"Bye. Ingat sa school." Kuya Mike reminds me when I get out from his car.

"I will, Kuya." I respond to him. "Take care also. Bye."

And so, he is now off.

I inhale and let it out. Classes will start in few minutes. So, I have to walk now. Nang nasa main gate na ako ng school, may kumapit na agad sa akin.

"Natsumi!"

Who else? The only two girls. I groan silently while I facepalm.

"Good morning!" They both greet in unison.

"Yeah, morning." I reply lazily and forcefully smile. Smile? No. I just lift a corner from my lips.

"Mukhang inaantok ka pa, Nat." Ashley tells me with her sweet voice.

"Uh-hmm." I hum as a sign of saying yes.

"Ah! Tara!" Biglang sabi ni Ellianna. "Sa Green House tayo. Maaga pa naman."

Eh? Mabilis ko siyang tinignan. Her invitation catches my attention.

"Sige." I agree with my not-so-desperately expression. I like plants, especially flowers.

And so, it happens. Pumunta kami sa green house. Sariwa ang hangin at maaliwalas ang panahon. Isa lang ang naiisip ko, ang matulog.

"Maganda ba, Nat?" Elli inquires while grinning.

"Yah. And honestly, I like flowers. Thank you for bringing me here." I reply while passionately looking at the red rose flower. I hold the flower and smell it.

"Talaga, Nat?" They say in chorus.

"Oo." Sagot ko. "At pansin ko lang, para kayong kambal. Sabihin n'yo nga, magkapatid ba kayo or blood related?"

"Ahahaha. No, Nat." Ash chuckles. "Ganito kasi iyon, our parents are both best friends since back then."

"Yeah. Dahil sa mga parents namin, naging mag-childhood best friends kami ni Ash." Elli finishes it joyfully. "And for now, nandito ka na, kaya tatlo na tayo!"

"Oh." I nod, "So, why me? I'm sure, marami pa naman diyan."

"Kasi, noon pa lamang pagkakita namin, Nat, magaan na ng pakiramdam namin sa iyo." Elli answers my question. "And kung itatanong mo kung bakit hindi sa iba, because they are all fake."

"Yes," Ash second in motions, "Elli and I are not usually talking to others. We're just all by ourselves. But when we saw you walking with your stoic look, we immediately identify that you're true as it is."

Hmm. Just like Dad says. I need to find people who can I trust. I can trust them, yes. But they can't trust me.

I just grin at them. I appreciate what they said.

We decided to stroll for more. And nalibang ako nang husto, naalis din ang antok ko.

"Guys, tara na!" I am bit surprise with Elli's announcement. "Quarter to 7:30 na pala. Miss Marionne might not let us attend her class."

It's time already. Gee. Time is really the most deceiving exsisting-creation ever.

Anyway, I'll come again.

We head to our room together. As we enter the class, Miss Marionne is still not around. I check the time, three minutes before seven-thirty.

Everyone is on the lively mood, they are all noisy. It makes my ears ring.

I mentally roll my eyes and blow my bangs upwardly. I start to walk to my seat when I notice that the five are already present. I'm talking about Chance and his friends, by the way.

I sit on my chair irritatedly and stay silent. Seeing all these students make me even more irritated. And seeing this room makes me sleepy.

I yawn as I place my hands on my chin. I feel my eyes waters. It's really a boring day, huh?

I was also attending class in Japan, and because my life there was not peaceful, so whatever time and place, I needed to maintain the tranquility.

I had to risk my student life doing my missions. That was might the reason why Dad sent me here.

But, that plan can keep me like a thin air? Can my days will be more peaceful? Can the world makes my life in silence? Can I live normally?

Can I?

Will they?

Thinking of that makes me really annoyed, plus the noises they are making.

I calm myself. I can't stop them. That's their world.

I sigh loudly and close my eyes. People are incorrigible. They exsist not to understand each other. Now, how can a person like me can stop them?

I yawn again. Ahh! I can't stand this sleepiness!

"Wahh!~ Nat, you're so cute!" I gaze on her. She is smiling from ear-to-ear with her sparkly eyes.

Heh. I only grimace at her, while giving her a 'you-are-creepy' look.

I am about to face forward, when Sean's face is in front of me.

Medyo nagulat ako sa pagsulpot ni Sean sa harapan ko. Ang lapit ng mukha niya sa akin. Nakakunot-noo siya, na tila ini-inspeksyon ang mukha ko.

Hay. Hindi na lang kumibo at hinayaan sa gusto niya.

"Ikaw si Natsumi, 'di ba?" Tanong niya at otomatikong napataas ang isa kong kilay, kasabay ng medyo pagbukas ng bibig ko.

Hindi ako siya. Tsk. I just nod to his question.

He never said something any further and just left me, going back to his seat.

Just a few seconds passed when Miss Marionne arrives. Nanahimik naman sila at umupo sa mga seats nila.

Once our class starts, I do not stop yawning and yawning. Good thing, Miss Marionne can't see me. Well, I'm on the blind spot, that's why.

Until the very last long, it's finally our lunch break. Ah~ I survive.

We're now currently walking on the way, at nadaanan namin 'yung apat na clowns. They are all glaring at me. Like I care. And mukhang 'di napansin nina Ash at Elli ang pagtitig nila. Heh. Note the sarcasm.

We enter the cafeteria and order our foods. Once we finish, we sit to a vacant table.

While eating, "Ah. Ash, Elli." I call them both. Humarap naman sila with 'what' look. "Sino ang mga clowns na iyon?"

"Huh? Clowns?" They ask cluelessly.

"Ah. I mean, 'yung group of girls na may four members. And they look like clowns with their make-ups." I explain.

"Ah! Ahaha! Sina Monique and her slaves." Ash laughs ludicrously.

"Eh? Slaves?" I repeat.

"Whatever she calls her friends, but we're calling them slaves." She tells me first. "And as for Monique Taylor, she is the Queen Bee and the leader of the cheerleading squad here."

"Yup." Elli concurs, "Isa rin ang mga parents niya sa mga major stock holders here. Kaya, kapag gumagawa siya ng kalokohan, hinahayaan na lang siya."

Hmm. Tumango ako habang iniinom ang aking orange juice.

"And she's really obsess with Chance Gabrielle Cain." Answers Ash again. "Chance's family owns this University. And ang apat na lalaki na kasama niya ay kanyang mga kabigan—which are: Sean Andrew Scott, Justine Sahm Yu, Kieffer Alex Lee, and Yaehl Jeremy Nicolas."

Sino si Kieffer and Yaehl? I know their names, but I don't know their faces.

"And may isa pa silang barkada." Elli speaks.

"Sino?" Interesadong tanong ko.

"Wala siya ngayon eh." Sagot niya. "Nagbakasyon sa Korea. Next time na lang namin siya ipakikilala, kapag nandito na siya."

Eh? Vacation in the middle of school year? That's strange.

"Okay, then." I reply and continue what we are doing.

Nang natapos na kaming kumain, napagkasunduan namin na babalik na kami ng room.

Actually, ayaw kong pumasok. I want to sleep. It's boring inside.

Meh. Here goes the Sleepy Miracle.

"Guys, una na kayo." I state as I pause on walking. "I'm going to G.O., may kukunin pa ako."

"Ano'ng kukunin mo?" Ash suspects, "At samahan ka na namin, Nat."

"No. Mabilis lang ako. You two go first. I'll be back." Mabilis na sagot ko.

"Important ba talaga, Nat?" Elli questions.

Eh? "O-Oo." Alanganin na sagot ko.

"Ah. Sige, sige." Elli mumbles. "Pero sa tingin ko, may mangyayari." She almost whispers the last part. "But don't mind me. We're now going, okay? And bilisan mo!" She reminds me and takes Ash to our room.

Okay na siguro ang mag-white lie sometimes. Ah-hah~

I start walking and already sense a very familiar presence. Kahit hindi ko tignan, apat silang nakatingin sa 'kin. Who else? Monique and friends.

I do not look back, but I feel them running, reaching my direction.

When she is near me, she grabs my arm. "Hey, you!" She says and I look blankly at them. "It's nice to see you again, nerd."

I sigh hopelessly, "What do you need?"

"Well, we still have an unfinished business, dear."

"Oh. Really?" I plaster a fake smile. "You know what? I do not really care about your own business, Miss Whoever-You-Are." and say dryly.

I pull my arm back and turn my heels. People are really annoying, right?

"YOU!!~" She squeals. "How dare you to turn your back at me?!" She grabs my arm again and for my most appreciated surprise, she slaps me hard on my left cheek!

My emotions are burning. I'm clenching my jaw while gripping my balled fists so tight.

I remain silent. I calm myself before I rip her head off.

"You don't know whom you are bumping with, stupid!" She preaches me, and looks like she is going to slap me again.

I ready myself, I will not going to allow her to slap me again. I'll beat the hell out of her, if she did.

Pero, bago niya magawa . . .

"Mind to join your business?"

Someone says, and as if on cue, my body stops responding and I remain standing like a statue. The same as these girls in front me.

Who owns that cold voice?

I slowly gaze to the owner.

I stare only at him, without emotions. He is standing with authority, looking at me coldly.
