Leaving

It never got easier.

Kai'sa hated having to pack her bags and leave you. She felt like a father going to get milk. Only, you know, she comes back.

But today was the day that she would be leaving over seas to start the tour with everyone.

Everyone who was currently in your house. At 4 AM.

Akali: Now, you have to remember to feed him everyday before you go to work and when you get home. Trash is kinda whiney when he doesn't eat.

Akali held up her cat, who looked more bored than upset that his owner was leaving, before she handed him to you.

You looked at the cat who looked up at you.

Trash: <Meow>

Y/N: Uh, hey.

You stuffed the cat under your arm and looked at the others.

Akali: I really appreciate you looking after our stuff while we're gone.

You just waved it off. Unlike the girls, who were dressed and ready to deal with society, you were still in your pajamas. You didn't have to go in to work for another two hours.

Manager: Are you sure you don't want to come with us? I mean, no one would stop you. Plus, it might be nice to have a guy around.

You polity waved the suggestion off.

Y/N: I appreciate the offer, but I have a lot of work that needs to be done.

The girls, minus Evelynn, expressed their sadness over the fact that you wouldn't be going with them. But your attention was on someone else.

Kai'sa stood off to the side, making sure she had everything she would need. The others watched as you walked over to her. You set Trash on the ground, he simply walked away, and got her attention.

Y/N: Hey. You good to go?

Kai'sa stood up and nodded.

She hated leaving you on your own like this. She knew you were more than capable of taking care of yourself, but she still didn't like....well....sleeping alone.

She had gotten so used to having you with her every night that she felt cold when you weren't there. Like something important was missing.

Y/N: I'll see you when you get back. Just like always, right?

Kai'sa: R-Right. Yeah.

You placed a hand under her chin and made her look at you.

Y/N: Hey, you know you can always call or text. I'll answer.

Kai'sa smiled a bit. You leaned down and kissed her while the others watched, a bit jealous, before you pulled away.

Y/N: 2 months.

Kai'sa nodded.

Kai'sa: 2 months.

Home Alone

Day six of being without your wife.

Trash was still alive, though you were sure Akali will ultimately be the death of him, and happy. The two of you have actually gotten on good terms. And, of course, you talked to Kai'sa almost every night.

Though you found yourself kinda bored. You would go to work, take care of Trash, cook dinner for one, and play video games.

It was pretty cool, but you also wanted something to do.

So, by the first week, you were hanging out with your friends more.

By week two, you and Ezreal were going to an amusement park to ride every ride.

By week three, you realized you haven't shaved for a while. You had a bit of a beard growing.

You decided to keep it.

Y/N: Trash!

The cat looked at you.

Y/N: Let's go to a cat Cafe.

Trash: <Meow>

The first month had officially passed, and you were now full blown mountain man with a full beard and a loyal companion.

You even started to wear flannels.

It was a month an a week into the tour when you got a phone call. You were on the couch, eating a turkey leg with no plate, when you reached over and answered.

Y/N: Hello?

Manager: Y/N? Uh, your voice sounds....deeper.

You just chewed on your turkey leg.

Manager: Well, I wanted to talk to you about something. I had an idea.

You raised a brow.

Kai'sa loved meeting fans. It was one of her favorite parts of going on tour and having shows.

But she absolutely hated not having you around. She would call and text every once and a while, but she missed actually having you around.

Though, she did like being around the girls.

Akali: Where's my bra?

Kai'sa watched the youngest member of KDA walk around trying to find a bra. She wore a shirt, but the paparazzi were just waiting for a slip up.

Kai'sa: Check your room.

Akali nodded and walked over to her room. Kai'sa looked over to the Manager to see that she was looking at her phone. She suddenly stood up and turned to her.

Manager: Hey, tell the others that I'll be back. I have to pick something up.

Kai'sa: O-Oh. Okay. Be safe.

The manager just nodded. She left soon after.

Kai'sa laid down on the suite's couch and decided to try and rest a bit.

Ahri: Heya, bud.

Kai'sa opened her eyes to see Ahri leaning over the couch. She smiled and Kai'sa sat up.

Kai'sa: Hey. How did that Sype interview go?

Ahri: Pretty well. Are you ready for tomorrow's show?

Kai'sa nodded.

Ahri: You seem upset. What's wrong?

Kai'sa just sighed before she shyly rubbed her arm.

Kai'sa: Just kinda...missing Y/N.

Ahri: Oh.

She looked at the TV and got an idea.

Ahri: Hey, wanna watch a movie?

The two ended up watching a movie. Akali eventually joined them as well, laying her head on Kai'sa's lap, and the three enjoyed the flick.

And then, their manager came back.

Manager: Hey, ladies. I have a surpise.

Akali: Strippers?

Manager: No. We talked about this, Kali.

Akali stuck her tongue out.

Y/N: Wait, you guys have strippers?

The girls all lifted their heads at your voice.

You stepped into the room which made Kai'sa stand up. Akali just fell to the floor. Kai'sa immediately ran over to you and jumped on you. You managed to catch her as she hugged you tightly.

Kai'sa: What are you doing here?!

You set her down and smiled.

Y/N: Figured I'd visit.

Akali: Trash!

Akali ran over to her cat and hugged it. The cat actually seemed happy to see her again.

Kai'sa smiled at you, but then noticed something.

Kai'sa: Is that a beard?

You smiled.

Y/N: It is.

You and Kai'sa had yet to discuss the kiss from the other day.

But you both carried on like it never happened.

Even though it did.

And you were both totally still thinking about it.

But, you didn't like not understanding this feeling you were feeling. And your friends weren't exactly helpful in this.

Kayn: Maybe you should kill you.

Jinx: Kayn!

Kayn: Just saying.

Ezreal: Maybe don't kill her, but you should maybe, I dunno, talk to her about it?

One of those options was better than the other.

If you just killed her....

No. Wait. Ezreal had a point. Maybe you should talk to her about it.

But, where would you even start?

You had no clue. So, you made a choice.

Kai'sa was already on the roof when you showed up to join her. She greeted you with the same smile, but slowly lost it when she saw the look on your face.

Kai'sa: What's wrong? Are you....

Y/N: I want to talk to you about that kiss. Like, over dinner or a movie or something. Just you and me. Together. Alone.

Kai'sa looked at you with wide eyes for a moment.

Kai'sa: Huh? You want to ask me out? Okay.

You both stared at each other for a moment. Then, it hit you both at the same time.

You had a date with Kai'sa.

This was going to end horribly, wasn't it?
