WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED

You don't need to read this part but if you want go ahead...

— eleven years later—

"Dad can I go please?! They don't call us hunters for nothing!" Forest begged, shaking his father's arm. Forest was ten years old and he was basically taught how to arm and defend for himself. He had been waiting to go on a hunt for a long time now. Dean always said no and he would be stuck with "Uncle" Gabriel till his other uncle and fathers came back.

"I really want to go please!!" He tried again.

"Dean, give the damn kid what he wants before I start losing it." Castiel said from the other end of the table. He massaged his temples. Dean sighed.

"Forest do you know how dangerous this is? Battling vampires?" Dean asked his son.

"Yes! I know all the risks, Dad! Just please please let me go on this hunt." Forest said. Castiel all of a sudden choked on whatever he was eating. Possibly bacon. Dean and Forest looked to him.

"Cas?" His words echoed through Castiel. He woke up. He gasped at the horrific sight. Hell's chamber. Heaven losing its ground. He remembered it all.

He had been hearing Dean's voice for weeks because somehow he was chained right next to him. "D-Dean?" His lip quivered. Tears filled his eyes and tried to edge closer but his chains yanked him back.

"I see you're awake." came a familiar voice. Castiel was breathing heavily and looked in the direction the voice had come from. He stared in shock. It was Forest.

"F-Forest?" Castiel's voice cracked. "What's going on? You're full grown." Castiel paused to smile. "Well now... can you set us free?" He kept his smile as he held out his chained wrists. Forest's expression was unknown and unchanged, as Castiel's had been for years.

"No," He simply said. "As of a matter of fact... DEAN, WAKE UP!" Forest flipped a switch, shocking the Winchester awake. It continued for a couple seconds before shutting off. Castiel frowned at the sight. Dean's eyes weren't the gentle and sweet now they were in terror and wide. "Hey pops." Forest said in a fake child voice. "Look who's awake..." He said.

Dean turned his head and met face to face with Castiel. He looked so frightened, Castiel could practically see him shaking. He forced a smile at Castiel. He reached for Castiel's hand. Castiel reached out as well. Their hands intertwined and it felt good. "I've missed you." Dean said.

"Me too." Castiel looked at their hands.

"Alright, enough with the 'I love you''s we have more things to discuss about." Forest peered over his shoulder, turning slightly to the back to them. "Jack! Come over here!" He yelled-ordered. A tall boy came over beside Forest and gestured toward Castiel.

Castiel looked up at him. Oh, Jack. Castiel had forgotten about him. He was Lucifer's "proclaimed" child. He was so innocent. He had nothing to do with this... what is Forest planning? Castiel thought. And what is making him this way?

"You want answers." Jack said. "We'll explain-"

"WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE! You're gonna give him answers when I've been asking for months?! You can't just-" Dean interrupted before Forest flipped the switch once again.

"Dad was always my favorite, Pops," Forest said, shaking his head and making a disapproving noise.

"Stop it!" Castiel shrieked. "Please!" He was rattling in his chains. The shock was awful to hear and the rattling of chains made it worse. The shocks stopped and Dean sighed, wincing. Forest sighed, disappointed.

"Let him out." Forest said, looking behind him. "I SAID NOW!" He screamed when nothing was said or done. Another man around the same age as them had keys in his hand.

"Jeez calm down Forest, did Jack shove something up your ass? Jesus." The voice had a familiarity to it. Castiel was about to cry as one name came to mind.

"Gabriel?" His voice cracked again as he spoke. The young man looked at Castiel and boy, did he look like Gabriel. The only thing was he had long hair and a beard going.

"Uh- you talking about my dad?" The boy hesitated. Forest hit his shoulder.

"Seth, stop giving into his mind games, they're not worth it." Forest gave Castiel a disgusted look once more.

"Right, right." Seth shook his head and opened up the cell, both Dean and Castiel were raised down. "Both? Or-"

"Both." Forest replied.

"I thought-" Jack started.

"I changed my mind." He said. Jack and Seth both glanced at each other. Seth shook his head and sighed.

"Alright, man, let's just get this over with." Seth unlocked Castiel's chains, making Castiel fall to the floor. His legs were weak after so long. Seth held him up. Castiel's first attempt was to punch him and he tried, but Seth caught his weak hand.

Dean frowned at that. Jack came into the cell and took Castiel from Seth while Seth moved onto Dean, unchaining him. "Dean?" Castiel called out from the distance. "My legs are numb." Castiel was getting more and more memories of Forest's birth night. Castiel pinned Jack down.

Forest's eyes widened. "Impossible!" He screamed. "I drained your powers!"

"Not enough clearly." Jack groaned from the floor. Castiel tilted on his sides, clearly he was using up his strength. Forest came over as Jack grabbed Castiel by the shoulders easily and led him into a direction. Seth led Dean in the same one.

"You thought you could be all strong huh? Going to use your power against us? You Angel." Forest and Jack pinned Castiel onto a chair, strapping him.

"What are you doing? Aren't you guys supposed to be the good guys?" Castiel questioned. "I just don't get it." Seth strapped Dean beside Castiel.

"No, we're not. We like to have fun." Seth smirked. "Like this." He took a already stained bloody knife and craved something in enchocain into Dean's skin. Dean cried in pain.

"Make it stop! Make it stop!" He cried out. Castiel's face scrunched up and glared at the three boys.

"Do you three, honestly, know what you're doing?" Castiel arched an eyebrow. Seth, Jack and Forest all looked at each other. "I don't think you do, let me explain. This is serious. Killing people for no reason is... is bad. AND as parents-" Castiel looked at Forest. "We're just trying to help you. Lead you back to better paths. Obviously you don't want that and I understand. I was in that spot at... one point in my angel years. That's why Dean is here. I was there to protect him and he helped picked up the pieces. He cared for me and loved me." Castiel said. "All we want to do is help. If you'll let us."

There was a long silence before Dean cried out again from Seth taking out the knife. "Thank you!" A voice screamed from behind a cell. "We've been trying to tell them that for months!!" Castiel peered over the boys shoulders as much as he could and caught a glimpse of Sam and Gabriel.

They waved. "Why are you trying to help us?" Forest asked.

"Because that's what parents do- or from what I've seen- they're very protective and loving of their children. I just want the same for you as our son." Castiel said.

"Us too! Seth!" Sam called out. Castiel looked at Seth. He's Sam and Gabriel's son? How have I not known about this? Castiel wondered. Forest sighed, rubbing his temples, thinking.

"I think we should, Forest." Jack said. "Maybe they could-really- help us." Forest sighed again.

"If this goes bad I'm blaming you and I will- without hesitating- kill you." Forest said, pointing a finger at Jack. Jack rolled his eyes. This is an awful way to talk to each other, Castiel thought.

"I know, I know, Seth?" Jack turned to him. Tears were down his cheeks. "Are you Okay?" Seth ignored him and went over to his parents cage and uncaged them. "Seth?"

"I'm so sorry." Seth said to his parents. "I never meant to hurt you. This is all my fault that I locked you in here." Forest's eyes widened even more.

"Seth." Forest said through gritted teeth. Gabriel was busy hugging Seth and messing his hair up. And smothering him in kisses like how a parent does. "What do you think-" Jack put a hand on his shoulder, stopping Forest's anger. Castiel looked to Gabriel and Sam. How long have they been here? Castiel wondered. Were they here before us? After? At the same time?

Forest sighed. "I've had enough of this bullshit. I'm not playing games!" He said frustrated. He pulled out his angel blade.

"Forest stop." Jack placed a hand on Forest's arm, trying to make him stop. Forest turned to him angrily.

"And I've had enough of your bullshit!" He stabbed Jack, a new type of light being formed and shown.

"Cover your eyes!" Sam yelled. Everyone reacted quickly and covering with any material they had. The light then faded and a motionless Jack hit the floor. Everyone brought their eyes back out and stared in horror at the scene.

"Forest, what have you done." Seth said. "You-You killed him. You killed Jack." He gasped and hid behind his parents. Forest flared to Seth.

"Say so for yourself. You didn't care about your parents all those months ago when we chained them up. Hell, I even tortured my own parents and they're fine." Forest's eyes, his eyes that were once good were now completely darkened. Killful without hesitation. He turned to his parents and looked over them.

"Forest," Dean warned. "You don't have to do this." Forest rolled his eyes and automatically stabbed Castiel. Castiel screamed, clutching his stomach and the blade inside it. Forest slowly pulled it out of him. Dean's eyes widened. "Cas!" He screamed and grabbed him before he could fall. "No, no, no." He mumbled, tears starting to brim his eyes. "I won't lose you, not again."

"You two talk too much." Forest stabbed Dean, not showing the least bit of sorrow or emotion. Dean and Castiel both fell limp to the ground. Gabriel, Sam and Seth were left. Forest already looked bloody from his hands.
