3rd Person POV

There are too many people in Miner's Village. The village council knew very well they would have to call the hunters. It was a horribly sad thing, but it was all for the greater good.

The town's mayor was Mr. Sky, he wore all black suits with a purple amethyst wrapped in gold amulet. The mayor reluctantly picked up his phone and dialed the hunters.

"Hello, this is the hunters service, what do you need?" a husky and loud voice echoed through the receiver.

"Erm, my town is overpopulating, I, um, need you to get rid of some townsfolk" Mr. Sky said.

"Of course, when, where, and how many people do you need to get rid of?"

"When is your next opening?"

"Friday the 13th to Friday the 20th"

Mr. Sky shivered as the man on the phone stated the date. Does it have to start on the scariest day of the month?

"That will do, please be here Friday the 13th to Friday the 20th, Miner's Village, we need 120 gone" Mr. Sky choked out with guilt running down his back.

The mayor sighed as he said his goodbye and put the phone away. He leaned back in his large leather chair close to tears. He lifts his head when he hears his door open.

He saw his wife, Alesa, dressed in a flowing white blouse, black leggings, and her own pink wrapped in gold amulet. Alesa was holding her and Mr. Sky's son, Mason, who was wearing blue one piece pajamas with a little brown puppy located on the middle, Mason had his own amulet with purple and pink wrapped in gold amulet.

Alesa immediately noticed the sadness and guilt in her love's eyes. She rushed to his side, Mr. Sky pulled his son onto his lap and wrapped his arm firmly around his wife's waist.

"I had to call the hunters" he said, voice full of guilt.

Ssundee's POV

"Ian, Jordan, Shelby, Mitch come on! We have another job!" a familiar voice says.

Another job...

The only reason I did this is because they threatened to hurt my mother and my younger brother who was a human runt.

Nobody wanted this job, we were forced to, they threatened everybody's families and loved ones. It was either take the job, or die along with everyone you care about. People say hunters are heartless murders. I say we are broken slaves.

They threatened each and everyone of us. They threatened to kill Jordan's father. Dan's wife. Mitch's boyfriend Jerome. Shelby's cousin. Jess's husband and kids. Red's husband. Tiffany's husband. And sadly many more.
