I groan when I hear noises. No. It's a loud, irritating, and immeasurable long noises.
The noise continues playing. My ears! They need silence!
Ugh. So irritating. I pull one of my pillows and cover it to my whole head.
I am sleeping, for justice's sake! And I don't want to be bothered in the middle of my sleep! But heck no, the tune never stops.
I just grab my phone. Who's this caller?
"Who's this?" I lazily ask in annoyance.
"I love the tone of your voice, Miracle."
Otomatikong nagising ang diwa ko at napaupo sa boses ni Dad sa kabilang linya.
"D-Dad!" I say frantically. "Sorry. I didn't look to the caller, I just answered it."
"That's understandable, dear." He says and I can sense his grin on the other side. "I know you're still asleep at this hour."
"Ah, yeah." I tell him, lying again on the bed with body swayed sideways. "So what's up, Dad? Do you need something?"
"Nothing much, daughter." my father answers, "I just want to ask your condition right now."
"I'm fine, Dad. Just little adjustments lang siguro."
"That's good to hear," then I hear him grunt. Maybe, he stands up from his chair. "I'm hanging this call now, Hime. Your Mom's waiting for me, we have work."
"Sure, no problem."
"Always take care, lass."
I smile to myself, "Noted that."
"Don't do something stupid, Miracle." he tells me with a hint of warning to his voice.
I let out a soft laugh, "I can't assure that, father."
He sighs, "Well, have your way. Just have fun."
"Okay, Dad." I reply and then the line is now cut.
I positioned myself in a nice comfy set up, lying on my back. I sigh and stare to the ceiling.
I'm thinking about the things I've been through in this world of bloodshed.
My Mom and Dad rules a secret organization—which is the White Nation. White Nation is one of the biggest and most respective Mafia groups world wide.
Kaya, huwag na kayong magataka kung bakit ako napunta dito.
I know it's dangerous. And sometimes, it can lead you to your own death. But I love death games.
I smirk. It is my life. It is a matter of life and death.
It's Sunday today and I still have one whole day to be 'me'. Well, I can do what I want only for today.
I decide to go out all by myself, para naman maging familiar ako sa Pilipinas.
Tumayo na ako at nagluto ng breakfast. After I eat, naligo na ako. I wear a black long-sleeved crop top with a highwaisted fishnet tights not to look that flirty. Along the top, I matched it with a black skater skirt and under-knee-cut high-heeled boots for my footwear. I let my hair falls with its full-length. Then I grab my bag and am now ready to go.
Before I go, I check my appearance once again on the mirror. This is how modern gothic persons look like. I don't need make-ups, I'm fine now.
Later that hour, I head outside the building and waved a taxi cab.
Tinanong ako ng driver kung saan ako pupunta at sinagot naman na, "Sa mall po." Tumango naman siya at nag-drive.
Nakadating na kami sa mall at nagbayad.
Okay, what should I buy? I think . . . nothing. I already have everything I need. I sigh. What's the purpose why I am here? Well, if everything—everyone—are created with or for a purpose, then everything—everyone—are meant to be broken.
Anyway, like what I have said, I already everything I need, that includes the stuff to disguise my whole identity.
That's the thing I should follow for me to have a normal life. This is so troublesome I could die.
Pumunta na lamang ako sa isang hair parlor, para magpakulay ng buhok. My current hair color is brown. I like dying my hair and cherish it more than anything. I decided to make it black again, to make me look like a goth. I also have a natural wavy hair, it adds a plus point to my visage.
Surely, it takes time to get through this, but it is fine, I just need to waste time.
Once it is done, I never know where should I go on this mid-rise commercial mall. I exhale. This is what I call boring.
Since I don't have a specific place where should I go, I ended at the floor where the costumer's parking area is. I can't help but to smirk wryly. Boring.
Well, I am now here, then I might as well check the floor area.
There are not much here, just these cars parked. But there is a certain car that stood out among these normal-looking cars. It is a Toyota FT-1 sports car.
I have thought of something. Walang thrill kung maglilibot lang ako rito at walang gagawin. I smirk again. I have thought of something that causes a real trouble from this real troublemaker.
Step 1: Check if there are persons and security cameras around.
No one is here. There are security cameras, yes; yet where the sports car parked, is where the blindspot of these cameras. Perfect.
Step 2: Go near the car and simply break the side side mirror along with wind shield.
And I did it. There's a satisfaction inside of me. I smile evilly. I'm really rotten to the core.
"Hey!" My thoughts vanish when I hear a voice full of rage. "What have you done to my car?!"
Huh?
I look behind and sight a man with his aura screaming, "Who in this world are you?!" Ah, the owner.
Lastly, the Step 3: Run for your life, Miracle.
"Where are you going, drat it!" he screams.
Yes, this is trouble and I caused it. World would be boring if something like this do not happen, though.
I am escaping calmly with a bored expression, but my lips curls with a lopsided smile.
Whilst running, I notice a car with its wind shields are open, showing a guy smirking amusingly on his face.
I pause on running and eyed the guy with my usual facial expression. Right from the start, I am being watched. And I never felt a presence or even a sensation of being watched.
A weird fellow.
As I am halted on running, security people arrive and ready to arrest me.
Tch. The owner have already called the securities. Now I have no choice but to run.
"Need a help?"
I'm about to run when the person who was watching me did my troublesome act, offers me a help.
I pay a little more seconds to decide. Can I trust him? Looking at him, his face is convincing that he is a good person.
Well, I can tell it with his aura. Then, I have no choice. I hurriedly go near the car and open the door. I scooted over, and it only surprises me when there is another male person inside. Whatever, I can take care of myself.
The car starts moving in a fast pace, trying to get away from the securities. I gaze at the driver of this car, because he drives swiftly in a very graceful way.
It leaves me astonished when I discovered that I familiarized the driver.
The guy at the airport. The one whose eyes are alike the moon. I smile privately. If isn't the coincidence. The guy caught me staring, then I see his slight stunned reaction.
That kind of response, he familiarizes me.
Hmn . . .Why all of the places and times?
I'm the one who removes the stare first, and he continues driving.
"You had a quite entertaining show back there." says the guy with an amused grin.
I don't care that much. I just wanted a little fun. Looking at the side, I sigh. "Not really."
"Hmm . . . " he hums, "Why did you do that, by the way?"
I'm not in the mood to talk, but they are kind enough to help a stranger like me. I rested my head on the car's windshield and purse my bottom lip. "There is no particular reason, specifically. Just did it out of boredom."
He scoffs, "Unbelievable. You're one of a kind. I like that attitude, especially for a lady."
I shake my head lightly, snickering secretly. "Excuse me, but are you flirting with me?" then I say with a sidelong glance.
"Flirting?" he chuckles, "No, don't get me wrong. I'm complimenting you."
I arch my eyebrow, "How?"
"Haha, because whether you did something terrible or not, you don't give a damn. Just like what you did a while ago; you live as if your world is only yours."
I give him a slight shrug, "You speak as if you know me too well."
"My instincts are just telling me."
"Okay, whatever you say." I reply and stare dully outside.
Come to think of it, I don't know where we the driver is leading us. Ugh, how can I let my guard down on this? Plus the fact that we are all still strangers to each other.
I sigh again and about to ask the second guy, but he immediately senses my discomfort and asks me, "Where do you want us to drop you?"
Observing their facial expressions, I can really tell that they are good persons. Gladly, I encounter them.
"If you may, I would like to go to the Twain Tower." I simply state in a polite manner.
The guy whistles in awestruck with a sneering tone, "Really unbelievable. Hah, we have an elite kid on our side."
I crease my brows, "It's not a big deal."
"Only for you, of course." and he scoffs, dropping his back on the seat, clasping his arms. "Hey, Chance, you heard the elite girl." Then this guy orders the driver. If I can recall correctly . . . he calls him Chance.
The guy named Chance never replied and just followed his order.
I only remain silent and wait for many minutes not until I can now sight the familiar places near the high-rise building where I live—the Twain Tower. Obviously, it is one of our properties.
As soon as we reach the building, I get out immediately. But before I go, I have to speak my gratitude. So I look around and peer at them. "Thanks for the ride. Although we are all strangers, you helped me."
"Not a big problem." the approachable guy replies, "It is a pleasure to meet you."
I only grin sideways, "Sure," and answer shortly. "Goodbye." Then I start to walk without saying our names.
Well, that's fine. As if we'll meet again.
I continue to head towards the lobby of the building. And then, I remember that I already have a class tomorrow.
Ah, classes. Troublesome.
