*Clara's P.O.V.*

"How in Ninjago's name can you be the daughter of the Overlord?!?!?!"

My hands flew to my head, as I complained, "Jay, stop yelling! Our ears are gonna explode."

The Ninja, Sensei Garmadon and I sat on the floor in a circle, since no one wanted to sit on my bed. Lloyd patted my shoulder, saying, "Start when you're ready."

I inhaled and exhaled.

Here goes nothing.

"There's a lot," I began my story by saying, "But I guess it begins with my mother. My mom was stubborn, brave, yet occasionally hot headed. Of couse she was part of a cult. Anyway, they decided to do the Overlord Bride rite, and guess who got to be the lucky bride? I doubt anyone thought that it would work... but the ancient ceremony turned out to be the real thing...."

"Woah! Woah! Woah! Stop it right there!" Jay explained, "How were you even born?!?"

"Jay! Don't interrupt Clara's story!" Cole scolded, then he turned to me and asked, "Please, continue."

I motioned to Jay, continuing, "To answer Jay's question, I was never born."

Jay giggled, socking Cole's arm.

"I was grown."

Jay's face was priceless!

"Grown? How?" Asked Lloyd, as everyone stared at me.

I shrugged, saying, "To be honest, I don't know. What I do know is that I gained both powers of my parents; Darkness from my father and Amber from my mother."

"That would make you Skylor's sister!" Kai gasped.

I facepalm and said, "No, it doesn't, Kai. Skylor's mother is my aunt."

"Oh."

"Anyway, I was not what the Overlord expected. He wanted me to be cold and heartless; I have such a caring heart that my dad threw a fit of rage when I was born! The Overlord ordered for me to be killed...."

The Ninja gasp.

"But my mom took me and ran. She managed to reach the Toxic Bogs, where a minion of the Overlord tracked us down. I believe that he is either Ash's father, or the Master of Smoke himself.

My mother never left the Toxic Bogs alive.

A traveling couple found me, and took me in as there own. But, of course, they too had to be in a cult. But this cult was different. Instead of idolizing the Overlord, they idolized the Serpentine, injecting themselves with venom to gain powers."

"Ugh, snakes. Why does it have to be snakes?" Jay groaned.

I continued on, "When I was 6, I was chosen to be injected with venom of each Serpentine race, minus the Great Devourer. That's when my powers first manifested.... and that was the first time I ever killed anyone.... My parents, having no choice, hid me from the world, learning and teaching me how to control my powers.

But the Serpenthood doesn't let traitors and killers go THAT easily.

My adoptive parents died, while I and I alone escaped. There were no Survivors, on either sides; my powers made sure of that."

I lowered my head in shame. 2 hands fell onto my shoulders; Lloyd and Garmadon. "But how do you know Sensei Garmadon?" Asked Cole, motioning to the Sensei sitting by my side. A smirk appeared on my face as I sat up, replying,

"Well, the first time I met him, he was no 'Sensei'! *Giggles from Jay*. When I first met Garmadon, he was leading the Serpentine. Unknowingly to you Ninja, 'Lord' Garmadon was training orphan or troubled children, like me, to be his followers. His own Ninja Team.

I was everything Garmadon hoped for in a student; smart, obedient... and having powers. Sensei helped me to control my emotions, and thus taught me how to control my abilities. We developed a father/daughter type of relationship...

Until a mission was made to kill you guys."

The Ninja glanced between a nervous Sensei Garmadon and me, as Jay squirmed, "I don't like the sound of this..."

I raised my hands and reassured them, "But I refused to follow out the mission, when it was assigned to me.

Instead, I ran.

Eventually, I would be adopted, yet again; this time by a family who took in orphans and children with troubled lives. I have helped to take in many more children off the street ever since. So, yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!"

"Wow...." Kai whispered, saying, "You're related to Skylor!"

Lloyd face palmed.

Cole looked towards me and asked, "But did the Serpentine venom ever give you any of the snakes powers?" I shook my head, revealing, "I'm not to sure. I think it only strengthened my powers.... I think."

Lloyd helped me as the Ninja, Sensei Garmadon and I stood. Then I asked, "You guys aren't mad at me, are you...?"

The Ninja side glanced each other, then Kai answered me, "Doesn't anger me a bit."

"I think your past story is really cool!..." Everyone glares at Jay. "....and tragic. Cool and tragic."

Cole patted my shoulder, saying, "As long as your against your dad and not for him, then you're welcomed to the team."

I smiled at Lloyd and Garmadon, then declared, "Let's save Zane, my children and Ninjago... together!" We gave off small bursts of our powers, as we declared,

"GO, NINJA! GO!"

***3rd person P.O.V.****

That was the day when the protectors of Ninjago accepted the daughter of the Overlord as one of there own. But someone had been listening to the story of Clara's past....

Who could it be?

Yeah! I've been wanting to write this chapter ever since I created Clara! (Up above is how Clara was grown; think the Matrix, perhaps?)
