-Calum's POV-

"Superman's better!" Hayden argued

"Nu-uh! Batman is awesome!" Hunter argued back

"Can be a princess?" Annie piped up

"But princess' aren't scary!" Hayden laughed

"You don't have to dress up. Your face is scary!" Annie stuck her tongue out

"Hey you got that from me!" Hunter whined

"Daddy can I princess?" She asked Luke cutely

"Yes you can sweetie" Luke answered causing me to roll my eyes and he glared at me.

"How about I go with the boys tonight and you go with Annie?" he suggested

I smirked "Fine by me"

"C'mon daddy let's go be princess'!" Annie giggled happily and tugged my hand over to the girl section of the store

"Have fun!" Luke called after me

"Daddy you need a costume as well!" she skipped around the isle

I chuckled "I think I'm alright hun"

"C'mon daddy please! Other daddy would try one on!" she put her hands on her hips

"Really?" I asked

"Yeah" she said like it was obvious "He's done it before!"

I stifled a laugh as I thought of Luke in a princess dress "Okay how about we just get one for you yeah?"

After getting her trying on many dresses Annie then decided to be a puppy instead. For some reason I am not aware of.

When we finally got everyone home Luke began cooking dinner while me and kids coloured in on the floor.

"Hayden that was my red!" Hunter huffed

"No it wasn't" Hayden protested

"C'mon boys" I sighed "I'm sure there's enough reds to go around-" but they were already wrestling.

Hunter got Hayden pinned to the floor. "Give it back or I'll tell Daisy that you kissed Hannah!"

Hayden squirmed under his grasp "I didn't kiss Hannah!"

"Yeah you did!" Hunter told him "Coz Daisy was sick that day! Then you told Ryan that Hannah was your backup girlfriend for when your real one wasn't there!"

"Hey! Ryan said he wouldn't tell anyone!" Hayden frowned

"There was never this much drama when I was ten" I mumbled to myself

"Yeah but you had to worry if that German guy was gonna declare war or not" Hunter rolled his eyes

I frowned "You mean Hitler? I'm not that old!"

"You really are daddy" Annie smiled sadly at me

"Luke the kids are ganging up on me!" I whined

"Stop being mean to your father" Luke called back "But he is older than me"

"See?" Hunter laughed "Now give me back the red!"

"I'll tell Daddy who you kissed on Monday!" Hayden smirked and Hunter's eyes went wide

"Don't you dare!" he frowned

"Ooh Dad! Hunter kissed-" Hayden began but his brother clamped his hands over his mouth

Hayden got enough strength to flip his brother over so he was on top then they continued to roll about yelling things at eachother.

"Hunter- Hunter kissed- Rylie! Hunter kissed Rylie" Hayden began screaming

"Hey!" Hunter whined

"Aw does Hunter have a girlfriend?" Luke cooed coming into the room

He hid his face in his hands "Why do you never ask Hayden this? He kissed loads of girls!"

"Because Hayden's a bit of a slut" Luke laughed

"Dad!"

"Luke!"

After having dinner and getting the kids into their costumes, Luke and the boys set off one way and me and Annie the other.

"We got so much candy" Hunter cheered looking at his half filled basket as we made our way back home

"Bet Annie got nothing. A dog isn't scary" Hayden laughed

But as we turned the corner we met Annie and Calum. Annie's basket was full to the brim and Calum's pockets looked full.

"Turns out you don't have to be scary for Halloween" he breathed "And I think a chocolate bar is melting in my back pocket"
