I must have fallen asleep at some point, for I yawned myself awake the next morning. A metallic taste tinted my mouth, making me realise that my beowolf fangs had been forced out and my human teeth had taken their rightful place within my mouth, excluding the four fangs I always had.
As my eyes adjusted to the morning light, two faces swam into view. I jerked upwards, slamming my head on the bottom of Blake's bookcase. The shelves wobbled, 'Ninja's of Love' fell, as if in slow motion, landing open on my face. The joint cackling of Ruby and Nora plagued my ears.
"Blake. Get this filth off of my face, before I rip it to shreds and feed it to Zwei" I spoke through gritted teeth.
Blake quickly removed the 'book' from my face, clutching it to her chest, her cheeks tinted red as Ruby and Nora burst into fresh peels of laughter. I glared at them, my eyes shifting to beowolf red. They immediately shut up.
Ruby slid some bacon stripes onto a stick and held it towards me, attempting to apologise. Weiss looked disgusted.
"Ruby Rose, there is no way in hell Dusk is going to eat that! She's not an animal!" She spoke, close to yelling. I, however, stared at the bacon, drool dribbling down my chin. Weiss face palmed.
"It's ok Weiss, I know how to solve this!" Nora said, grabbing the bacon stick. Well...more like sang, but oh well. She walked over to Yang and plucked one, single hair from her head. Yang's irises went red.
Everyone hid beneath a bed as Yang's hair lit up. Everyone, that is, apart from Nora, who held the stick of bacon strips above the burning blonde, cooking the bacon. Once Yang was calm, I climbed out from under the bed, along with the others.
"Here ya go, Dusky!" Nora spoke in a shrill, sing-songy voice, handing me the now cooked bacon. Before anyone could react, I had devoured every piece.
"Holy Smokes!" Yang exclaimed, "that was awesome! You took less than 10 seconds to eat a whole pack of bacon!"
Blake chuckled, then looked at the clock.
"We're gonna be late" she muttered.
"Late for what Blakey?" I asked, still chewing some bacon.
"There's a Faunus rally going on. Velvet and Sun will be there, along with RW-Y, C--Y and JNPR. Fox can't make it though, he has to visit his little sister in hospital. She broke her leg" Blake responded.
"Can I come too?" My eyes sparkled in hope.
"No."
"But-"
"No buts." She spoke whilst glaring softly. Nora and Ruby were giggling like little kids behind her.
My pupils enlarged, my ears pulled back and I started pouting, causing everyone to 'Awww'. Everyone, that is, apart from Blake, who remained stubborn.
"Dusk, you know puppy eyes don't effect me" her words were cold. This is when I began to whimper as well, knowing she hated it when I was whimpering. She sighed.
"Fine"
I grinned, happily wagging my tail. Ruby clung onto me.
"Teach me your ways senpai" she begged.
"Maybe another time Rubes"
Not long later we were at the rally. Both sides were shouting racial slurs at each other. Blake, Velvet and I stood at the front of the rally, along with Sun. The rest of team RWBY and CFVY (minus Fox) stood behind us, along with team JNPR.
Looking at the human side, I could see team CRDL near the front, along with a news team, the camera focused on Weiss.
"What's with the camera crew?"
"Dusk, there is a SCHNEE supporting Faunus. Does that answer your question?", Blake replied.
Before I could respond, a brick smashed into my jaw. Clutching where the brick had hit, I glanced around for the perpetrator, just in time to see Velvet get hit in the face with a chocolate egg. That's when all hell broke loose.
Whilst everyone was at each other's throats, Weiss was being interviewed by the news team, though she looked like she wanted to punch someone in the face....with Mystrander. Ren was unsuccessfully attempting to hold Nora back whilst Jaune seemed confused.
Coco was first to be arrested, for as soon as Velvet was hit, she transformed her bag into her gun and began firing it towards the humans.
Soon after, animal control was brought in to arrest each Faunus, even the ones who were protesting peacefully.
When Yang saw Blake being arrested, she went berserk, her irises bright red. She began attacking Blake's arrester, firing Ember Celica at the animal control officer. An armed guard grabbed her arms and cuffed them behind her back, angering her more. She ended up being sedated.
Next to be arrested was Ruby. When Yang was sedated, she began firing Crescent Rose at the guard, trying to protect her sister. A guard lifted her under one arm, carrying her to an armoured car, taking away her weapon along with Yang's.
Whilst this was going on, Yatsuhashi was being arrested for trying to attack the humans that had hurt Velvet. It took around six guards to take him down.
Looking around, I saw Nora being pinned to the floor. Cardin was on the ground in front of her, his legs obviously broken. A few others were nearby with various broken limbs.
My ears twitched as I heard Pyrrha shout something along the lines of "I want to be a normal teenager!" Then threw a brick at a guard.

I whimpered, trapped in a small cramped cell with all the other Faunus. Blake say by my side, trying to comfort me.
Yang and Ruby were in a cell directly ahead of us. Coco and Yatsuhashi were on our left. Pyrrha and Nora were in the cell beside Yang and Ruby (the ginger cell). I began banging on the cell door, terrified.
"Let me out! I'm claust-" I never got to finish, as a guard came past, yelled at me to be quiet then hit me on the head with a baton.
My vision blurred and I crumpled to the floor, passing out.
