CENTRAL CITY
10:00 am
Pieces of glass shattered as a flash of yellow and light blue lighting tore through the streets of Central City. Two speedster running head to head raced each other as they made their way through.
"Try to keep up old man," boosted Henry before running ahead of his father.
"Old man," Barry scoffed in disbelief. "I'll show him an old man," said Barry running after his son.
Walking into the Cortex, Caitlin took a seat besides Cisco. Sipping on his coffee, Cisco focused back on the computer screen.
"Alright, let's see what we got for you today boys," Cisco cracks his fingers before typing on the keyboards.
A beeping sound came from the computer pulling Caitlin away from her tablet. "We got an armed robbery at fourth and Collins," replied Caitlin.
"Race you there!" shouted Barry and Henry in sync as they raced towards the scene. Looking at each other Cisco and Caitlin shook their heads at the father and son.
-------------------------------------
Arriving at the scene, Henry punched the goon getting out of the tow truck to help his friends. Running past him, Barry punched two goons aiming their gun at the two police officers. In a blink of an eye, Henry was by the side of a goon who was icing the back door of the cash truck. Looking at the speedster the goon froze in place. Eyeing the goon, Henry smirked at his frightened state.
"Wrong pin number," said Henry before knocking the man to the floor. Looking down at the man Henry began to handcuff him as Barry began to handcuff 2 other goons. Standing up on wobbly legs the last goon aimed his gun at one of the speedsters head. The one in a black suit.
After handcuffing the two goons, Barry turned around to see the last goon aiming his gun at his son's head. In a flash, Barry was by his side ripping the gun out of his arm before knocking him out. Hearing the sound of a gun clattering to the floor, Henry turned to see his father handcuffing the last goon who laid motionless on the floor.
"Is he dead?" asked Henry eyeing the goon.
Standing up Barry looked at his son. "No, just knocked out," Barry shrugged.
Nodding his head Henry turned to the two female police officers. "Are you alright?" asked Henry helping one of them up as his father helped the other.
"Yeah. It's just my head is killing me," replied the female officer that Henry was helping up. Looking her over Henry came up with a diagnosis for her injury.
"Well it seems like the blunt of the gun caused some damage," said Henry referring to the blood leaking down her forehead. "You might want to have a CT or MRI scan done to make sure it's not a concussion though," ended Henry. Staring at the young speedster the police officer looked at him quizzically.
"Are you a doctor or something?" joked the officer.
"Something like that," smirked Henry knowing his full capacity.
"You should probably get to the hospital immediately, encase it's urgent. I'll take you there," volunteered Flash. "Pursuit," said Barry referring to his son's alter ego. "You think you can take care of them," said Barry gesturing towards the goons that laid unconscious.
"For sure," replied Henry. "I'll get it done in a flash," winked Henry as the 2 police officers giggled at his comment, while The Flash rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah," said Barry dismissing Henry as they began their task.
-------------------------------------------
STAR LABS
10:30 am
After taking care of some minor task Henry and Barry made their way back to Star Labs. Skidding to a stop the pair made both Cisco and Caitlin's hair fly back as they stood before them.
"Hey guy," called out the pair.
"Henry!" Caitlin ran towards her son and engulfed him in a hug. Caught off guard Henry stumbled back at the impact.
"Woah Mom!" exclaimed Henry. "Chill. Watch the arm," hissed Henry holding his arm protectively. He had injured it while trying to get a cat out of a tree. A tree branch had brushed against his arm creating a slight scratch.
Pulling away from the hug, Caitlin went into full doctor mode. "You injured your arm? Let me see," said Caitlin with concern written on her face. Letting go of his arm Henry let his mother inspect it.
"Well it seems that the laceration is not that deep. It is not bleeding profoundly. You'll just need some isopropyl alcohol and a bandage wrap. Do you feel any pain? Do you need any pain meds?" wondered Caitlin.
"I'm fine mom. It's not that bad," assured Henry. "And besides the pain meds won't work on me due to my fast metabolism. It'll burn through," remind Henry.
"Your right," nodded Caitlin. "Let me assist your wound," she said, getting right to the task. Standing besides Cisco, Barry shook his head as he watched Caitlin mothering Henry. She was so worried about him.
"You guys did great out there!" exclaimed Cisco patting Barry's back.
"Yeah, Henry was great. He sure has his work cut out for him," praised Barry nodding in his son's direction.
"Well he did learn from the best," said Cisco, shaking Barry's shoulder.
Huffing a laugh Barry looked at his son. "Yeah, he did," he said with fondness in his eyes.
"Mom, I told you it's not that deep. It's just a light scratch. There's no tissue damages or blood loss," scowled Henry as his mother continued to pressure on. "My arteries are intact, mom. I should know this I am a doctor too after all," assured Henry.
"I know," sighed Caitlin. "But that won't stop me from worrying about you," said Caitlin, running a hand through her son's hair. Taking her hand in his Henry kissed her wrist. Stopping by the gesture Caitlin looked at her son.
"I'm fine mom. Stop worrying," said Henry pulling his mother into a hug. Wrapping her arms around him Caitlin gave into the hug.
Suddenly Barry's phone went off notifying him that he was wanted at work.
"Oh! That's my cue," said Barry speed-changed out of his suit. "I'll see you guys later," he said making his way out of the Cortex. While making his way out Barry bumped into Harry who was just walking in.
"Sorry Harry," apologized Barry.
"Allen," said Harry, greeting his disappearing figure.
Turning towards the rest of the team Henry looked at them expectantly. "So what do we have to do today?" he asked.
------------------------------------------------
3:30 pm
After helping both his uncles with their workload, they were down to the last task. Typing on the computer, Cisco tried hard to decipher the code while Henry stood beside Harry peering over his shoulder as he typed on a tablet. Taking a seat the computer chair Caitlin watched the scene.
"You see, where facing this new meta who uses this high tech device. He uses this gun that emits an ice blast, similar to the cold gun but different. The gun can reach up to absolute zero within seconds. On top of that he seems to be wearing a cryo-suit, that keeps his body temperature below freezing. In addition to his gun it is very precise. The gun tracks heat signatures from its surroundings, making sure it hits it's target every time," explained Harry.
"I have programmed the satellite to track any unusual cold signatures. And although it has been very helpful, we haven't been able to catch the bad guy yet. All our attempts so far have failed, with Barry getting injured each time and having to leave earlier before apprehending the suspect," said Harry looking at the young man.
Looking at the tablet, Henry bit his lip as he pondered what Harry said. "Maybe if you recalibrated the satellite to look for strong electrical drainage that could work. A weapon that powerful would need a lot of energy to refill," suggested Henry.
Looking at the young prodigy Harry nodded his head. "That could work! You're a genius!" praised Harry smiling. Stopping mid-type Cisco looked up.
"Well I'll be damn! Was that a compliment I heard?" teased Cisco. Harry was a pretty grumpy person. He doesn't give compliments out easily. So the short amount of time he does, Cisco loves to tease him about it.
"Shut up Ramon!" replied Harry.
"Aww it was," gushed Cisco as Caitlin laughed.
"Well at least someone has a brain around here. Unlike your pea size," counteracted Harry looking at Cisco.
"Heyyy," said Cisco, offended. "You forgot Caitlin's here too," pointed out Cisco.
"Yeah," agreed Caitlin.
"Her brain's wayyyy smaller than mine," smirked Cisco.
"Ya!" agreed Caitlin before taking in his words. "Wait! No it's not," said Caitlin hitting Cisco's chest as he consumed into a fit of giggles. Rolling his eyes fondly Harry shaked his head. Reaching for the tablet, Henry pried it out of Harry's arm before typing on it. Activating the satellite Henry recalibrated it so it can look for power drainage.
"Done," said Henry handing back the tablet. Walking over towards the computer desk Henry glanced at Cisco's screen.
"Watcha doin?" he asked curiously.
"Trying to unscramble these words. My friend sent them to me. She said there was a hidden message behind the words," answered Cisco. Leaning forward, Henry took a better look at the words. 3 sets of words laid on the screen: mors mihi lucrum!
"It's not Spanish that's for sure," mumbled Cisco.
"It doesn't look french either," said Caitlin looking at the set of words.
"That's because it's Latin," said Henry.
"Latin?! Isn't that a dead language?" asked Cisco looking at the young speedster.
"Yeah. It says 'Death to me is reward'," read Henry.
"Well that's comforting," huffed out Harry shaking his head.
"You speak a dead language!" yelled Cisco staring at the young man in shock.
"Yeah," shrugged Henry like it was no big deal. "I speak a bunch of languages such as: French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Arabic, Dutch, Swahili, Oromo, Hindi, whatever you name it I speak it. I also know sign language, braille, Speed-talking, morse code, and Latin," replied Henry.
"You speak a dead language," repeated Cisco. "That's weird," stated Cisco like it was obvious.
"So," said Henry, not understanding what's the problem.
"It's a dead language! Spoken by the dead! That's weird," said Cisco as both Harry and Caitlin looked at him questionably.
"Whatever dude," shrugged Henry rolling his eyes. "Now that we're done with both of your tasks," said Henry pointing between the two men. "Can we please do something fun," sighed Henry.
"What do you have in mind?" inquired Harry.
Looking at him Henry smirked in reply as everyone else looked at one another wondering what the speedster had in mind.
------------------------------------
5:30 pm
Harry sat in front of a chess game and thought of a move to make. Cisco and Henry played ping pong while Caitlin attempted to make her move in the game operation. A buzzing sound emitted from the game signaling Henry that it was his turn. Rushing over in lightning speed Henry plucked the tweezers from his mother's hands before making his move.
"This game isn't even remotely anatomically correct," complained Caitlin as Henry continued his ping pong game with Cisco.
"That's not the point, Dr. Snow," teased Henry.
PARALLEL
"Then what is the point?" said Caitlin sensing a feeling of deja vu.
"To have fun," answered Henry. "And to see how good I am at multitasking," smirked Henry before rushing over to Harry to move one of his chess pieces.
"Check," noted Henry before speeding off to Cisco.
Drenching in sweat, Cisco tried to keep up with the active speedster. Hitting the ball over to Cisco, the man missed it by an inch as he was exhausted from this workout.
"Dammit," cursed Cisco, rushing over to retrieve the ball.
In a flash, Henry continued his chess game with Harry. Moving his chess piece Henry smirked in victory. "Checkmate," exclaimed Henry. "Better luck next time, Wells," winked Henry before making his way to Caitlin's side.
Attempting to grab the plastic piece the buzzing sound went off again startling Caitlin. "It's harder than it look," scoffed Caitlin looking at the board game.
"Sure it is Caitlin," exaggerated Cisco who was clearly out of breath.
"You know what's weird," began Henry using the tweezers to pick up the plastic piece. "No matter what timeline your in or what universe you travel to, mom always seem to suck at operation," teased Henry laughing as Caitlin threw the empty board game box at him.
Suddenly a gust of wind blew into the Cortex as Barry stood before them. "Hey guys. Whatcha doin?" asked Barry looking around the room.
"Ohhh, just playing a few games," shrugged Henry. Grabbing a water bottle nearby Cisco began to down the bottle.
"Speak for yourself," spoke Cisco once finished. "This felt like a workout," complained Cisco causing everyone to laugh. "I can't imagine what you must have been like as a kid," said Cisco shaking his head as he mentally prayed for his future self who will be having to deal with this active child.
"Oh yeah. I was quite a handful," winked Henry unnerving Cisco even more.
Entering the Cortex, Ralph, Joe, Iris, and Nora joined the rest of the team. "Hey guys. How has your day been so far?" questioned Joe as he looked at the various games laid out.
"Oh you know, just the usual. Some minor robbery's and paperwork," answered Henry. "Nothing big," ended Henry as the alarms went off in the Cortex.
"Spoke to soon," winced Henry as Barry and Cisco made there way to the computer screen.
"What is it?" asked Barry standing behind Cisco.
"We got a ping on Mister Freeze," answered Cisco.
"Mister Freeze?" repeated Henry. "Was that the new meta you were referring to earlier?" Henry looked at Harry for confirmation.
"That's him," nodded Harry as he looked at the screen. Pulling up a GPS of Central City Cisco searched for the villain. Pinpointing his whereabouts the address flashed on the screen.
"He's at intersection of Bay and Waterline," replied Cisco.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go get him," said Henry walking over towards where his suit stood next to Barry's.
In a flash Barry stood in front of his son. "Not you," commanded Barry.
"But dad," protested Henry.
"No Henry," cutted off Barry. "He's too dangerous. I can't let you get hurt," added Barry. He had face Mister Freeze before. Coming back from each fight with severe frostbite. They took weeks just to heal completely. He didn't want Henry to suffer the same fate too.
"I can help you," pleaded Henry with his shining green-blue eyes.
"You can help me by staying back," said Barry before disappearing in a flash. Standing where he was Henry watched as his father figure ran to the scene.
--------------------------------
5:40 pm
CENTRAL CITY
Standing in the middle of the street Mister Freeze caused chaos. He pointed his gun at cars and buses freezing them in their tracks. People ran around screaming in terror as the madman began to froze people in place. Laughing wickedly, Mister Freeze took pleasure in watching his victim succumbed to the cold. Running as fast as he possibly could, Barry skidded to a stop at scene. He watched in horror as the villain encased people in an icy tomb.
Standing in the Cortex, Henry watched as Cisco pulled up the surveillance of the scene. He had heard about Miser Freeze in his time. He was known as Dr. Victor Fries, a polymath who had studied many areas of physics and chemistry, as well as neurobiology and medicine. As a kid one of his hobbies was freezing animals, and as he grew up he became a murder who took pleasure in freezing his victims.
He was known for going head to head with Batman in Gotham City. He also had an altercation with Superman but never interfered with the Flash. Except for that one time he attempted to steal some technology from STAR LABS, but was quickly stopped and returned to prison by Batman.
Scrunching his eyebrows Henry stared at the screen. What is Freeze doing so far from Gotham City?, thought Henry. Maybe it has something to do with Nora's arrival. Her attempt to change the timeline might have affected some future event. And created some new one as well.
Watching as Mister Freeze began to encase a empty truck in ice, Barry thought it was time to make his presence known.
"I get that your mad at your ex. But don't take it out on their car. That's pretty cold if you ask me," joked The Flash.
"Flash," smirked Freeze turning towards him. "I was wondering when you'll show up," he replied.
"Drop the gun and surrender, Freeze. Believe me. You do not want to go against me," said Barry authoritatively.
"Ohhhh I'm shivering just looking at you," taunted Freeze. "Now hold still, this will just hurt a bit," smirked Freeze pointing his gun at Flash. Seeing the gun pointed at him Barry ran. Emitting an ice blast, Freeze began to point the gun around the street trying to hit the Flash.
Watching the commotion in the Cortex, Caitlin bite her lip in anticipation. She was worried for Barry. The last time he faced Mister Freeze he barely got out of there alive.
"I'm gonna turn you into a Flash-popsicle," laughed Freeze.
"Not if you can catch me first," counteracted Barry avoiding an ice beam. Running around the city streets Barry tried to avoid the ice blast. He ran up and down buildings, cars, buses, anything to distract Mister Freeze from hitting pedestrians. Frustrated with his lack of aim, Freeze began to use his guns scope. His suit was also compacted with a scope giving him an advantage. Zooming in on The Flash, Freeze activated the heat signature monitor from both his suit and gun. He was gonna end this hero once and for all. Targeting on The Flash, Mister Freeze took his shot.
The ice blast shot through the air hitting The Flash. Screaming in eminence pain Barry fell from the building he was running up, hitting the cold wet pavement.
"Barry!" cried Caitlin in the Cortex.
Breathing heavily Barry tried to run but was once again hit with an ice blast. Crying out in pain Barry doubled over by the impact of the blast.
"What is he doing?" questioned Ralph looking at the scene.
"Barry you need to run!" shouted Joe.
"I can't!" screamed Barry once again hit with an ice beam. The cold blast pierced through his suit. He could feel the severe frostbite beginning to form.
"What do you mean you can't?" questioned Iris.
"It hurts," croaked out Barry. Gritting his teeth Barry tried to suppress his scream as Mister Freeze laughed menacingly in the background.
Looking at Barry's heart rate beginning to spike the team began to get worried. "Allen, you need to get out of there NOW!" shouted Harry in worry.
"What happens if he doesn't get out of there in time?" questioned Nora.
"He'll die," breathed out Harry as the only sound in the Cortex was Barry's blood curling scream.
"Come on Barry," prayed Caitlin as a tear ran down her check.
PARALLEL
Trying again with all his might Barry tried to get up. Shooting the hero once again in the back, Mister Freeze took pleasure in hearing his scream. The ice began to encase the hero trapping him in place. He didn't have enough energy to try and faze out. He was trapped. Feeling overwhelmed but the pain Barry began to slowly lose consciousness. He kept thinking of things he missed out on. One of his regret was not telling his son how much he mean't to him.
Watching the commotion from the Cortex Henry held his breath. His heart began to race watching his father in pain. "He's not gonna die," spoke up Henry as everyone looked at him. "Not on my watch," he said before speeding into his suit.
Standing by the entrance to the Cortex Henry began to strap on his mask. Seeing her son getting ready to go out there to fight Caitlin made her way over towards him. Wrapping her arms around him Caitlin held onto her son.
"Be careful out there. Alright?," whispered Caitlin.
"Always," assured Henry before letting go. Nodding at the team Henry raced to his father's rescue. He wasn't gonna lose another family member thanks to Nora's stupidity.
---------------------------------------------
CENTRAL CITY
6:00 pm
Running past building's and shattering glass in his wake, Henry raced to his fathers rescue. Each step he took fueled him in stopping Mister Freeze. He wasn't gonna lose his father after they just started bonding.
Releasing the trigger, Mister Freeze smirked as he watched the ice spreading around the speedsters body encasing him in a block of ice. The screaming of people echoed in the background furling his sinister plan.
"Well would you look at that," taunted Freeze. "The scarlet speedster has finally succumbed to his weakness. Cold," said Freeze admiring his masterpiece. "Looks like the cold did bother you anyway," teased Freeze quoting Frozen.
Charging his gun Freeze aimed it at The Flash. Blinking away the spots Barry watched as Freeze trained his gun on him. "Say goodbye, hero," smirked Freeze.
Closing his eyes Barry waited for the impact. As Freeze placed his finger on the trigger releasing the cold blast a bright light burst through the street standing in front of the speedster. Not feeling the cold blast Barry opened his eyes to see his son standing in front of him. Henry had his arm in an 'X' motion using his own cold power to create a barrier protecting his father from the icy blast. The cold mist traveled around the young speedster turning his hair silver as his eyes glowed piercing blue.
Releasing the trigger Freeze's smirked fell of his face as he stared into the piercing eyes of the new speeder. The icy mist began to clear as blue lighting danced around the young speedsters body. The air temperature dropped radiating Henry's anger. Frost began to form on near by surrounding windows and glass. Freeze gulped as he noticed this speedster had both speed and cold power.
Breathing heavily Henry stared at Mister Freeze. "My turn," growled Henry. Taking a step back Henry released the energy from both his suit along with a cold blast. A blue light radiating his power began to encase the streets as it crumbled the pavement in its wake. As the blast neared Freeze it sent him flying back a couple yards knocking his gun from his hand.
PARALLEL
"Damn," whispered Cisco watching the commotion from the Cortex. Standing behind him Caitlin smirked in victory proud of her son.
Freeze collided with a brick wall that soon crumbled on top of him. Breathing heavily Henry turned his eyes back to normal. Watching as Freeze tried to move the crumbled debris from his body Henry strutted over towards him. Speeding toward him Freeze stared at the speedster who radiated power.
"Need a hand," questioned Henry darkly. Before he could answer Henry yanked Freeze off the the ground dislocating his shoulder in the process. Screaming in pain Henry twisted Freezes hand before shoving him into a nearby wall.
"Don't ever mess with my family again," whispered Henry in Freeze's ear. "Do I make myself clear?" questioned Henry as Freeze nodded his head viciously.
"Yes! Yes!" shouted Mister Freeze with tears running down his face in pain. "Just let me go you son of a bitch!" swore Freeze as Henry let him go.
Looking down at his injured hand, Freeze raised it in the air to examine it. It felt like jello. Most of his bones were either broken or out of place. Glancing back up at the speedster Freeze was meet with a super sonic punch to the face effectively knocking him out. Bending down Henry began to cuff Mister Freeze as he heard the sound of sirens in the distance. After handcuffing Freeze Henry made his way over towards his father.
Laying on the ground, Barry tried to faze himself out of the ice shell. Unfortunately, for him the ice was too thick and the cold was throwing his powers off. Bending down Henry decided to help his father out. Placing his hand on the block of ice Henry fazed crumbling the chunk of ice. Once the ice was finally off Barry fazed trying to regain his normal body temperature.
Once his body temperature regulated Barry looked up at his son. "I told you," began Henry stepping towards him. "You need me," he said offering his hand to help his father up.
PARALLEL [BOTH THESE MEN WILL ALSO BE MAKING AN APPEARANCE]
Looking at his son's hand Barry took it reluctantly. No matter how much he didn't want to admit it he knew Henry was right. He needed him more than he knew.

6:10 pm
MEDICAL WING
Examining his father Henry began to patch up his wounds with the help of his mother.
"Well it appears that you are suffering from fourth degree frostbite. The process where your muscles, tendons, and bones freezes. It can explain the patches layered across your skin. The red or blue skin that is turning dry, black, and rubbery. It's what caused the blisters to appear along with the small blood spots under the skin," diagnosed Henry.
"It's a good thing Henry got you out of there in time," commented Caitlin. "Any second and it would have been deadly," answered Caitlin as she patched up a cut on Barry's cheek.
"Thank you Henry," said Barry catching his son's arm as he walked by. "For everything. I couldn't have done it without you," emphasized Barry staring into his blue-green eyes. He had finally realized that he needed Henry more than he thought he did.
