I felt nothing but dread and regret built up inside of me...

~Next Week~

          It was the next week and I went with my normal routine. I got dressed, ate breakfast and hurried off to school. I felt lonely... Usually Carl would catch up to me during this time. I barely got any rest because I couldn't help but remember what I had said to him. I looked down as I walked to my school, my heart aching each step I took without him here. When I had arrived at the school, it wasn't the same without him around... I wished I had never said what I had said...

           When it reached math class, I still didn't see a single sign or sight of him... my heart continued to long for him, ached for him and his missing presence. I felt tears begin to swell in my eyes.

'Where are you Carl... I miss you, I regret what I had foolishly said! Just please... Please... Come back to me Carl...'  I had thought sadly, but I hadn't lied. I regret what I had said. I wished I had never said that, it was insensitive of me to have said that.

          Hours had passed, it was now the end of school. I needed to find him, I needed to apologize to him. I had remembered him constantly saying that the woods were never safe. Even before the party, he had constantly mentioned how dangerous the woods were... I guess those were his hints to me in his way... I shook it off and ran off straight into the woods. It took me deeper and deeper into the forest... I wanted to give up hope in finding him... Till, I found a mansion deep inside these woods. I would walk up the steps, I jiggled the doorknob a little. I noticed it was unlocked, so I twisted it all the way and went through those doors...
