Because I couldn't think of a better or less gross title... 😅

So, they didn't do the camera today. I don't think they heard back from my insurance— either that or my insurance won't pay for it so they won't have me swallow the camera, I dunno. XD

What we did find out is that it's been confirmed that this is indeed Crohn's Disease, and I'm being put on steroids for a month. He wants it to be only a short time, so I'm only on them for a month. I think afterwards he wants me on a different medication, which is to be expected since Crohn's is chronic and can be dangerous if flare-ups get bad enough...

Oh! As for diet! I have no restrictions as of now. The only thing I have to do is pay attention to what makes me flare-up. So, coffee and chicken quesadillas from Taco Bell are definitely out of the question— which is a bummer because chicken quesadillas were my absolute favorite thing to eat at Taco Bell... I just won't eat there anymore! Why eat tacos when your mom makes them better, eh?

Anyways! I also have to go in between now and Monday (Mom and I decided on Monday morning) to registration to get some blood work or whatever done, since they didn't do it Tuesday after my colonoscopy. Yay... more needles... 😭 I'm sick of 'em!

But anyways, I believe that's all! In thirteen days we'll meet up with him again and do a more detailed talk on my biopsy, so there's that, too. So. Many. Hospital. Visits. Why. Me? 😂

Oh! He also said that when the steroids kick in, not only will I have more strength and energy, but he said my appetite will probably increase! And it has already increased by a BUNCH! I am so excited, because I have a new love for food ever since I got out of the hospital! 😍

A new thing I always say now is:

"I don't like food, I love it. If I don't love it, I don't swallow."
