"I'm here. I came, like, as fast as I could." Breathing hard, Ivy looked up. "Tell me about this."

They were sitting in Kylee's room on her bed. Kylee opened a bag of chips and started to eat them.

"Okay, what do you need to know."

"How can I, like, get rid of this?"

The question took Kylee by surprise. "Get rid of them?" She always thought that even though her powers could be bothersome at times, they were pretty cool. And when Kai taught her how to control them, they were even better! Kylee was stunned someone would want to get rid of their powers just like that. "Get rid of them?" She repeated with confusion.

"Yes, like, not have the like, wind-thingy, anymore. I don't want it."

"You can't get rid of-" Kylee's words were cut off by Ivy rising into the air. 

Ivy managed to choke out the words. "See, I can't control it." 

"Stay there."

Kylee sprinted downstairs, out the door, hurdled the fence, and ran straight up to Kai's back door. Trying to act calm, she abruptly knocked it.

Kai's face appeared instantly. "Who's that- oh it's you, Kylee."

"C'mon- friend with light- can't control powers- my house- go!" She was so out of breath she could hardly talk.

But Kai just stared at her. "I've never seen anyone use their light like that."

His eyes darted to her feet. They were smoking a light blue vapor, and when she looked up to see her reflection, her eyes were glowing a ice blue.
