Ivy's POV

The snake man was being taken down into the dungeons. I hugged the Queen. "Um. What's this?" She asked disgusted. "It's called a hug." I said happily. She tapped me on the head. "When are we going?" I ask excitedly. The Queen looked at me. 

"Did you hit your head dear?" She asked. "Nope." I said. She turned and cackled. Explosions were heard underground. I groaned. The Queen handed me a sword. I smiled and ran down to the dungeons. Ravenna and Fiera were at it again. I banged the sword on their cell. "SHUT UP!" I yelled. They stopped. 

The snake man hissed and clawed at his cell. "You!" He hissed. I banged my sword in front of him. He jumped back. "Hiss again and it'll meet your face." I snapped. He sat down on this little wooden bench. "Ivy. What's gotten into you?" Freya asked. My necklace glowed. 

"Ivy dear." The Queen said. "I'm right here." I said. "Bring the 3 animals up here." She said. "Ok." I said. "What animals?" Fiera asked. "She means you." I said. I opened their cell door and snapped. Shackles appeared on their wrists. "Ivy!" Ravenna said. "Following orders." I said. 

I shoved them up the stairs and into the throne room. The Queen was sitting on her throne. Vines appeared from the floor and wrapped around their ankles. I stood next to the Queen. "What do you want?" Ravenna snapped. I pointed my sword at her neck. "Watch your tone." I said sternly. "Or what?" Fiera asked. 

The Queen put poison sap on the tip of the sword. My veins lightly glowed purple. My sisters looked at the Queen in fear. Freya started crying. "She'll stab you with it." The Queen said cackling. I grunted a little. "Stop! You're going to kill her!" Fiera screamed. My veins glowed purple. "You know I'll never kill her." The Queen said. I lit up inside. 

"Unless she betrays me." The Queen the said darkly. My heart dropped. The pain from being near the poison grew stronger. "Stop!" Freya yelled. I then bent down on the floor. The sword fell out of my hand and clanged against the floor. The poison spread across the tiles. I flew up so it wouldn't touch me. My sisters look at it terrified. 

I snapped and the vines flew apart and the shackles unlocked themselves. "IVY! That wasn't part of the plan!" The Queen shouted. "Whops." I said, looking at the poison. The guards walked in and started slipping across the room. "Get down here Ivy!" The Queen yelled. "Nope. Sorry." I said. The Queen whistled and Shadow came flying at me. 

I clapped and blew some of my magic dust at him. He shook his head and looked at me. His colors turned white like a snow owl. He sat on my shoulder. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY PET?!?" The Queen shrieked. "Sorry. She's mine now." I huffed. Ravenna and Fiera laughed at the Queen. Freya pet my new owl. 

"Snow. Call the others." I said. She hooted and disappeared. "You betrayed me! I'll kill you!" She said at me angrily. "Go ahead. I have my family now." I said in a serious tone. My hands glowed green. Snow came back with the animals of the night. "Keep her busy." I told Ravenna. She cracked her knuckles. "With pleasure." She said happily. 

I flew down to the animals. They looked at me funny. I blew the same dust at them. They shook their heads and then smiled at me. Freya flew down next to me. "Take me to the Temple of Raven and Mystique." I said. Freya touched my shoulder. "You can't go there!" She said. I hugged her. "They can help me. Besides, they are my cousins. 

The castle shook. "Ivy! Look out!"
