STAR LABS

In a gust of wind, Barry, Iris, and Nora appeared in Star Labs where Cisco, Caitlin, and Harry stood in the Cortex.

"What do we got?" Barry asked Cisco as he walked over to where the engineer was sat glued to his computer screen.

"Well, I noticed a very distinctive pattern with our latest metahuman, " began Cisco, "She seems to have a crazy obsession with the number 13. I noticed that she would rob places that have the number 13 in the address, or unit, or even coordinates. What's even freakier is that she would rob it at the 13th hour, second, or minute." concluded Cisco.

"That is freaky" agreed Barry. "Hey Caitlin did you get anything off that sample I gave you yesterday to what kind of power this metahuman has?" asked Barry.

"Uh yeah," said Caitlin "I'll be right back," she said leaving to retrieve the information she got off the sample. She soon returned back shortly after with a bunch of paper in her hand.

"Well based on the information I received I would say that this substance would have to be some type of acidic slime," she said looking up at the group. Her eyes locked with Nora and she began to feel scared and found it hard to breathe. Harry noticed that the good doctor seemed to be in a state of distressed.

"Snow," he said "Are you ok?" he asked Caitlin worriedly.

"Uh, yeah, yeah" she replied shakingly "I-I'm f-f-fine". She hated not being able to tell her friends what happened. She didn't even know how she got herself in this position in the first place. All she knew was that if she said a word to any of them she will be dead. So she decided to just suck it up for now and hope that things will get better. She smiled nervously at the group hoping they will buy it. Everyone seemed to take the bait excepted for Harry who was not convinced. He felt like Snow's sudden change had something to do with Nora. Suddenly the metahuman alarm went off startling the group.

"Who is it?" asked Barry.

"It's Slime Monster" replied Cisco (btw this character does not exist in the flash universe I made it up. And I know it's a terrible name😁) referring to the woman who was obsessed with the number 13.

"Where is she?" asked Nora.

"13 Tree Blvd. A private owned million dollar cleaning warehouse," replied Cisco and in a flash both Barry and Nora were gone.

They ran through the city leaving behind a trail of purple and yellow lighting. Once they arrived at the scene it was a mess. The door was melted through and there was a giant hole in the middle of the room. There were bodies around the room that were slowly burning away by the acid eating away the flesh off their bones. Nora grimaced at the scene. They slowly made their way through the room looking for Slime Monster. They soon found her at the back of the room trying to fill her duffle bag with as much cash as she can. There was acid oozing all around her so both Barry and Nora knew that trying to flash over there would be a mistake. They needed a way to prevent the acid from harming them and fast.

"Guys," said Barry through the comms "She's here. But how are we supposed to capture her without getting hurt" he asked them quietly so that Slime Monster couldn't hear. There was complete silence on the line until Caitlin had an idea.

"Barry" she called, "You're in a cleaning warehouse, correct?" she asked.

"Yeah why?" asked Barry not understanding how that was going to help him.

"Well since you studied science, I'm sure you're familiar with how to handle an acid spill." she began, "You know when you have a corrosive acid you need a-"

"strong base in order to neutralize the reaction," said Barry finishing Caitlin's sentence, "You're a genius Cait!" he cheered with a smile. Barry looked around and realized that he was surrounded by machines containing Sodium Hydroxide which is a very strong base. He saw a nearby hose connecting to one of the machines and sped over to it. Slime Monster felt the Flash's presence and shot her acidic slime towards him just as he shot the base towards her. She missed him and ended up shooting one of the gas tanks that exploded and shoot a fireball towards the nearby crates setting them on fire. Once Slime Monster was neutralized Barry quickly speed towards her handcuffing her with the meta cuffs.

"I got the fire," said Nora, "you just get her into the pipeline"

Barry nodded and then was gone in a flash with Slime Monster. Nora used her arm at super speed creating a mini vacuum to try and stop the fire. Slowly the fire died down and Nora sighed in relief. She was just about to head back to Star Labs when she was thrown brutally across the room. Her vision was blurred but she managed to make out a person in a black suit and a mask on.

"Who are you?" asked Nora trying to stand up.

"It doesn't matter," said the mysterious figure, "All that matters is that I know you, Nora, I know who you really are. And I know the real reason to why you are here, in this time. And about your little secret, you are trying to keep "he replied while vibrating his vocal cords.

Nora froze. She couldn't let her secret get out, it could ruin her plans. "What do you want from me? Huh?! Did you come here to kill me?" she asked trying to sound brave as the mysterious person approached her.

He laughed manically at her attempt to sound brave. Nora shivered as he approached her."Oh Nora," he said as he brushed a strand of hair out of her face. "I'm not here to hurt you," he said now inches away from her face, "I'm just here to collect you."

"Collect me?" she asked confused, "for what?"

The mysterious figure opened his mouth to reply but winced taking a step back as he got a notification telepathically by the speed force telling him that his time here was up. "You'll soon find out eventually," he said to Nora "Just remember to buckle up, and get into Pursuit," he said before winking and was gone in a flash. Nora was thrown backward falling into the crates by the force of his speed. She couldn't make out the color of his lighting but just knew that he was fast.

A cold chill went down her spine at the name Pursuit. She remembered reading about Pursuit in her time. He was a time-traveling bounty hunter who worked for the speed force and was their top dog. The speed force would send him out to hunt down and capture speedster's who missed used their speed for their advantage. And now he is here and after her.

Nora knew that she has to find a way to get rid of him, and the only way she knew was with the help of Team Flash. So she knew what she had to do. She had to convince Team Flash into helping her stop Pursuit from ruining her plans. Just then, Barry showed up in his Flash suit.

"Are you ok?" he asked Nora helping her up.

"Yeah I'm fine" she replied back "but there's something I need to tell you"

"What is it?" Barry asked worriedly.

"Can we talk about it at Star Labs, in front of everyone?" she asked

"Yeah" agreed Barry "Let's go," he said and they both flashed out of there.

STAR LABS

They arrived at Star Labs and called a group meeting in the Cortex. Everyone (Barry, Caitlin, Cisco, Harry, Ralph, Joe, Cecile, Iris, baby Jenna) was all there in the Cortex waiting for Nora to speak. While they were waiting patiently, Nora was trying to think of a way to convince them into helping her stop Pursuit even thou he is not a threat.

"Ok" she began "I have called you all down here because there is something I need to tell you all. While I was down by the warehouse trying to take out the fire, a mysterious speedster clad in black showed up and pushed me across the room sending me flying into a bunch of crates. He told me his name was Pursuit, and I remember reading about him in my time that I am from. He is a time-traveling bounty hunter who is here and after me." she said telling the truth.

"And he is here...to stop me from helping you," she said beginning her lie "He is the reason that I ran back in time, to this day." she ended.

"He's the reason that you weren't fast enough to save everyone?" asked Barry getting angry.

"Yes," said Nora, "and I need your help to stop him before he ruins everything", she said trying to convince them. There was a complete silence as everyone took in this new information. After some time, they all agreed to help Nora take down Pursuit.

"Thank you" she sighed relieved.
