Party in the City

Now--

"Come on little Mr. Uptight." I say my fangs flashing in a dark glossy painted smile as I attempt at luring him into the dancing crowd.

"I think I'm good here Ash." my most loyal companion says, his grin sarcastic as he scans my attire of thigh high boots, mini skirt, and laced long sleeve.

"Donovan, I came here to party, to let go, do it with me." I say my hands on my hips my joking wink following the statement.

He stands up in front of me as he rolls his green eyes answering, "You've been let go for as long as I've known you." His smile mocking as he flicks back a strand of my wildly curled dark mass of hair.

I get on my toes, my mouth to his ear as I whisper, "I might just get so upset I kill someone over this you know. Such a gory mess that would be." I giggle as I sit back on my heels. I look over at a small blonde, obviously underage for this being a bar, her side to us. I trace my finger in the air and watch as an 'A' surfaces on the girls skin in blood as the cuts start to bleed.

She turns around and panics on slightly before grabbing a paper towel and taking care of it. I look over to Donovan finding his head cocked to the side and his serious face in place.

"You and your princess royalty sized fits ." He says dryly. I pout in return my fangs sliding back into their place in my gums.

"If you didn't love it you wouldn't be here." I say biting the bottom lip of my smile as I take his hand and lead him into the crowd.

Nickolas:

I sit across the bar, sipping the glass of tequila watching the girl's hair fly in the air as she dances freely within the crowd with her partner.

There was definitely something about her. It caught your attention, something dangerous. Reckless. Careless. But she seemed happy nonetheless. She's killed over hundreds in her sixty years of existence. She looks like she finished transition around twenty or so. Usually only take a few days, a week at most. But she is a hybrid, of what, is the thing I need to know.

"Hey Nikkie." I hear Liz's voice. With a roll of my eyes I look over at the tall blonde behind me.

"What are you doing here?" I ask exasperated as she sits on the barstool next to me.

"Wondering where the little tramp is." She says her voice disgusted as if revolted by the thought of her.

"Calm it, little spit fire." I say chuckling at her bluntness.

She sighs in return asking, "So?"

"Well, she has cut a letter into a girl's arm so far. It was an "A""

"Eh, not very original is she?" Liz says as she looks around aimlessly.

"I think shes half witch." I say leaving the girl to it.

"Full on little witch if I do say so myself." I hear a different tone of voice behind me. I turn around in the stool until I see the face I was just watching dancing to "My House"

"Ashlynn, is it?" Liz asks her voice already taking on a snarky edge. Taking a sip of my drink I watch as I feel a small grin grow on my face. This will be promising.

The girls eyes change from the dark hue to an icy white, her smile curling her dark pouty lips as she answers, "The one and only, and you are?" she asks.

"Elizabeth Peirce." she replies her hands grasping the edge of the bar. Ashlynn's gaze travels to me as she tilts her to the side her curls falling in effect.

"You can call me Ash though." She says her eyes mischevious as they dwell into mine.

"Nickolas." I reply. Her fangs make an appearance as her smile turns sinister.

She clicks her tongue as she says, "Hunters come to ruin my perfectly innocent night."

"I have a hard time believing any one of your nights are innocent." Liz mutters before giving me a knowing look and walking away. I look over at Ashlynn giving her a disapproving look.

"You went and ran off my little friend, that's not very nice." I say sarcastically.

"It would be in your best interest to leave me alone pretty boy." She says her ice cold winter colored eyes daggering me.

"Oh come now, no need to be overly dramatic." I say chuckling in amusement. She leans over the bar her lips parted as if she were going to say something only to freeze in place her eyes seemingly lost on me. She leans back.

"Well then, you're a new one, not the same are you? As all of the others the Ring has sent after me, I have never had one who had their own pair of fangs." she says. I notice her nibbling on her bottom lip making me smile ever so slightly.

"Nervous oh great and powerful hybrid?" I ask an amused tone to my voice.

She leans over again her whisper definite and soft, "I have nothing to be nervous about." She gives me mischievous look, a twinkle in her now dark eyes before flipping her long hair over her shoulders and walking out of the club, my eyes following every step.
