Trembling the next morning, she forced herself to get ready. 

Muttering angerly, she groaned. "How could Ivy be another one, how? Kai and Lily and Rose make sense, but Ivy?"

Kylee had a long history with Ivy.  Beautiful and fabulous, everything came easy to Ivy, unlike the hardships Kylee would face. They both could have been friends, but Kylee wanted to just get through school, while Ivy wanted to rule over all the other girls. Ivy had her life planned out from the start, but she would get the shock of her life. 

Kylee grinned at the thought of Ivy being surprised at what was to come. "Who's the one who has everything going easy to her now." But then she paused. "I can't be enemies with my supposed friend. I have to help her, not hurt her because the others helped me. I'll do it."

"Hey, Ivy, wait up!"

"What's up, Kylee. I have to go, like, now!"

"Okay. But there is something I need to tell you."

She looked into Ivy's eyes. Jay-blue into hazelnut-brown. And Kylee twisted her hand, just so that ice danced on her fingertips. 

"Do that," Kylee whispered, surprised Ivy didn't protest. "Twist your left hand."

Ivy did just so, and a breeze came from nowhere. Rotating and turning, the wind settled down on her hand.

Kylee stared at Ivy, then after a while, she spoke. "We need to talk."
