     "Like a doctor?" I ask confused.

     "I guess you could call it that..." Says Ajax.

A couple minutes ago I accepted Chase's proposal to join the pack. Ajax, who still freaking out, just told me I need to see this lady called Caelia Thrasea. Saying it's mandatory before joining the pack. He said she'll give me a check up, or at least along the lines of that. Frankly, all this sounds like gibberish to me.

     "She's more like a trusted old friend." Says Ajax, carefully choosing his words.

     "What are you not telling me?" I ask determined to get an answer.

     Seeing I won't give up he sighs, "She's kinda a witch." He says pushing his hair back.

     "Wait, do you mean like -- she's rude and cranky or like -- an actual witch." I ask anticipating his answer.

     He gives me an awkward apologetic smile, "The latter?" he says in more of a question.

     "An actual witch?" I ask. "This couldn't get any crazier. I am officially living in a fake world. Where's the closet so I can go back to reality." I say referencing Narnia cause like... yes!

Ah, I love that movie.

     "First of all, I don't see what a closet has to do with this but this is your new reality. Now, are you coming or not?" This boy has clearly not seen ANY movies that matter, remind me to teach him my ways.

     I sigh, "Sure..." I smirk thinking of the absolute best thing ever. "I'll see the witch doctor."

I crack out laughing, a bit from realizing my new reality and a bit from my hilarious joke.

Ajax looks at me like I'm crazy, apparently, he doesn't know what I'm talking about so the whole drive there I sing the witch doctor song to him. Long story short, it's officially his least favorite song after I sand it a couple hundred times. Oops:)

We finally arrive at a cottage that could be straight out of Disney's Brave and we knock on the door. A woman in a purple and black cloak opens the door, the hoodie is covering everything but her mouth.

She looks up at us and once she looks at Ajax her mouth immediately turns into a smile. She pulls down her hoodie revealing a beautiful woman. She looks the opposite of what I would have imagined, gray hair, wrinkles, crazy eyes.

But she's, well, stunning. She has strawberry blonde hair and green/gray eyes. She's a little shorter than me, 5'4 maybe, but with the heels, she's wearing she matches my height. She has medium length hair that reaches just to her collar-bone. She has fair skin and is wearing a stellar outfit which she is rocking. A dark purple knee length dress that hugs her curves and black heels that make her look taller. She looks around 40 with beautiful laugh lines when she smiles.

     "Ajax!" She says bringing him in for a hug. "It's been so long, to what do I owe the pleasure?" She asks inviting us in.

     "Hi Caelia, this is Kira. She just accepted an invitation into the pack." Ajax says taking a seat on the couch.

After Caelia gesturing for me to sit too I do so. 

     "Ahh, I see," She says a smile on her face. "Hello, Kira." 

     "Hi, It's nice meeting you." I say.

     "Well, the pleasures all mine." She smiles at me then turns back to Ajax. "You just caught me in the middle of leaving. Ajax, why don't you go fetch me these things on the list at the market while I go through this with Kira?" She says handing him a list.

     "Alright." He says taking the list. "He turns to me before getting up, don't worry I'll be right back. You're in good hands." He smiles at Caelia one last time before leaving.

     "And how long has that been going on?" She says pointing between me and the door Ajax just left through.

     "What do you mean?" I ask.

    "Oh come on, I'm a witch. Didn't he tell you? You can't hide anything from me. You two have the hots for each other." She says smirking.

     My eyes bulge, "N-no we don't" I say not even convincing myself. 

     "Alright honey, whatever you say. Now shall we get down to business?"

I nod my head and she continues. 

     "I'm going to read you, do an analysis you could say. Not much different than a doctors check up." She grabs my hands. "I need you to close your eyes. Breath in and out clearing your thoughts." I do as I'm told taking a second to clear my mind. "Good, now this might feel a little weird but don't fight it. Now open your eyes." 

I open my eyes, staring directly into hers. Instantly it's like a bolt of electricity hits me, I'm traveling through a tunnel inside her eyes leading to her mind. Instantly everything goes white and I see my whole life flash before me. Memories I had that I forgot about, good times, bad times. In what feels like a matter of seconds all my life is before me, even memories as a child, but none I can interpret. Memories of my parent's death come flooding back and I try to lock them out. A large pain suddenly hits my head like a bulldozer, but I focus on trying to bring back the happy memories. The pain increases and I feel someone shaking and people talking. My eyes are wide open yet I can't see anything at all.

     "What's wrong with her?" A familiar voice says.

     "She's blocking me and her memories out. It caused her to be like this, it's up to her now only she can get out of this. She has to let them in."

I try to do as she says but the pain of the memories conquers the physical pain any day. I try to fight it until it's too much and I finally let go. I let them in and they all hit like a speeding truck, all at once. I let them flood my mind finally giving in to the darkness and closing my eyes into a deep sleep.

// Woah! How was that chapter guys? Intense right? Well, at least I tried to make it. Sorry if it feels a little rushed or too fast paced, I decided to make chapters a little shorter so I could update more regularly. Do you like these shorter chapters or longer ones?
