Begin Recording ⎯ 1:05 P.M.

Muffled sounds come from the recording. Footsteps and shuffling. Dr. Scott Parsons walks into the empty room and greets the young teenager sitting in the middle chair. The screech of a metal chair on marble floorboards fills the room because Scott was trying to get into his chair. The teenager, Wendy, looked confident. She was ready to take on any challenge.

SCOTT: Greetings, miss. I'm Doctor Scott Parsons, I am the head of board here at the Halcyon Hospital.

WENDY: Nice to meet you, Mr. Parsons.

I smile bright and sit up straight. First Impressions are everything.

SCOTT: Please, call me Scott.

He smirked and shook my hand firmly.

WENDY: Pedo. Ok, Scott. Um, I'm Wendy Shane.

SCOTT: Wendy Shane. That's a beautiful name. What do you like to do for fun, Wendy?

WENDY: Odd question. Well, I like to read novels. And I like to solve mysteries, I guess.

SCOTT: Very cool. What novels do you like to read?

WENDY: I dunno, just Nancy Drew and all the other classic mystery books.

SCOTT: Are there any areas of life you are struggling in, currently?

WENDY: I thought this was an interview not an intervention. Well, no. Not at all why would you ask that?

He completely ignored my question

SCOTT: So, you want to volunteer here, correct?

WENDY: I would love to. I have a lot of experience taking care of younger kids. Matter of fact, I have two younger siblings and because my parents, um, go out alot, I have to take care of them all on my own. And you can ask them, I do a wonderful job.

SCOTT: That's great to hear, sweetheart. But you do realize that not all patients are little kids. We have several grown patients as well. The main thing is just knowing how to ⎯ how should I put this⎯ do favors for people and to understand them.

WENDY: Who does this man think he is. He's not only unprofessional but he think I won't be able to take care of a couple old people as well as babies. Mr. Pars⎯ I mean, Scott, I ensure you that i will have everything under control. After all, I'm a people person.

SCOTT: Okay. Good, good.

He scooted his chair closer to me.

SCOTT: I think you're exactly what Halcyon needs.

This voice sounded like a whisper and his firm eyes looked me up and down.

WENDY: I had to do something. Thank you for this interview, Mr. Scott, sir. I need to leave. I'll be back tommorrow though. I'm sorry.

SCOTT: Where are you going? You need to fill out these forms.

He stood up and grabbed a stack from the table behind him.

WENDY: I can fill them out at home and give them to you tommorrow. Is that ok?

SCOTT: Sounds good, sweetheart. See you tommorrow.

WENDY: Yeah, bye.

The sound of shuffling continued and then was interruppted by the creaking of a closing door.

ok, now lemme say some things i forgot to say before:

1.) for scott's faceclaim i'm thinking patrick dempsey but how he looked in scream 3. he's so  hot & although scott is like some weird pedo i was lowkey like folding bc i was thinking abt patrick dempsey. okayy moving on 😅
