If your day was bad, remember that we all love you and you will always have tomorrow! Make the best of the rest of your day and turn it back around!

Now, as I said yesterday, we are discussing anxiety today. Anxiety is a disorder in which one has episodes of paranoia or nerves. It can also lead to hospitalization if not treated correctly.

Now, who here has anxiety?

Hm, let me specify the types.


--Social Anxiety: Nervousness or anxiety when communication either 1 on 1 or with a group of people.

--Generalized Anxiety Disorder: Large feelings of worry or tension.

--Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (or OCD): OCD isn't only being a perfectionist. Small quirks or changes in one's life could lead to a more severe case of anxiety or depression.

--Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): Certain subjects, noises, sights, smells, etc. could trigger emotional outbursts or depression.

--Panic Disorder: Unexpected episodes of panic attacks. (NOTE: ANXIETY ATTACKS ARE TRIGGERED. PANIC ATTACKS ARE RANDOM. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING.)

My condolences to anybody who has to go through these. I, myself, have anxiety attacks often, but I don't thinks there's a disorder for that...? I dunno.

Some ways to avoid these are:

PTSD - Avoid senses that could trigger you.

OCD - Avoid large changes and try to ignore any voices in your head that may cause you to do things on impulse. Medication can be prescribed.

Panic Disorder - Since this is random, there isn't really a way to avoid it. But, most of the time, you are able to somewhat sense an attack is coming on. Pay attention to those signs and take necessary precautions.

Social Anxiety - Therapy and easing yourself into talking with larger crowds help social anxiety. Forcing yourself into a crowded place will NOT help and will make things worse. Get comfortable with different sizes of groups of people and see where you are most comfortable and least comfortable. 

Generalized Anxiety Disorder - Medication can be prescribed.
