Day Two: Happiness :) and Sadness :(
Good evening/morning/afternoon! I hope you are having and AWESOMETASTIC day and-- ew, wait, let me never say that again--
Anyways!
How was your day? (ahem, so far.)

Well I can't tell you that's great because if you had a bad day then it would seem like I was wishing a bad day on you...
But I will tell you if you had a bad day, shake it off! Tomorrow is a new day for a fresh start!
Now, let's begin this day with a lesson in: HAPPINESS AND SADNESS!
Happiness is the feeling of joy or contentment in one's life. Happiness occurs after an accomplishment, compliment, good day, or any other positive occurrence in the everyday world. NOW, I am a very happy person, but that is because I know what makes me happy and surround myself with that.
So, what makes you happy?
Cookies? (yum)
Friends?
Family?
Reading fan-fictions on Wattpad?
Whatever it is, don't let anyone tell you that's "weird" or whatever.
That makes them weird.
Putting others down for things that make them happy is the most shallow thing you can do. And if that makes you happy then... no, it doesn't. It will only hurt you in the end.
Now, close your eyes for five seconds. Take a deep breath. Focus on how you feel. Are you sad? Are you hungry? Are you tired? Are you stressed?
Or are you happy? Are you excited? Are you proud?
Sadness and happiness seem like polar opposites, but they are not that much different. When you are sad, you cry. When you are happy, you cry. Emotional things can trigger sadness and happiness, and you need to learn which is which.
Sadness: Angry, clouded vision, impulsive actions (such as buying expensive things, dying your hair, etc.), wanting to die.
Happiness: Your heart is full, butterflies, a smiling cry instead of a frown.
And now I don't know what this turned into... wait okay i'm going back to read it and get what i need.
Now that you see the effects side-by-side, they don't seem all too different. To me, anyways.
So, what do you do when you are sad?
Number one: Wipe your eyes and breathe. You have heard this a million times before, I know, but if you are able to catch your breath, you can go from there.
Number two: Asses your feelings. Are you comfortable with sharing, or would you rather sit in quiet for a little bit?
Number three: Your surroundings. Are you near any place you can sit down and cool off, or is there anything you can use to calm yourself down on hand?
Number four: PUPPY VIDEOS!!!!!!
Number five: Repeat until ready to talk or until sadness is all gone! :D
Now you are a master in dealing with happiness and sadness. Tomorrow we will be discussing anxiety, and Wednesday we will be discussing other mental disorders.
Remember to drink, get rest, and take care of yourself.
