"Spread out. She's gotta be here".

Applejack looked around the field. She felt heart breaking every minute that went by without Rainbow Dash. Was she okay?? Was she hurt?? Did someone kidnap her again??. If someone did then she would-

"GUYS!!".

It was Twilight.

"I found her!!".

Applejack came running towards Twilight. Everyone did. Twilight was kneeling down by a creek. Applejack gasped.

Rainbow Dash was laid out on the grass unconscious. The blonde k elt down. Rainbow didn't appear hurt but she couldn't be sure.

"Why would she be out here??", she asked.

"Not sure", Lord Flight said.

The girls looked at him. The man knelt down.

"But let's get her back to the palace".

Applejack sighed. She watched the unconscious princess with worry. They had gotten back a few minutes ago and Rainbow was now on her bed. Applejack was beside her, waiting.

Applejack had time to think. What was Rainbow Dash doing in the field by herself??. How long had she been unconscious??. How long had she been in the meadow??.

Applejack felt a sense of fear. Something still didn't seem right. Rainbow was back but something felt off.

She suddenly noticed that Rainbow was waking up. She pushed her thoughts away and got up. Rainbow's eyes fluttered open. She sat up and looked around. She saw Applejack.

Applejack sat on the bed.

"How do you feel??".

Rainbow smiled. "I feel okay. I'm good".

"Why were ya in the field??. How long were you there??".

Rainbow sighed. "I just wanted to get get away from all the stress".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Stress??. What stress??".

"Well um the uh my parents. Yeah. Them being sick and all. I just..... wanted to be alone".

"Why didn't you tell me you were headin' out??. Everyone was worried about you".

Rainbow shrugged.

"I just didn't. It's not a big deal".

Applejack looked taken back. Did Rainbow really just say that??.

"Are you okay babe??".

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. Just tired I guess. Sorry fir snapping".

Rainbow sighed. "I don't know what's wrong with me".

Applejack rubbed her arm comfortingly.

"Don't worry about it. Can you tell me what happened??".

Rainbow sighed again. She ran her smaller hand through her hair.

"Sure uh.....".

Rainbow sat up and looked at her lap.

"I was in the meadow when that creature thing came out of nowhere and attacked me".

Applejack gasped. "It escaped??".

Rainbow nodded. "I'm not sure how but I know what I saw. I got it to go away but I must've tripped and hit my head in the ground. Then everything went black".

"Well. We should get chur head checked out".

Rainbow's eyes widened.

"Nonono. It's alright. That's not necessary".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Rainbow. You hit chur head. Ya might have a concussion".

"Trust me Applejack. I'm fine. I don't need a doctor. Trust me. I'm fine".

Applejack didn't believe her. But something in her told her to back off. She didn't want to stress the princess out more than she had been already.

"Alright then".

Applejack sighed. "Just get some rest. Yir parents would want ta see ya later".

Rainbow Dash nodded. She laid down. Applejack was surprised when Rainbow did give her a chance to kiss her on the forehead like she was did when Rainbow was going to sleep. Applejack let it go and got up. Walking out of the room, she turned the light off and closed the door.

Twilight and Pinkie stood there.

"Well??", Twilight asked. "How is she??".

Applejack shrugged. "Ah don't know. She's actin strange. But it ain't her fauly. Whatever she's been through has got er all discombobulated".

(OMG, discombobulated is a real word??!! Why did I just find out about this??)

Twilight walked up to her.

"Maybe. Let's just give her some space and see what happens".

Applejack sighed. "Alright".

Applejack did as suggested and gave Rainbow some space. That space lasted all week. Rainbow barely spent anytime with Applejack or the other girls. She was too busy making people feel bad for her.

Applejack looked at Twilight from across the room. She and Pinkie were standing beside Rainbow. She was explaining her terrifying ordeal to the advisors. The adults worried over the princess.

"Are you sure you're not injured??", LordFlight asked.

Rainbow nodded. "I'm okay. But I fear for my mental health is faltering".

Applejack gave a WTF look. Since when did Rainbow Dash use big words like that??.

Something wasn't right. Rainbow wanting attention was not normal. Applejack crossed her arms. Ever since they found Rainbow, the princess had been acting like a little..... not Rainbow. She had been rude and ignoring Applejack. Rainbow not let her hold her hand anymore. She claimed it just wasn't cute anymore.

There was still the hugs and the occasional kiss on the cheek. Rainbow didn't let Applejack escort her anywhere. She claimed Applejack was being clingy. Really??.

Applejack grumbled under her breath.

"Oh I'll show ya clingy. When ah cling mah hands around her throat".

Applejack's eyes widened. Since when.did Rainbow get her mad??. She rubbed her temples.

"Applejack??".

Rainbow stood there. "Are you alright?".

Applejack blinked. "Yeah".

Rainbow looked worried.

"Okay, if you say so. Just don't stress yourself out".

Rainbow gave her a kiss on the cheek. When Rainbow turned away. Applejack gave the girls a what the heck just happened look. Applejack decided to take a breath. She calmed down. She had to be calm.

Rainbow was just going through some stupid drama queen stage. It was probably the stress. Yeah, that was it. The stress.

Applejack had to be stupid enough to lie to herself. She had to believe it. She refused to believe anything else. Rainbow was just stressed and this would all be over in another week or so. It's just stress.
