dare: lane and shu hv a compliment war. fubuki has to watch the two as they hug it out for a suspiciously long time.

The expression plastered on Lane and Shu's faces was the definition of priceless when they read the dare.

After some awkward silence, Shu said, "We're gonna act really OOC here, aren't we..."

"Let's just get this over with," Lane huffed, but internally he thought, LEZ GOOO I GET TO MAKE THAT BANANA BOI JEALOUSSS-

First, the two went out to the garden, where Fubuki was blading by himself. They kept a convenient distance from him; from where Fubuki could see and hear them, but it would seem as if the two hadn't even acknowledged his presence.

Then, Lane said, "Hey, Shu. Have I ever apologised for the trouble I put you through?"

"Don't say that, Lane! You were never trouble! I only wanted to help you get stronger!" Shu retorted, frowning.

"You're too nice. Honestly speaking though, you're the strongest person I know."

"You create a bigger impact than you realise."

"Seriously, though, you gotta leave out some slay for the rest of us."

"You took those words right outta my mouth."

"Honestly, if you'd want to break my leg, I'd let you do it."

"What else would break along with it?"

The two laughed and then hugged. For a suspiciously long time.

Meanwhile, Fubuki, who had watched their whole exchange, felt rage boiling inside him. But he didn't show it on the outside.

Suddenly, a certain red-haired boy with turquoise eyes jumped out of the bushes.

"Hey Aiger, I sorta need your help. I got some guy problems," Fubuki said nonchalantly.

Aiger grinned, before saying, "You mean the 'I'm crushing on a guy' problems or the 'I wanna murder a guy right now' problems? Cuz I can help you with both!"

Fubuki thought for a moment before nonchalantly replying, "Both, actually. Though I'd appreciate it if you'd solve the 'I wanna murder a guy right now' problem first," he finished, looking straight at Lane, who was still laughing and hugging Shu.

Aiger followed Fubuki's gaze and smirked. "Sweet!" he said.
