"Hurry up and get your shoes on, we're going to be late for the bus!" I screamed to Mia.
"You know, just because I'm smart doesn't mean that I can't make an effort to look good!" She yelled back to me.
"Well, we can either be to school on time or look like a super model. And since when do you even care about your appearance?"
"Oh, you know, it's the last day of school and I want to look amazing-make all of the guys mad that they never talked to me."
     "Sure, whatever," I said while chuckling, "just hurry because I seriously don't want to miss the bus."
    Every week, starting on Monday, we take turns sleeping over at each other's houses. Yesterday, Mia came over to my house and Amanda went to Ivy's house. It changes throughout the week so each of us get to sleep at someone's house each day. On Friday, we sleep over at one house, all four of us. It's a big tradition and its a lot easier on our moms.
     "So this week is my week?" I asked, getting off the bus with my friends.
     "Right, and I'm bringing all the snacks." Amanda told us.
     "Make sure you get the Mayfield moose tracks ice cream not that off brand weird crap." Ivy told her.
     "Oh stop whining. That ice cream wasn't that bad and you know it. Don't be some stuck up rich kid wanna-be." Amanda said. "I'm Ivy and I only eat name brand foods."
     We all laughed while Ivy stomped away. Amanda tackled her in the middle of the hallway and Ivy was laughing just like what Amanda was wanting. We talked for about ten minutes, the bell rang, and we went off to class.
     In class, we barely did anything because it was the last day of school. The day kind of dragged on and I was super excited to have the sleepover tonight. My P.E class was probably the most awful thing all year long. We dressed out all year--even today, the last day of school. I'm just glad it was my last period of the day and Ivy had it with me.
     "Hey Bambi!" Ivy exclaimed, "Let's go into the woods tonight when it's starting to get dark. We've never gone out there!"
     "That's a great idea! I can't believe we've never thought of that!"
     We talked pretty much the whole period and our dodgeball team probably got mad at us because we just let the ball go and ran away from it whenever it came near us. It was just too much of an exciting day to be playing dodgeball and when the bell rang, we were the first ones to leave the gym. We went as fast as we could to the buses and met up with Amanda and Mia.
   "Guess what!!" I blurted out. "Get ready for another one of our great adventures tonight," I said while smiling at Ivy.
