I was waiting for Migeki to answer but he just trembled at the memory.

"The Dark Ruler. He's always wearing a mask isn't he?" Migeki managed to say.

"As far as we know, yes. Some say it's because he got in an accident and the doctors had to remove his sense of sight. We all know that it's not true because we were there when he got rid of the bandages." Kiru answered.

"His plan was always kept a secret. He only gave us orders to hunt down the creatures on the list. You guys were on the list." Migeki confessed.

"If he wants us that badly, he's probably gonna be at the party tomorrow. We might have a chance to catch Rigeki there." I planned.

The next day went by really slow. Nothing was out of the ordinary. That was until Yukai walked up to me during lunch break and started to talk about whatever came to his mind. After what seemed like an eternity, I headed towards my locker and saw a bunch of people whispering to each other. Everything was about the same thing that's been going on for the past couple of days, who was getting invited to the party.

When I open my locker, I pull out some invitations and suddenly a lot of people surrounded me and were waiting patiently to see who would get to go. I turned around with my invitations and, to my surprise, found Takira standing in front of me with a big smile.

"Who are you planning on inviting?" She asked with a sweet tone.

"I'm not sure yet. There are so many decisions to make and so little time." I sighed.

She smirked when I secretly gave her an invite. "Oh Naku, I don't know what I'll do without you."she giggled.

The last class finally arrived and I was happy that I got rid of all the invitations to my closest friends. I couldn't wait for the party until I realized that I had to get ready for it.

"I almost forgot... WHAT AM I GONNA WEAR?!!!!!! I was so busy with the invitations that I forgot about the most important part of the party... ME!" I screamed at the mirror and saw Riuyo and Kuriagi standing at the door.

"Naku, I don't know why you're stressing out over what you're gonna wear." Kuriagi said reassuringly.

"Yeah. It's just picking out a good outfit, right?" Riuyo asked.

"Oh dear... Riuyo, you shouldn't have asked that." Kuriagi trembled.

"Why? Was I wrong in asking that?" Riuyo asked nervously.

"J-... Just a good outfit?... JUST A GOOD OUTFIT?!" I stared at Riuyo with eyes that screamed the word "run"

"N-Naku? You ok there buddy?" Riuyo worried.

"Riuyo...? I think it's better if you start running while you still have some percentage of survival left because right now, there's very little." Kuriagi said while walking backwards to get some distance between us.

"K-Kuriagi... Help?" Riuyo asked desperately.

~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~

After we arrived at the party, I started setting up the lights while Riuyo was still recovering from a... "Tragic accident".

"Where's Riuyo?" Kiru asked.

"Nurse's office." Shibaki said while bringing the speakers.

"Why's he there when there's still a lot of work to do?!" Kiru complained.

"Got in the bad side with Naku while Naku was stressing over his outfit." Jinriu answered.

"It's amazing he's still alive after such a mistake." Rojin shuddered.

"Not really. He was running as fast as he could. In the end, no one could ever outmatch Naku." Satori chuckled.

"At least we're almost finished. There's not much to do." Riuyo said while walking in with a bunch of freshly healed scars.

"Poor, poor Riuyo. I can still hear his soft voice in the air." Rojin joked.

"I'm right here you stupid Baka." Riuyo growled.

"And he was so young. He was only 1,700 years old." Satori played along.

"OI!!! I'M RIGHT HERE!!!!" Riuyo yelled while everyone was joking around.

"Ignoring Riuyo for a minute, everyone form a line so I can see your outfits for a minute. I think there might be some upgrade that I can give them at the last minute." I said as I pulled Riuyo along.

Everyone lined up side by side and I started to look at the simple clothes they were in.

"Just as I thought." I sighed, " Plain and boring won't do."

I formed a Necrocircle under everyone with a different color so I could identify them.

"There. Now I can see you without actually seeing you." I joked.

A couple of hours later, the party was at it's peak and we were all having a great time. Well... Most of us. The truth is that most of us were dancing and lost ourselves in the excitement. When I looked for a place to catch my breath, I saw Yukai leaning against the wall and just watching everything go by.

"Um... Yukai-san?..." I started. "What are you doing here by yourself? You should be having fun." I walked towards him.

"Huh? I can't hear you, the music is kinda loud." He said as he leaned closer.

"N-never mind. I was just asking about something but it can wait." I said while trying to change the subject.

"Ok then..." He said confused.

As he walked away, I felt a pull that made me reach out for him but I stopped myself before I could get a hold of his hand.

"What am I doing?" I sighed. "I should be having fun. It's not everyday you get to go to a different dimension."

I walked back to the group of my friends and we just started to dance and talk an just let loose.

"I sense... Something... Something bad." Riuyo said nervously.

"Come with me guys. I have to do something." I said as I pulled everyone along.

We walk into an empty classroom while the party was still going.

"Something wrong?" Kuriagi asked.

I used a Necrocircle to change everyones clothes back to normal. "You're gonna need these." I said as I pulled out power crystals.

"What are we gonna do with these?" Asked Shibaki.

"They'll activate your powers so you can use them under any situation. You just have to drink them like pills." I said as I swallowed my crystals.

After everyone drank their crystals, we headed back to the gym and expected the worst. While I acted casually, I saw Yukai alone again and I walked up to him.

"It's a good thing we can activate our crystals whenever we want now. Otherwise he'd flip when he sees me using my powers." I thought before standing next to him.

"Hey Naku. Why did you walk out with your friends?" Yukai asked.

"Oh... We were just walking and talking about our plans for this week." I replied. "C-can I tell you something?"

"Sure. You can tell me anything." He smiled.

Just when I was about to talk, we heard an explosion outside of the school. We all rushed out to see what happened but we found something entirely horrible.

"Naku Tsukishiro... What a pleasant surprise that we get to see each other again... Especially after all those excruciating painful years without a taste of that delicious soul you have." A familiar voice said before the figure appeared from the smoke with two others.

"Migeki, how could you betray master like that? How could you betray me?! Your own brother. How!?" The person on the right said with his voice cracking.

"Rigeki, he's not our master. Don't you understand? He's using you. Our real master is Naku." Migeki explained.

"Oh save your family problems for someone who actually cares. Right now, I'm here for you." The one in the middle said while pointing at me.

"This isn't over Rigeki." Migeki clenched his fists.

"We'll continue this discussion on the battlefield... Brother dear." Rigeki scoffed.

"Kaizuke... Be an angel and bring Naku to me with your claws in his dead corpse." The guy signaled at the one standing on his left.

"Yes... Master Kuro." Kaizuke said before walking towards us.

"Kaizuke?" I asked myself. "Now it's on. The Dark Lord will pay. And what an amazing event that it turns out that he's standing right behind Kaizuke, giving orders like if he was a king of some sort." I laughed.

"How dare you mock the master like that?" Rigeki yelled. "Kaizuke, back off. He's gonna deal with me."

"Oh goodie. Two trophies for the price of one. This would be interesting. Let's see if you can survive the school on blackout with only me to worry about." I smirked.

"So be it. But in the end, one of them will bring your corpse to me. I'll be waiting at my new palace. You know... The one that belongs to you. Well... Not after your tragic death and that of your family. Oh goodness look at the time. Catch you later... Prince Naku. I hope you survive those two." The Dark Lord said while going back to my dimension.

"This isn't good. We have to deal with these two if we wanna go back and save your family." Jinriu said with a shiver.

"Don't worry. Let's just lure them into the school and cause the blackout." I said as we all head back to start the battle.

Finally posted this chapter. I hope you guys like it. It took me so long because I was facing a very horrible event... Writers block. [insert dramatic music]
