" Ok, everyone, settle down. It's time to start." Said Gotsuki- sensei (1) as she wrote her name on the board." I'm Roiu Gotsuki and I'll be teaching home room and science. Pleasure to meet you all. Now the schedule is written on the board and if you have any questions, I'll answer as best as I can."

She sounded really natural, like she's done this before. As I wrote the schedule, I realized that all of the classes were only with three teachers. Not just that, but it looks like they were taking turns watching over me. First was home room with Roiu, then was history with Reikon, later was gym with Kiru. After that, the loop started again with science, English and math, the same order, Roiu, Reikon and Kiru. Something told me that my dad was behind this, but they are familiar teachers so I guess that this is what my dad said about being comfortable in my classes. So I had nothing to worry about.

The class took longer than what I was used to, but the bell finally decided to ring. So I changed classes and went to the history room.

" Naku, I separated a seat for you next to the door so the sunlight can't reach you. Your next class is gym so I told Kiru to take the class to the indoor gym." Said Reikon with a smile.

" Thanks for the heads up. I was getting worried about the next class." I said relieved.

" Welcome students, I'm Reikon Yamatsuki and you'll be taking history and math with me. So I know that school just started and you still want some more free time, but you have to open your books to the first unit on section three, page twenty-three. If we finish early, I'll consider giving you guys free time." Said Reikon. Again. They do this so naturally that it scares me. Why can't I do the same?

"Why do we have to start with this subject. We practically jumped like three chapters." Said Takira.

" Because I thought that this would be a more interesting subject. And because it's shorter. Anyway, this is history from another place, it's not the Japanese history that you're used to taking. " Replied the teacher. I quickly glance at the book and checked to see what place it came from.

" This is from my place." I said to myself in a low voice. The history that we were taking was gonna be from my dimension. Once again, my dad is behind this. I wondered what happened to my friends over there. The last thing I remember was that my dad lied to them saying that I got captured and taken away.

" This was the battle in which the northern part of the country signed a treaty with the eastern part in order to gain commercial routes. Now, who can tell me why the northern wanted commercial routes?" Asked the teacher.

" Because the east was in control of the oceans until the end of the century. Later, the west invaded the east taking control of the commercial routes and cutting the supplies to the north. After thirty decades, the south decided to take action and formed an alliance with the north. The west didn't want that, so they went and started a raid on the north. A few months later the northwest corner took down the west and joined the east and the south. After fifty years of war the west surrendered and signed a peace treaty. Now all four corners are called the four clans and... I think that's it." I replied with a serious look as if I was there while it happened.

" You learned that in one night?!" Asked my teacher surprised at the answer.

" No. I learned it after I opened the book." I answer with another straight look. The bell rang and I got up to leave.

" Naku. Stay for a moment." Said the teacher. He opened the drawer and pulled out my physical uniform." Use this for your next class. And stop giving the class for me. That's my job." Said Reikon as he laughed.

" So, I change uniforms in the shower?" I asked. He nodded and I went straight to the gym.

" Whoa! A butler!" Said one of the kids from the smaller groups. His class must have ended just now.

" Master. I've been waiting for you. This way please." Said the butler as he guided me through a secret entrance.

" Took you long enough. Hurry up and change. We're playing dodgeball today." Said Kiru. I quickly changed clothes and went out to the gym. I sat down on the floor and waited for the class to start. Then, we picked out the teams.

" Just because we know what we are doesn't mean that we can go easy on each other" I said to Kiru. He laughed.

" I never planned to go easy on you. Hajimaru (2)!" He said blowing on the whistle. I think he chose to be on the opposite team just so he could do this.

As he threw the ball, I would avoid it with such agility that I could feel the rush of power. After a long while, the game was just between me and him. He threw the ball and it would just bounce back from the wall after I dogged it.

" Takira thinks that you look cuter that way! She said that she would fall for hot, sweaty guys like-" Makori couldn't finish her sentence because Takira started choking her.

" Shut your big, blabber mouth Makori!" Said Takira as she almost turned Makori into a living version of hangman.

" Don't get distracted!" Said Kiru as he threw the ball towards my face. Stopping it with my left arm, I looked at him.

" Game over." I said, dropping the ball. The bell rings and it's a three hour break. I head to the showers and Kiru grabs me by the arm.

" This way." He said as he pulled me to the secret shower built for me." Here is your shower. I'll be next door. We also have a private shower. If you get confused next time, remember, yours is the one with the gold tub that looks like a pool. That was a great game. I never thought you'd stop a direct throw like that."

" I also impressed the history teacher when I gave him the entire history class in a few simple sentences." I said as I closed the door. When I got in the tub, I just couldn't stop myself from going underwater. I lost track of time and spent an entire hour there. The butler dried me up and I got dressed. After the first bell I decided to go to the lunch room.

" Over here!" Said Roiu as she waved her hand to show where I had to sit. The table was reserved just for the teachers, but I guess I can sit with them.

" What are we having today?" I asked.

" Today is a special delicacy master. Some blood wine to drink accompanied by the main course, sirloin steak with shrimps and caviar, appetizer are grilled fish and for dessert, grounded rock candy on top of a cake with frosting fillings and pudding." Said the butler as he gave the chef the order.

" You had me at blood, cake, rock candy and pudding." I said with my stomach growling.

" It sure was nice to have our table outdoors, under the tent and away from all the noise. It's peaceful out here, isn't it?" Asked Reikon.

" It is, but I'm not here to have fancy food. I'm here to look for my brother. I'm on a deadline." I say as I dug into my food.

" We'll help you. We just have to rule down the possibilities." Said Roiu.

" I wonder how long it's going to take." I say as I eat the last of the pudding. After that, the days went by. Weeks passed and still no luck.

" Hey Naku, do you wanna hangout with us?" Asked Takira as we changed our books in the lockers. I put my books in the locker and shut the door.

" Sure, why not. I need someone to hang out with. Might as well hang out with you." I answer as we walk in the classroom. The class went faster than expected so we were let out early. As the others left I started to put away my things.

" Naku, we need to talk." Said Reikon.

" I'll wait for you outside." Said Takira.

" What's wrong?" I ask.

" We ruled out all the possibilities in your group. So we only have one more possible group to check." Said Kiru as he walked into the classroom.

I felt like everything was going as planned. So I left to hang out with Takira. I was relieved to know that it's going so fast. Soon, the last week of school came and it was my last year in that grade, but it also meant that I only have a little bit more than a year to finish my mission.

" Hey guys, can you believe that the school year is almost over?" Asked Makori." By the way, what can we do together during the summer?"

" I won't be here during the summer. I'm going on vacation. My dad is taking me on a cruise." Said Takira.

" Me either. I'm going to be in the private island that my dad got me for the holidays." I said as we approached the stairs. I suddenly remembered that I left my books in the classroom." I have to pick something up. Catch you guys later."

As I run through the hallway I crash into a boy from the advanced group.

" Gomen'nasai!(3)" I said as I got up and rushed through the door.

" You left this." Said Roiu.

" Thanks. I have to go now. See you at the limo." I said as I opened the door.

" Wait. You aren't going to be in the basic classes next year. You are being moved to the advanced group." Said Kiru.

" Really?! Because I just crashed into a student from that group and I don't want him to go after me next year." I say nervously.

" Yeah. We're changing the classes too." Said Reikon as he put the papers in the file cabinet.

" And these students are really good, they won't try to hurt you." Added Kiru.

" Fine. But I'm doing this because that's the group that is left to search." I said as I left to find my friends.

As I walked down the empty hallway, I got a nostalgic feeling, the memories of the year. The time I bumped into Takira while she was holding buckets of water and we both got so drenched that Kiru had to knock everyone out before they found out about the secret. Or the moment when Makori brought her Emerald necklace and I was following her like a creepy stalker and Roiu had to chain me to the wall.

" Those were the good times." I said to myself as I looked back.

So, just like that, summer started and the only thing that I could ever think of was to go to the beach. But the sun would burn me to ashes. So I went with the other thing that I could think of, go to sleep. Later I realized that it would be a waste of time.

" Dad pick up the communication spell!" I said as I tried to reach the ice cream in the top shelf of the freezer.

" Ah! Naku. How was your first year? Did you make friends? Did you find your brother?" My father asked cheerfully.

" My first year was complicated, at first. Yes, I made friends. No, I didn't find my brother." I replied with a bucket full of ice cream.

" Hurry up. You almost wasted a year." Said my father as he hung up.

" I'm gonna get him for hanging up on me. I just have to wait. Patience." I said to myself.

We headed back to the mansion, a week before my second school year. The vacation tired me out so much that the only thing I did for a couple of days was hang out with my friends in my mansion. Two days before school started, I didn't even go out of my room. I never knew that vacations could tire someone out. All I wanted was to sleep and get sweet dreams. Literally. I wanted to dream about so many sweets that even my brain could get a cavity.
