Mine forever now (B. Weasley)

Lol I'm sorry the title seems a wee bit weird but it'll make sense at the end. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but in this story the age difference between Bill and Ginny is 11ish years.

"Skyler, can I talk to you about something?" came the adorable little voice of 11 year old Ginny.
Ginny, Bill and I were currently sitting on the dining table in the Burrow; all of us doing things of our own. Bill was working on a research paper on the unforgettable curses while I was skimming through the headlines of the daily prophet. Even though we were doing our own things, still so, Bill had absentmindedly intertwined his left hand with my right under the table.
Across the table, the youngest Weasley was coloring in a Gryffindor logo with the crayons (Muggle ones. The kind didn't ever bounce around squealing at the child that she kept scribbling outside the lines) that I gifted to her last Christmas. The rest of the Weasleys all also seemed to be in their usual flow of normal routine. As normal as a day of summer holidays in the Weasley household gets. There were obviously the occasionally the pops and fizzes that were heard from the twins' room who had just discovered some potions that even second years were allowed to make by themselves.
"Ofcourse, Gin!" I smiled to the younger girl who I had to admit had topped the list as my favorite Weasley. I'd say my boyfriend of 7 years came to a close second.
"In private please?" urged the small girl. Her mouth formed a pout matched her furrowed eyebrows in the direction of the boy beside me.
Bill shot his head up at her words, and raised one of his eyebrows at his sister who refused to look into his eyes. He then turned towards me for some explanation but I simply shrugged in response.
"C'mon Gin, I'm your oldest brother. What do you need to hide from me?" Bill cooed as he put his quill down, his expression still confused as to why his little sister would ever want to hide anything from him.
I rolled my eyes and freed my hand from his hold, earning an adorable irritated look from him. I elbowed him in the ribs and indicated with my the thumb of my other hand for him to leave the room.
Bill pouted in the strikingly similar way Ginny always did and started packing up his stuff. Just as he was about to leave, he pointed a finger at his sister to declare, "Hey! If this is about some boy then let me tell you, you're not allowed to date until you're at least 25!
"But you're 23 and have been dating Skylar for eons, now!"
"That's different."
I heard Ginny let out an annoyed 'hmph' as a response to her brother's declarations. I urged Bill to leave with a glare indicating he was making things worse. He did so, but only after doing the 'I'm watching you' sign with his hand at Ginny.
After the overprotective Bill had left the dining room, Ginny gave me a bright smile and came over to occupy the chair that Bill had earlier sat on. She sat cross legged and sensing this was something serious, I also made an effort by letting go of the newspaper and turning my chair towards her.
"So, what's up Gin-Gin?" I said messing up her hair, something that she only allowed me to do.
"I mean I dunno maybe I think I might like someone..?" She whispered her cheeks now tinted pink.
"Aww that's great, darlin'!" I replied trying to be gentle on her, "But, hey are you asking asking me or telling me?"
She giggled at my lame attempt of a joke and bit her lip, "Telling you, silly!"
"So what's her or his name, then?"
She started twiddling her fingers and looked at me through her eyelashes. "Harry."
I smiled at her shyness before responding, "So what's the problem?"
"I wish he would just be my boyfriend already! He's just so cute but I don't even know if he likes me back..! It's all so ughhhh!" She groaned while making frustrated hand movements in the air.
"I don't think that's how it works, Gin-Gin." I said chuckling at her words.
"Then how does it work? Why can't everyone just find and start dating their soulmates already?!! You and Bill seem to be such good soulmates, when will I get miiiiiine?" She fumed and exaggerated her last word.
Although I thought it was completely adorable she thought Bill and I were soulmates, I knew this wasn't the time to fangirl over my boyfriend.
I pulled one of her chubby cheeks and she responded by scrunching up her nose annoyed at the action. "Well, you see, why don't you try to confess your feelings to him? Maybe write a poem and see how things turn out?"
Ginny blinked and tilted her head up and looked like she had just started some serious thinking. After a few seconds, she met my eyes with a grin, "That's perfect! Thank you Skylar!"
I shook my head and let out a laugh at her naïveness. Standing up, I squeezed her in a tight hug. Ruffling her hair again, I remarked teasingly , "Aww my lil Gin-Gin is growing up..!"
After I stopped hugging her, she confidently put her hands on her hips, " Ofcourse. See? I'm practically an adult now!"
"Alright Gin, there's no need to grow that much yet," I chuckled and bopped her nose, "I'm gonna go see what Bill's doing, alright?"
"Ofcourse. Soulmates need to see their partners constantly. I'll remember that."
I allowed the thought of correcting her about the existence of soulmates to go at the back of my mind. I didn't want to ruin her innocence so soon and to be honest, I didn't mind her calling us that term.
After shooting a smile at Ginny who had now returned back to her seat and started coloring in the red part of the logo, I started walking back to Bill's room.
After seeing that he wasn't in the room, I assumed he must have gone to check on one of his brothers. I shuffled through his study desk in order to find my storybook which I swear was here an hour ago. I shifted some of the papers here and there but to no luck.
Both Bill and I were extremely messy. Whenever I stayed over at the burrow for the summer, like this time, Molly was always asking us to clean "the horrendous situation" that existed in Bill's room.
Being the good person I was, I had decided to clean up the room yesterday, but now I have no idea where half my stuff is. Not like I knew earlier where it was, but still.
I swear it was exactly on this table an hour ago–
I felt two arms make their way around my waist, startling me at first. Bill then buried his head in the crook of my neck and rocked me gently side to side.
"There's my favourite girlfriend." He muttered as he pressed a kiss to my neck. I glanced at the door which was thankfully shut close. I really wasn't in the mood for interruption again. Bill could be completely random sometimes in the sweetest of ways but the rest of the Weasley family also randomly walked in.
A lot.
I twisted around and wrapped my arms around his neck as his hands travelled to settle at my sides of my waist. "Are you saying you have multiple girlfriends, Weasley?" I teased.
"Nah Lopez, I think one is already too much to handle." He whispered while leaning down towards my lips.
I rolled my eyes and pressed my lips against his. We shared a sweet kiss and I adored every moment of it. He broke the kiss abruptly only to ask me with his eyebrows furrowed, "What happened about Ginny?"
"Oh nothing Bill. She just has a bit of a crush, that's all." I stated nonchalantly and removed his arms from my waist and turned back again in order to continue the search for that darn book.
"But she's like two!"
"Eleven, you mean." I stated as I picked up my lying textbooks from his bed to put them on the table, "You boys give her a hard time, really."
"Are you saying she needs an older sister?" Even if I couldn't see the boy's face I knew he was wearing his infuriating smirk.
Not allowing him to get the last word I questioned in the same taunting tone as his, "Are you implying we get married?"
"Yes."
Chuckling at his silliness, I turned around to stick my tongue out at him him, but was shocked by what I saw next.
Bill was sitting down on one knee with an opened velvet box in his hands.
"Bill!" I whisper-shouted his name, unable to understand the obvious situation.
"Will you Skylar Lopez do me the honour of spending the rest of your life with me?" He said his eyes sparkling with a glint that matched his earring.
"Uhm, I.. er-"
Was Bill proposing to me right now? Wait, ofcourse he was. He was kneeling down on his knee, a ring-box in his hand. Was this real?
He got up from his position and embarrassingly scratched the back of his neck, "I mean, I know you don't like surprises or any unwanted attention, so I thought I'd propose as sweetly as possible. But it's okay if you say n-"
I couldn't believe it. One minute we're just teasing each other like we do everyday, and the order he's down on one knee?!
Hey, but I wasn't complaining.
For some reason, the entire situation had suddenly sunk in, "Yes! Yes! I love you!" I shouted in a mix of delight and confusion as I wrapped my arms around him for a tight hug.
He stiffened at the sudden contact but quickly got back to normal and gave me a bright smile as he hugged me back, rubbed my back affectionately.
He broke away from the hug, only to cup my face and give me a passionate kiss- which would have lasted much longer if it wasn't for giggling outside the room's door.
My (now) fiancé sighed after breaking the kiss. He went over to the door while I stood there just truly letting the moment sink in. He opened the door to two boys who lay giggling and rolling on the ground.
"So much for privacy, Gred and Forge!" He scolded at the twins with the names he used when they misbehaved, which quite honestly was most of the time.
When they finally finished their laughing fit, George stood up and patted the dust off his clothes, "If you saw what I had seen through the keyhole you'd be laughing too, big bro."
"Ya! You guys were all like," Fred joined in and started making kissy faces, "I love youuuu!! Marry mee!!!"
Bill's face turned a shade closer to his hair and I went up to the doorway to press a kiss on his cheek to calm him down. The twins faked gagging and ran away laughing.
Bill turned towards me and started apologizing for ruining the moment and I laughed and told him it had only made it better.
"Skylar!"
I looked up, well more like down, to see the source of the voice to see Ginny running towards me. I picked her up and she hugged my neck and squealed, "Free and George told us. We'll be sisters now!"
"I guess so Gin-Gin." I kissed the tip of her nose which only made her giggle more.
Before I knew it, the rest of the Weasley family had appeared in the doorway, and I put Ginny down only to shyly hold on to Bill's left arm.
"Finally William, you've been carrying that ring around for two months now." Said Mr.Weasley merrily as he patted his son on the back.
Before I could react to the surprising words, I was wrapped up in a hug by Mrs. Weasley and I swear she must have crushed at least two bones of mine.
"Welcome to the family, dear." She said as she pulled apart and I returned her jolly smile with a happy, albeit nervous, one.
Percy gave Bill a bro-nod-thing-guys-always-seem-to-do while Charlie fist-bumped both of us. And when Bill wasn't looking he whispered in my ear, "Good luck living with him for the rest of your life. 'Cause trust me, you're gonna need it."
I gently slapped the back of his head as a response and he reacted by clutching it in incredibly exaggerated pain.
Just when I realized someone was missing from this spontaneous yet cute family meeting, Ron walked in with his teddy bear in one hand, "Hey, that's not fair! I was planning to marry her!"
Bill wrapped his right arm around my waist to pull me closer. "Too bad, Ronnie, she's mine forever now," he said as he gently pressed a kiss to the side of my forehead.

10 years later..

Helga, if I had known that when Ginny said she liked a boy named Harry, it would be the Harry then I would have at least been prepared for today.
Across the Weasley living room, Harry seemed to be making small talk with his soon to be in-laws. Whereas his fiancé, Ginny, was allowing my five-year-old daughter, Victorie, to admire her wedding ring.
Bill seemed to be in a stern conversation with Harry and I went over in order to help the poor lad out.
"—listen up Potter, if you hurt her one bit, I won't hesitate to feed you to good old Voldy's snake!"
Putting a hand on Bill's shoulder, I squeezed it slightly and gave him a look. "Don't worry about him much, laddie. All the brothers mean no harm, really." I cajoled to Harry.
The young boy gave me a nervous smile to which I returned with a kind one to calm him. Bill kissed the top of my forehead as his hand found a way to the small of my back giving me some much needed support.
His gaze softened as he met my eyes, "How have you been feeling, love?"
"I'm perfectly fine Bill," I stated as I rolled my eyes at his question, "It isn't my first time being pregnant, you know?"
"Oh I kno-"
Bill has that cheeky grin which made me realize that he was going to be making one of his usual innuendos. I pitied Harry who seemed to be symbolizing the definition of awkwardness as he refused to leave due to politeness while also refusing to engage in the odd conversation.
So, I interrupted Bill before he could even think of finishing the sentence. Putting a hand on his chest, I said with a warning-laced tone, "Hey, how about you get me a drink William? And till then I'll have a little chat with Harry."
Bill raised both his hands up as if in defense and I shook my head at the silly gesture. "As you say, your majesty." He teased and did a mock bow before leaving.
I chuckled and shook my head at his childish behavior.
Turning towards the boy in front of me, I smiled, "So how has the Weasley family been so far, Harry?"
"Oh it's quite terrific!" Harry replies with a sarcastic grin, "I definitely have not received any death threats within the past hour. Nope. Not even one."
I chuckled at the poor boy and pat his shoulder. I gave him a reassuring smile, "Don't worry lad, the boys are all bark and no bite."
"Yeah, I guess so." He muttered looking at the ground.
"Oh and one more thing," I added as I whispered in a lower voice than before, "The people who you should really be worried about are the girls and I."
I started to wonder how my restless daughter hadn't broken any plates or anything yet. So, I made my way toward her not noticing the paled face of Harry that I left behind.
