"Not that thing again!!".

The girls stared in horror as the beast they saw only a few weeks ago was now in their world and destroying shops.

Applejack looked at the girls.

"C'mon ya'll", she said, gripping her sword. "Let's get that thing outta here".

Twilight and Pinkie nodded. The three girls ran towards the creature. Yup, it was the same one. The girls skidded to a stop.

"HEY!!", Applejack yelled, waving her arms.

The creature seemed to notice them.

"COME AND GET US!!".

The creature turned to them, wings outstretched. The girls turned and ran down the path. Applejack looked back to see the creature chasing after them.

"It's working", she called to the girls.

They ran through the village, passing other townspeople. The creature was right on their tail. Applejack formed a plan in her mind. She had an idea.

"Hey guys", she called.

"Yeah??", Twilight responded.

"Ah got an idea", Applejack said. "We lore it back inta the forest an then lose it".

"Good idea!!", Pinkie said.

They steered and headed towards the forest. Suddenly jumped out of the way. The creature had nearly pounced on her. Lookimg up, she saw the creature flying over her. She turned and kept running. She caught up to the girls. They ran out of the town and into the woods.

They zipped past trees, over rocks and logs.

"The portal!!", Twilight shouted.

The girls spotted the tree that contained the portal to Avalen.

"Split up an hide!!".

The girls ran in different directions ad fast as they could. The creature got confused and lost them.

Applejack ducked behind a large tree. Peeking out from behind it, she saw the creature flying around. She crouched down to the ground, silently praying she and the girls wouldn't be spotted.

She guessed the creature gave up. It flew over to the tree. The portal suddenly appeared. Applejack'seyes widened.

"What the??...".

Okay. That's weird. How did the portal open??. The creature flew in. It was quiet for a moment. Applejack came out from behind the tree. She looked around. Twilight and Pinkie Pie came out as well. Twilight had hidden in a hollow log. Pinkie popped out from a few bushes.

"Is it gone??", Twilight asked, looking around for any sign that the creature might still be around.

"Yeah", Applejack said. "It's gone".

The blonde walked over to the girls. She crossed her arms.

"I just don't get it", she said. "How did it open the portal??. How did it escape??".

"And where is it going now??", Twilight asked, looking at the girls in worry and fear.

Applejack looked back at the portal. It hadn't closed yet.

"Well, let's go find out".

King Lightning's eyes widened.

"Are you sure it came back??", he asked.

The girls nodded.

"We're sure", Twilight said. "It had attacked our village back in our world. A friend of ours said that it had attacked before while we were gone. We were able to get it back to this world".

Twilight placed a hand on her hip.

"But we don't know how it got to our world. We never leave the portal open once we leave. And we don't know where it came from in the first place".

"Flight", the king said.

Lord Flight stepped up.

"Yes your majesty", he said.

"Have your men on the lookout for the creature. It may come back to attack again. At the festival, have security, patrolling the village".

Lord Flight bowed.

"Yes your majesties. I'll get right to it".

Lord Flight fluttered off the floor and quickly flew out of the room. The king and queen looked at the girls.

"How is our dear Rainbow Dash??", Queen Eden asked.

Applejack sighed. "Not sure. She's been acting weird fir quite some time now".

The king and queen looked worriedly at eachother.

"What's wrong with her??", the king asked, looking at Applejack for answers.

Applejack began to tell all that had been going on for the past few weeks.

"And that's all we know. She's been real strange. Ah can't quite figure out what's up. She never acted like this around us before".

"That doesn't sound like Rainbow at all", King Lightning said, rubbing his chin. "What could be the cause of this??. I wish to see. Can you get her for us please??".

Applejack nodded. She turned and left the room. Walking down the hall, she smiled and said hello to the guards as she walked by.

Applejack came to Rainbow's room. She knocked on the door and took a step back. A minute later it opened.
Rainbow stood there. She smiled.

"Hey Applejack. You're back".

The two girls hugged. Applejack felt something..... off abiut Rainbow. It didn't feel right when Rainbow was hugging her.

She pulled away.

"Your parents want ta see ya", she said smiling. "C'mon".

Rainbow nodded and shut the door. The two walked back down to the room. As they passed by the gaurds, Applejack noticed that the gaurds noticeably backed up. Applejack raised an eyebrow at one. He just mouthed "She's has a bad vibe. It's creepy".

Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash and kept walking. The girl ignored the gaurds and flew past them. The girls came to the king and queen's bedroom. Twilight and Pinkie stood outside the door. Rainbow smiled at them.

"Hey guys".

Pinkie waved. "Hey Dashie".

"What do you think they want to talk to me about??", Rainbow asked.

Applejack shrugged.

"Ah don't know".

Rainbow opened the door and walked in. Once the door shut Applejack groaned and huffed in annoyance.

"Ah just wanna strangle er".

"What happened??", Twilight asked.

Applejack rolled her eyes. "She was just being her. Annoyin and rude an-".

Applejack's eyes widened.

"Ah take that back", she said. "She is not like that. Just- ugh!!".

Applejack trudged down the hall. Twilight and Pinkie Pie looked at eachother.

"I really hope Rainbow Dash cleans up her act", Twilight said. "I don't know how much more of her Avalen can take".

The girls ran off down the hall to catch up. They weren't the only ones. Everyone hoped so.
