Before I knew it, my birthday was just around the corner. I awoke in the morning from my hammock, but for once i wasn't woken up by a certain hyper cloak wearer. Looking around our dorm, I noticed no one was there,  but there was a wrapped box in the center of the room. Jumping down onto the floor, I quickly ripped the bone covered wrapping paper from the gift.

Quickly, I threw the lid from the box and looked inside. My tail wagged quickly,seeing a Team Mystic shirt, a pair of dark blue shorts,a Steven Universe baseball cap with slots for my ears and a pair of Gorrilaz hightops. There was also a note, which I quickly picked up and opened:

'Yo, Husky Dusky! It's Yang here, wishing you a Happy Birthday! Hope you like the new outfit, Birthday Girl! Come to the hall at around 11am! Yang'

My tail wagged quickly, getting changed into my new outfit. Looking at the clock, I saw it was 10:30. I quickly noticed a stack of pancakes on the desk, no doubt made by Ren. No syrup though, probably Nora's fault. Regardless, I wolfed down he delicious treats. The time was now 10:50, so I rushed towards the hall.

When I arrived, all the lights were off. Confused, I was about to leave when all the lights switched on and my friends flung themselves from hiding, yelling "Surprise!!". I was struck dumb, shocked that they all remembered my birthday. What shocked me more, is the fact that Velvet came over and hugged me.

"Happy Birthday Dusk...and thanks for helping to save us from the police". And with that, she placed a gentle kiss onto my cheek. My face flushed and my tail sprung up, making Yang snicker and Coco glare at me. The party was going great for about an hour or so. Most of us were drunk, even Weiss. Soon, the hall door was flung open,a woman who looked like an older Weiss entered, her hair in a bun and her outfit military looking.

"Weiss? Are you dru-" the white haired woman stopped in the middle of her question as she locked eyes with me. Only then did I recognize who she was. Winter Schnee. I could tell she had recognized me, which spelt big trouble. Sprinting as fast as I could, I exited the hall, Winter following Closely. Stupidly, I had left Shadefang back in my dorm room. Running through a market, I threw as many items as I could in Winter's path. Darting into an alley, I skidded to a halt, realizing it was a dead end.

Turning to leave, I saw Winter guarding the exit, holding an arrow. I gulped.

"Goodnight, Mutt" She hissed out with a smirk, throwing the arrow like it was a dart. It embedded itself into my knee, injecting a fluid into my body. My head began to spin as I dropped to the floor, tiredness overtaking my body. Soon, I was out like a light.

When I eventually awoke, I was strapped down against a cold metal chair, all my limbs restrained, including my head and tail. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see three silver letters painted on the pure white wall. SDC. I was back...
